Who’s number one in your life today?
Matthew 6:25-34 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? (26) Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? (27) Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? (28) And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: (29) And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. (30) Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? (31) Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (32) (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. (33) But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. (34) Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof (KJV) Our number one priority should always be to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness in and through all things so that He can add unto us that which is needed Spiritually so that we can make it through today victoriously; and if we will do that He will take care of everything else that we have need of as well physically. The very hairs on your and my head is numbered, He knows what we have need of before we even ask; so when we keep Him first and foremost He is able to do abundantly above and beyond what we could ever ask or think. He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him, and all the cares and concerns of this life He will take care of if we allow Him to. So… Matthew 6:32-34 Steep your life in God-reality, God-initiative, God-provisions. Don’t worry about missing out. You’ll find all your everyday human concerns will be met. Give your entire attention to what God is doing right now, and don’t get worked up about what may or may not happen to morrow. God will help you deal with whatever hard things come up when the time comes. (from The Message) There is freedom in now faith because that is where the Lord is, and that is where your strength will be to overcome the everyday cares and concerns of this life. So today, my beloved brethren, keep your heart and mind set on things above where Christ is seated at the right hand side of God, cast your care unto Him and cease from your own works and allow Him to work on your behalf. Let Him be your number one priority today, and let Him add unto you daily as He knows you have need of. God bless and have a prosperous day in Christ Jesus our Lord. Philippians 4:6-7 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. (7) And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. (KJV)
Strong’s definition for ‘careful’: 3309 merimnao (mer-im-nah'-o); from 3308; to be anxious about: KJV-- (be, have) care (-ful), take thought. Thayer’s definition for ‘careful’: 3309 merimnao- 1) to be anxious, to be troubled with cares 2) to care for, to look out for (a thing) a) to seek to promote one's interests b) caring or providing for Ever make the statement, “I could care less”? Well actually that is a good thing; as one continues in their walk with the Lord they find out that they should care less. You know, in the world people get in trouble for careless driving because they put themselves in precarious situations and need to be pulled over. The Lord would like you to pull over, say at a rest stop, because you are headed in the wrong direction; then to make things worse you are hurrying to get there. Hey better yet, how about getting a designated driver, you know someone that has already driven this course and made it through successfully, who is now like a GPS system ready to navigate a better course? Hebrews 4:4-6 For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works. (5) And in this place again, If they shall enter into my rest. (6) Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief: (KJV) God did rest the seventh day because He saw that everything that was needed for mankind was done and provided, the way He saw fit. So just what exactly did you think you could change that our Lord hadn’t done and provided for you before the foundation of the world? Hey believe it or not, He actually did all this without your input or help. Hebrews 4:9-11 There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. (10) For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his. (11) Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief. (KJV) The only labor left for you is to enter into our Lord’s rest or realm, and then let go of all those unnecessary cares and concerns of this fallen realm. The Lord looked down on the seventh day and saw that all He created was very good. Yeah I know, you look around and see all the chaos that is going around and wonder how could it be so? Well, you see how few really trust more in the Lord and less in themselves; many thinking salvation or peace can be attained by works. So folks in conclusion today, how about some care less driving so that you can quit driving yourself into a tizzy, and continue on the straight and narrow path that our Lord chose for you before the foundation of this world. God bless and keep caring less. Romans 11:34-35 For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been his counsellor? (35) Or who hath first given to him, and it shall be recompensed unto him again? (KJV) Philippians 4:6-7 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. (7) And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. (KJV)
Many have a weight problem in this country, which is actually a result of a Spiritual wait symptom. Instead of waiting on the Lord and letting His answer manifest, you know that request you made unto our Lord, many jump the gun and are off and running after an imagination that the enemy planted. The word ‘careful’ also means anxious, and as we see the number of things that we should be taking thought for and concerned about is zero. Now if I was to ask a show of hands, which yes mine would go up as well, how many could say that they were really anxious or concerned for nothing? Deuteronomy 28:1-2 And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth: (2) And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God. (KJV) As one looks around and observes the world around us, we see how fast paced things have become, many people chasing after imaginations; you know those things that the enemy tried to entice our Lord with, the kingdoms of this world and short lived glory of them? Now that you have become accustomed to the Lord and His way of doing things, are you being still long enough so that the blessings can catch up to you and overtake you, or are you two steps ahead thinking that they are in reach? Ever see a child try to run away from a parent when all the parent was trying to do was reach out and assist him or her? Sounds like a lot of Christians who didn’t realize it, but little by little the enemy got them on the run, thinking that they could help the Lord out with their thoughts and ways. Hebrews 12:1-2 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, (2) Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. (KJV) Actually, the truth be known is that when you see people that have packed on some weight in the outward realm it is actually a reflection of their spiritual walk, having allowed the enemy to pack on some things that they thought they could manage. People that enter the Lord’s race course have entered a realm that is totally opposite to the one that we have been accustomed to in the past, and one that you will need to relearn a whole new meaning of the term patience. Isaiah 40:28-31 Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding. (29) He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. (30) Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: (31) But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. (KJV) You know, when you turned your cares and concerns over to the Lord, yeah, you gave it to someone who was much more qualified than you to handle them. So if that is the case, then why did you take those cares and concerns back and re-examine them thinking that you could speed the process up? Many have a weight problem in this country, or should I say a wait one? Many are under wait spiritually, which results in an overweight situation outwardly. So let’s eliminate the over, under, and find that just weight and balance that the Lord would have His people operate in. Remember, the just shall live by faith. God bless and have a prosperous day in Christ Jesus our Lord. 1 Corinthians 6:17 But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit. (KJV)
The two became one so making peace. The world would have you believe that one is a lonely number, but guess what? It isn’t; so much for the worlds point of view! When you are one with the Lord you are never alone. You have the power of the Godhead bodily within you; you become a part of the body of Christ with other members to help in the time of need. We as members of the body of Christ are not the same for a reason, for where one member lacks another is there to support it. Romans 12:5 So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another. (KJV) If you think that you are alone take a look at 1Corinthians 12:12-27. Are you? The devil would like you to believe that you are alone, even when you have others around you. His lies tell us that no one understands and that we have to figure this out on our own. Many in this world take their life because they gave heed more to the lies than to the truth, which is sad to say the least, as it grieves our Father’s heart that they did not seek Him or His truth in Christ. Now the truth of the matter is this, that you do have a Spiritual family that is praying for you, supporting you, and encouraging you in your walk with the Lord on the path of life; whether it is by word, deed, prayer and supplication, or visiting you in the Spirit. So please don’t go it alone, don’t let the devil talk you into it! Resist the devil and he will flee. Reach out to your Spiritual family; let them help you get through whatever you are going through; let the Lord provide the strength and comfort however He chooses too. We are all in this race together, yet one receives the prize, the body of Christ who finishes together as One. Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour. (10) For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up. (11) Again, if two lie together, then they have heat: but how can one be warm alone? (12) And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken. (KJV) This race is no longer about you; it is about operating in the Spirit as one body in Christ. Exodus 17:11-12 And it came to pass, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed: and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed. (12) But Moses hands were heavy; and they took a stone, and put it under him, and he sat thereon; and Aaron and Hur stayed up his hands, the one on the one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun. (KJV) See…the body working together as one, and all have the victory. What a concept. You and I, in one body, working together for the good of the whole. Yes, there are many members, but there is only one body in which we have life and life more abundantly, the body of Christ. Remember my dear brethren that we are all one in Christ Jesus. Don’t go it alone and don’t let anyone else go it alone either. Be instant in season and out of season, ready and willing to lay down your life for the brethren. God bless and have a prosperous day in Christ Jesus our Lord. Ephesians 4:4-6 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; (5) One Lord, one faith, one baptism, (6) One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. (KJV)
1 Timothy 2:5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; (KJV) ‘One’ is a few letters, yet a big word. Another definition would be singular. Is your eye single today, set on the Lord and those things above where He is seated at the right hand side of God? In having that singleness of heart and mind, the intimacy of being in the Spirit, we are one with the Lord. Many begin in this singleness of heart and mind, in the Spirit, but try to perfect it in the flesh and thus become double minded and unstable in all their ways. Trying to please God and man; trying to be one with God and one with the world. You cannot do both! You are either for God or against Him. One or the other. The word ‘one’; it is three letters and there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one (God). And there are three that bear witness in earth (in earthen vessels, you and I), the Spirit, and the water, and the blood; and these three agree in one (Christ Jesus). If you continue in the Word grounded and settled and be not moved away from the hope that is within you (Christ in you the hope of glory) then you shall be one with them and you shall know the truth that shall set you free and keep you free indeed. John 14:15-21 If ye love me, keep my commandments. (16) And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; (17) Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. (18) I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. (19) Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also. (20) At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you. (21) He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. (KJV) This is a promise; He didn’t say maybe or might, He said shall; but once you begin, you have to continue in His love, keeping His commandments, those things that He has spoken and asked you to do, being a doer and not just a hearer. We have been given the mind of Christ, and as we operate in the singleness of heart and mind the Lord is able to instruct us in the things of God, and how to operate in the Spirit so that we are able to overcome in and through all things, and do those things that are pleasing in His sight. And as we overcome we are able to see more, having a vision, of the One manifesting within us. A vision of how God made this same Jesus both Lord and Christ representing ‘the’ Godhead bodily, our mediator. Now my beloved brethren my prayer is that of Jesus Christ in John 17, that you may continue as one with them even as they are one in you; and that you come to a full personal knowledge of the truth that is in you, and hold fast in singleness of heart and mind to it. God bless and have a prosperous day in Christ Jesus our Lord. 2 Corinthians 10:3-5 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (4) (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) (5) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; (KJV)
Sometimes the enemy will try to get you entangled again in the affairs of this life thinking something carnal could ever satisfy a spiritual need. Or that something carnal could ever bring an end to fear or doubt. Always know this Church, that although we walk in this carnal realm, your answer will not come from it, rather it will manifest within you first, bringing peace and confidence no matter how chaotic things may be happening in the outward. John 14:26-27 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. (27) Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. (KJV) Sometimes the enemy will come along and try to paint a picture which is just too good to be true. Always know that the enemy is more than willing to show you a highlight reel of the pleasures of sin, it’s just those doggone consequences that he seems to leave out that get us every time. Let me put it to you this way, people who live in an imaginary realm end up with imaginary results, none of which came from God. The peace of this world is based on outward events, while the peace of God is based on the inward; you know that truth that sets you free? Jeremiah 16:5 For thus saith the LORD, Enter not into the house of mourning, neither go to lament nor bemoan them: for I have taken away my peace from this people, saith the LORD, even lovingkindness and mercies. (KJV) Sometimes you will find yourself in a place that is not very peaceable or uplifting, even though they may claim to be a Christian organization. If the peace of God is not there it is not because God didn’t desire to be there, rather it’s always on mans’ end when they remove themselves out of His will. Just because they claim to be of God doesn’t always make it so. Colossians 3:15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful. (KJV) Sometimes we have a tendency to base our decisions more on the outward rather than the inward. A job situation, just because it pays more, doesn’t mean that it was the Lord’s first choice. How about that person that you decided you wanted to be in a relationship with, was it based more on an outward desire or an inward one? Always know that if the peace of God is not leading you in your decisions, then you are chasing a mirage, an imagination that will end up being a dead end. Philippians 4:6-8 Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. (7) And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. (8) Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. (KJV) Sometimes we get anxious, which is what the word careful is referring to, and we get ahead of God chasing what we think is a blessing. Always know that by being still and waiting on the Lord, you will then know when it is peaceable and coming from above, or whether you have fallen for something below what He intended. How about verse 8 dealing with the reality of where the Lord will be found, and not some empty carnal imagination you thought would work. Isaiah 55:7-9 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. (8) For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. (9) For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. (KJV) Sometimes we get a bit stuck in the mud of this fallen world because we don’t step out in faith into the realm that our Lord was dying to give His people access to. Always know this that those who keep doing the same carnal things should not imagine something Spiritual to manifest. So Church, lets rise up, and get off our carnal couches and walk in a newness of life where you will find the true peace of God. God bless and keep renewed; and have a prosperous day in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Sometimes we spend too much time trying to emulate others and think that if we could only be like someone else. Always know this Church that God does not and never has made mistakes, especially when it comes to His people. Genesis 1:31 And God saw everything that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day. (KJV) Sometimes we let our imagination run wild thinking that if we only looked a bit different then we could have a better life. The reality is that God saw you, who just happens to be made in His image and His likeness, as turning out very good. Always keep this in mind, that God is the highest that we can go in this universe; so if He says that you are very good, well that is what I would call top shelf material. Genesis 2:16-18 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: (17) But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. (18) And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him. (KJV) Sometimes God’s people go trolling down an imaginary trail looking for a significant other. Do take note of the fact that before Adam fell and had knowledge of evil, you don’t see him chasing after blessings. Always know that God has a perfect plan for your life and supplies all your need. So if the Lord decides that you would be better off in a marriage than on your own, well hey, why not let Him pick out someone who He considers very good for your walk? Mark 10:6-9 But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female. (7) For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife; (8) And they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh. (9) What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder. (KJV) Sometimes the enemy will come along, especially in these last days, and try to alter God’s plan concerning marriage. Today we have many alternative lifestyles rising up from the ashes of hell, and man is falling for those imaginary relationships. Always know that when God puts a situation together concerning a man and a woman, which by the way is the only one He works with, then don’t let your lower natures put it asunder. 1Corinthians 7:27-29 Art thou bound unto a wife? seek not to be loosed. Art thou loosed from a wife? seek not a wife. (28) But and if thou marry, thou hast not sinned; and if a virgin marry, she hath not sinned. Nevertheless such shall have trouble in the flesh: but I spare you. (29) But this I say, brethren, the time is short: it remaineth, that both they that have wives be as though they had none; (KJV) Oh, and sometimes God’s people just end up settling for whatever or whoever is available, who shows them some love. Always know this, that there is a big difference between what God joins together and what our lower nature becomes attached to or decides to settle with. Do know this though, if you are not doing it for the right reason, rather you let the enemy paint you a picture with your rose colored glasses on, well that rose you end up reaching for has a lot of pricks that go with it. God bless dearly loved and have a prosperous day in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Sometimes we imagine ourselves as being someone or something that we are not, and then wonder why we are not progressing in our walk with the Lord. Those thoughts and imaginations can go both ways, where we either think to highly of ourselves or we belittle ourselves thinking that we are not of much worth and end up burying our talent. Always know that what God said is very good does include you and your walk with Him. John 14:1-3 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. (2) In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. (3) And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. (KJV) Sometimes we think that just because we are not called to be a pastor or prophet, that our place in the body of Christ is not that important. Always know that our Lord has a place in His body of believers picked out for you; one that He chose for you before the foundation of the world. Always know this fact as well; that this place that He picked out is a perfect fit for you, one that no one else could accomplish as well as you. You are a unique individual with a personality that God created you with, and I pray you never let anyone quench that Spirit. Romans 12:3-5 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith. (4) For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office: (5) So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another. (KJV) Sometimes people come to the Lord for the wrong reasons, trying to make a name for themselves and focusing the attention on man instead of God. It’s always a healthy reminder for us to know that without God and the leading of His Spirit, we can do nothing. Your place in the body is very vital, and something that our Lord does not take lightly and neither should you. Luke 14:8-11 When thou art bidden of any man to a wedding, sit not down in the highest room; lest a more honourable man than thou be bidden of him; (9) And he that bade thee and him come and say to thee, Give this man place; and thou begin with shame to take the lowest room. (10) But when thou art bidden, go and sit down in the lowest room; that when he that bade thee cometh, he may say unto thee, Friend, go up higher: then shalt thou have worship in the presence of them that sit at meat with thee. (11) For whosoever exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted. (KJV) Sometimes people put themselves in positions that God never intended for them to be in and end up falling for a lie. When dealing with our Lord know always that a little humility will go a long way toward finding your true place in His body of believers. Be still and humble yourself before our Lord putting others first, then you will find your true calling and place at His table. Ephesians 4:14-16 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; (15) But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: (16) From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love. (KJV) Sometimes we think less of ourselves and will only rely on someone because they have a degree or a following. But always know that, as you grow and mature in your walk with the Lord, you can hear His voice for yourself and know who you are in Christ. Also know that when you gather together with the saints you have a lot to offer, because the body is something that every joint member should be doing their part in. So stay built up and edified in the faith. God bless dearly loved and have a prosperous day in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Sometimes the enemy will try to come in like a flood, getting you to buy into the imagination that if you only made a different choice in the past your life would be so much better today. Always know this, that if you know that you are saved and in good standing with the Lord today, right now, then what took place in the past is history. Romans 8:28-31 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. (29) For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. (30) Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified. (31) What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? (KJV) Sometimes we see that even though we didn’t always make the wisest choice before, the Lord is working it out for the good. Always know that the more you meditate and think that, ‘if only I had done something different before, then what is in front of me would be so much better’, you are looking behind. Do know this that the Lord is in front of us, or should I say before us, so what could possibly be against us that would have any effect? Isaiah 54:14-17 In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression; for thou shalt not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near thee. (15) Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake. (16) Behold, I have created the smith that bloweth the coals in the fire, and that bringeth forth an instrument for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy. (17) No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD. (KJV) Sometimes we act like sheep headed for the slaughter rather than realizing all of the weapons that we have working on our behalf. Always keep in mind this fact; that our Lord promised us that ‘no’ means ‘no’ when concerning a weapon formed against one of His people. I would not want to be in opposition to the Lord when He decides enough is enough. Genesis 50:17-20 So shall ye say unto Joseph, Forgive, I pray thee now, the trespass of thy brethren, and their sin; for they did unto thee evil: and now, we pray thee, forgive the trespass of the servants of the God of thy father. And Joseph wept when they spake unto him. (18) And his brethren also went and fell down before his face; and they said, Behold, we be thy servants. (19) And Joseph said unto them, Fear not: for am I in the place of God? (20) But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive. (KJV) Sometimes you imagine yourself in a place where according to the outward all hope is vanished. Always try to take comfort in the fact that God has dealt with these situations for a long time and knows how to deliver His people from evil. So today let’s expect the best knowing that we serve the best and give Him our best effort. Imagine that. God bless dearly loved and have a prosperous day in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Sometimes we as Christians spend too much time in the realm of imaginations, which is the minds ability to form a picture of things not really happening. How about this, worry is just a down payment on a problem that may never take place, well at least not in the real world that is. Our weapons are mighty Church, and no not mighty as they might work, rather they always work when one keeps their Spiritual senses exercised in knowing the difference between what came from the Lord and the change up that the enemy threw your way. 1 Peter 5:6-7 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: (7) Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. (KJV) Sometimes we cast our cares upon the Lord, and then when nothing appears to be happening we take them back and analyze them again. Always know that I compare that to casting something into the garbage can, then going dumpster diving later on. The more one deals with things that should have been discarded, well the more unhealthy they become. 1 Peter 5:8-9 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: (9) Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. (KJV) Sometimes your day will seem like more of a struggle, while other days seem like a breeze. Our adversary the devil will stop by from time to time and check on God’s people to see if a weakness has manifested, or an opening in the armor of God. Always know that if you meet him with strong resistance then he will flee from you, not wanting to be exposed for the liar that he is. The quicker you pull up the weed that the enemy tries to plant, well the less of a stronghold that will take root. Ezekiel 34:27-29 And the tree of the field shall yield her fruit, and the earth shall yield her increase, and they shall be safe in their land, and shall know that I am the LORD, when I have broken the bands of their yoke, and delivered them out of the hand of those that served themselves of them. (28) And they shall no more be a prey to the heathen, neither shall the beast of the land devour them; but they shall dwell safely, and none shall make them afraid. (29) And I will raise up for them a plant of renown, and they shall be no more consumed with hunger in the land, neither bear the shame of the heathen any more. (KJV) Sometimes the enemy will try to paint a worst case scenario for God’s people and then ask them to buy the portrait. Being built up and prepared with the whole armor of God will always be your way of escape, letting the truth set you free from the lies and deceptions of the wicked one. Ezekiel 34:30-31 Thus shall they know that I the LORD their God am with them, and that they, even the house of Israel, are my people, saith the Lord GOD. (31) And ye my flock, the flock of my pasture, are men, and I am your God, saith the Lord GOD. (KJV) Sometimes we think God has left us or forsaken us, and moved on to something or someone else. Always know that the Lord will never leave you, nor forsake you as well, and that surely goodness and mercy is following you all the days of your life. God bless dearly loved and have a prosperous day in Christ Jesus our Lord. |
