Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. (KJV)
How often do we find ourselves thinking on the cares and concerns of this life? We are to cast all our care unto the Lord and allow the peace that passes all understanding to keep our heart and mind through Christ Jesus. The more we keep our heart and mind on those things above the more we are able to overcome the everyday cares and concerns that creep in because we have taken the time in the renewing of our mind so that we are operating with the mind of Christ and not that of ourselves. To be spiritually minded is life and peace, to be carnally minded is death. Those cares and concerns of this life do not bring or give us peace and life; all they do is stir up anxiety, fear, and confusion. But, we have not been given the spirit of fear but of a sound mind, the mind of Christ. Philippians 4:6-7 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. (7) And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. (KJV) When we are thinking on those things above where Christ is seated at the right hand side of God we are able to be instructed by God through Christ which is our strength, and we are able to be at peace no matter the external circumstances. How much more at peace would you be if you kept your mind renewed by thinking on those things which bring life and life more abundantly to you? Think about this, in all that we do each day, if we are doing it unto the Lord our mind is continually renewed because we are thinking on doing what pleases our Father in heaven; and thus we are thinking on that which is true, honest, just, pure, and lovely; and it will be of a good report full of virtue, and commendable before God our Father. In doing this you acknowledge every good thing that is in you in Christ Jesus, and you forget those things behind because you are operating in now faith, thinking on the present within you. Your heart and mind is at peace when you are in the present, leaving the cares and concerns of this life in the capable hands of the Lord. My beloved brethren, a mind renewed is a beautiful thing; so I encourage each of you this day to think on those things which bring life and peace through Christ Jesus our Lord; and be true, just, honest, pure, and lovely so that you are of moral excellence and our Lord can present you blameless before God our Father, being commendable in His sight. Brethren, for Christ’s sake think on those things above! God bless and have a prosperous day in Christ Jesus our Lord. Psalm 89:26 He shall cry unto me, Thou art my father, my God, and the rock of my salvation.
My desire Father is to give of myself, dying daily as the Lord leads for our family. I want it to be out of a pure heart. I don’t want to be a respecter of any man’s person. But to love by laying down my life for my brethren as my Lord did for me. My desire Father is to see the beauty in all things through your eyes, and to hear the beauty through your ears. My desire Father is to be intimate in the Spirit with you and to experience what a father really is. My desire Father is to see the value that you see and know is in me. Psalm 38:9 Lord, all my desire is before thee; and my groaning is not hid from thee. What is your heart’s desire? Take a look at John 17; what heart’s desire do you see? Jesus Christ laid down His life for you and me, which enabled Him to perceive the love of God. All of these desires are based on a heart seeking to please our Father in heaven; groaning to be more Christ like in all manner of life, and to do these things based on a pure motive, the heart of God, and not that of ourselves and what we want or desire out of this life. 1 John 3:16 Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. (KJV) If your spirit is groaning for a deeper relationship with our Father, and to be more like Him, and to share His love with others then your heart’s desire is unto righteousness. He knows the thoughts and intents of our heart; and He will discourage any wrong thing that is in us from forming, and He will encourage every good thing that is in us to flourish. He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him in Spirit and in truth; so, delight yourself in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart. Let’s just make sure that our heart’s desire is in serving Him first and foremost. That being said, my beloved brethren, my heart’s desire is that you lay down your life, continue in truth, and continue to grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. God bless. 2 Peter 1:3-8 For His divine power has bestowed upon us all things that [are requisite and suited] to life and godliness, through the [full, personal] knowledge of Him who called us by and to His own glory and excellence (virtue). 4. By means of these He has bestowed on us His precious and exceedingly great promises, so that through them you may escape [by flight] from the moral decay (rottenness and corruption) that is in the world because of covetousness (lust and greed), and become sharers (partakers) of the divine nature. 5. For this very reason, adding your diligence [to the divine promises], employ every effort in exercising your faith to develop virtue (excellence, resolution or determination, Christian energy), and in [exercising] virtue [develop] knowledge (intelligence), 6. And in [exercising] knowledge [develop] self-control (in knowing the truth there is self-control), and in [exercising] self-control [develop] steadfastness (patience, endurance), and in [exercising] steadfastness [develop] godliness (piety, commitment & obedience), 7. And in [exercising] godliness [develop] brotherly affection (laying down your life), and in [exercising] brotherly affection [develop] Christian love (Christ formed in you). 8. For as these qualities are yours and increasingly abound in you, they will keep [you] from being idle or unfruitful unto the [full, personal] knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed one). AMP
These are all attributes or characteristics of the divine nature which was formed, brought to maturity, within Jesus of Nazareth. He decreased by dying daily to the wants and desires of his fleshly nature (the nature of man) so that Christ (the attributes or characteristics of God) would increase and over take the old corrupt fleshly nature. Jesus Christ left us an example to follow: to put off the old man, and put on of the new man who is renewed in the knowledge of Him who created you, and to do this continually. As you do these things (put off the old, put on the new) the more you see who God is; you begin to understand His nature through experience in your own life in Christ; you begin to understand His love, His grace, and His mercy for us and how lovingly He provided us the way of fellowship with Him, and escape from this corrupt and dying world through Jesus Christ. As you do these things you will not be blind to the truth, the full personal knowledge of God and Jesus Christ who He sent; and you have His promise that you shall never fall. 2 Peter 1:9-12 But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins. (10) Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall: (11) For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. (12) Wherefore I will not be negligent to put you always in remembrance of these things, though ye know them, and be established in the present truth. (KVJ) My beloved brethren, I pray that you will continue to make these qualities yours and let them increasingly abound in you, so that you are not idle or unfruitful in your walk but that you do come to a full personal knowledge of the truth that is in you. Have you had your daily dose? I’m not talking about the medicines of this world, but the Spiritual medicine that is able to heal your wounds and illnesses that are spiritual and physical, and renew your life in abundance.
Christ is that healing Word that is able to renew you, make you whole where you are lacking; that healing Word that is able to strengthen you when you are weak; that healing Word that is able to ease the burden’s of this life as you are yoked together with it. Do you see how Christ is able to make all things new for you daily? You don’t have to go it alone; whatever it may be. Yoke yourself to the Lord, and take your daily dose of the Spiritual medicine that He knows you have need of to be healed; whether it is spiritual or physical. A daily dose of the fullness of the Word of God is what will heal you, strengthen you, and ease the burden’s of this life so that you can mount up as wings of eagles and fly through this life above the cares and concerns of it, the pain and suffering of it, the ill effects of it, and reach up into heaven where the reigning Word will cleanse away your tears and heartache, bringing forth healing and new life within you. My dearly loved brethren, be ye renewed in the spirit of your mind, taking your daily dose of the healing Word of God so that you can see and experience His healing power working within you, and for you, and through you. God bless and have a prosperous day in Christ Jesus our Lord. Die daily or hold onto your life…
Matthew 16:24-26 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. (25) For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it. (26) For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? (KJV) To die daily means to die to self, the old ways and habits, your wants and desires, so that you can partake of the newness of life in Christ. It is a daily choice for each of us. When we are asked of the Lord to let something in our life die so that He can replace it with something new it does not always ‘feel’ good, but if we are obedient it brings about the peaceable fruit of righteousness within us; growth and maturity in Christ. We have to let go of the old to partake of the new; you can’t add a piece of new cloth to an old garment and expect it to hold, yet how many of us try to do just that, trying to mix the old with the new and expect ourselves to grow and mature in Christ? John 3:30 He must increase, but I must decrease. (KJV) Do you see that…the ‘I’ must decrease! Not maybe, but MUST to enable the newness of life in Christ to increase in our lives; to allow the Word to overtake, to conquer, to obliterate our old nature. Even Paul confessed ‘I die daily’ (1Cor 15:31). Are you willing to die to self? Are you willing to lay down your life for the brethren? Are you willing to lay down your life so that you can have life and life more abundantly? Are you willing to lose your life for Christ’s sake? Are you willing to die to live eternally? Choose you this day whom you will serve… Josh 24:14-15 Now therefore fear the LORD, and serve him in sincerity and in truth: and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt; and serve ye the LORD. (15) And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD. (KJV) It is a daily choice for each of us as to who we will serve. We have been given a free will; and the Lord desires us to freely, not grudgingly, give our life over to God on a daily basis to serve Him in Spirit and in truth. As we die daily to the old wants and desires the Lord fills us up with new desires, Spiritual desires, those desires that will enable us to make it to our heavenly home to be seated together forever at the right hand side of God with Christ. Dearly loved brethren I pray that you will choose daily to die to live. As for me and my house, we choose to die and serve the LORD. God bless and have a prosperous day in Christ Jesus our Lord. Luke 16:10-12 He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much. (11) If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches? (12) And if ye have not been faithful in that which is another man's, who shall give you that which is your own? (KJV)
Many have aspirations of being a minister of God; however, they overlook simple little things that cause them to fall away. Paul was specific to write that the root cause of all evil is traced back to the heart and the true desires of it. In our Lord’s realm, it is the opposite of mans; what man esteems to be first on their priority list is actually the least concern of our Lord, where what the Lord would consider first would get put on the back burner by man. Yeah that love of money has taken many a well intentioned preacher to the bottom and drowned them in destruction and perdition. Luke 16:13-14 No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. (14) And the Pharisees also, who were covetous, heard all these things: and they derided him. (KJV) It’s one or the other Church, we are either with our Lord or we are in opposition, no middle ground. I have heard some modern day Pharisees who claim that giving money to their organizations is the highest form of worship. Yet our Lord was quite specific in the fact that His true worshippers would be doing so in the realm of the Spirit, and according to truth, which has nothing to do with dollar amounts, does it? Luke 12:25-28 And which of you with taking thought can add to his stature one cubit? (26) If ye then be not able to do that thing which is least, why take ye thought for the rest? (27) Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. (28) If then God so clothe the grass, which is to day in the field, and to morrow is cast into the oven; how much more will he clothe you, O ye of little faith? (KJV) The Lord desires for His people to grow up and mature in the realm of the Spirit by their faith in the completed work that He has done on our behalf. However, when looking around today and listening to many of mans fallen doctrines I see that they are spinning in circles thinking that something carnal would ever satisfy a Spiritual need. 1 Corinthians 5:6-8 Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump? (7) Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us: (8) Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth. (KJV) Didn’t take much leaven to get in and infiltrate the whole lump did it? The enemy tweaks the doctrine a little bit, just enough to make it too good to be true. In order to partake of the riches above and be used of God effectively, you will need to abandon your pursuit of the riches of this fallen temporal world. You just can’t have it both ways Church. James 3:4-6 Behold also the ships, which though they be so great, and are driven of fierce winds, yet are they turned about with a very small helm, whithersoever the governor listeth. (5) Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth! (6) And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell. (KJV) You know, if that rudder is just a bit off in the beginning of the launch and nobody notices it right away, by the time it gets to the other side of the sea it will be way off course. Didn’t take much to cause trouble did it; a very small helm or that little member of ours called a tongue, which can be such a hot button if left unchecked. Hebrews 5:11-12 Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing ye are dull of hearing. (12) For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat. (KJV) God has called many into His fold, yet in the end only a few are really chosen. The few are the ones who have not overlooked the simple little things that God said would be deal breakers if not observed. Matthew 7:13-14 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: (14) Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. (KJV) God bless dearly loved and have a prosperous day in Christ Jesus our Lord. Luke 9:46-48 Then there arose a reasoning among them, which of them should be greatest. (47) And Jesus, perceiving the thought of their heart, took a child, and set him by him, (48) And said unto them, Whosoever shall receive this child in my name receiveth me: and whosoever shall receive me receiveth him that sent me: for he that is least among you all, the same shall be great. (KJV)
Strongs definition for ‘least’: 3398 mikros (mik-ros'); including the comparative mikroteros (mik-rot'-er-os); apparently a primary word; small (in size, quantity, number or (figuratively) dignity): KJV-- least, less, little, small. So your goal in life is to become a big name preacher with a worldwide following, hey maybe we could be on TV! Oh, and if I could build a big building that would really impress our Lord, wouldn’t it? Uh actually, the more you get out of the way the more it allows someone else to have His way. Our goal as Christians on a daily basis is like Paul wrote, in that he died daily. Our goal on a daily basis should not be so much as getting bigger, rather learning to become smaller. Ephesians 3:7-8 Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power. (8) Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ; (KJV) Simply put, Paul realized how little and insignificant his ways were as compared to what the Lord could do in and through Him if he would just get out of the way. Those that are truly called of God realize that their salvation is based on grace and on what the Lord has done on our behalf, and not on what many claim they are doing on His behalf. Matthew 25:37-40 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? (38) When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? (39) Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? (40) And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. (KJV) The righteous are the ones that didn’t judge by the outward appearance or stature; rather they were ready to give the Lord’s answer to any man that would ask of the reason of the hope that is within them. As you see, that when we do these things unto what many would consider least and of little value, well it is quite a big deal, because we are doing it personally unto our Lord. Think of it this way, if you had someone who saved one of your children from drowning, you would be more than willing to seek them out and thank them as well as reward them. Mark 10:42-45 But Jesus called them to him, and saith unto them, Ye know that they which are accounted to rule over the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and their great ones exercise authority upon them. (43) But so shall it not be among you: but whosoever will be great among you, shall be your minister: (44) And whosoever of you will be the chiefest, shall be servant of all. (45) For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many. (KJV) So you want to be a minister and make a big name for yourself? Well if you do, then you will find out that it is just the opposite of what the Lord is asking of His people. The greatest love that we can have toward our Lord and His people is to lay down our own lives for them. Are you ready to be ordained yet? God bless dearly loved and have a prosperous day in Christ Jesus our Lord. Mark 8:6-9 And he commanded the people to sit down on the ground: and he took the seven loaves, and gave thanks, and brake, and gave to his disciples to set before them; and they did set them before the people. (7) And they had a few small fishes: and he blessed, and commanded to set them also before them. (8) So they did eat, and were filled: and they took up of the broken meat that was left seven baskets. (9) And they that had eaten were about four thousand: and he sent them away. (KJV)
I would like to address an issue I have seen taking place and expose it for the carnal way man thinks. First of all I would like to know how do people describe a gift to God, and then they categorize it large or small. Really, because from what I am seeing God’s ways are so much higher than mans; in fact it is described as being as high as the heaven from the earth. We are the ones that downplay what the Lord is asking of us, and then keep Him in our carnal little boxes. Luke 21:1-4 And he looked up, and saw the rich men casting their gifts into the treasury. (2) And he saw also a certain poor widow casting in thither two mites. (3) And he said, Of a truth I say unto you, that this poor widow hath cast in more than they all: (4) For all these have of their abundance cast in unto the offerings of God: but she of her penury hath cast in all the living that she had. (KJV) Wow, that is totally opposite of what many are teaching, because they make it sound like the more I give the more I get. Yet isn’t it interesting once again to see where our Lord put the emphasis, and that would be on the inward intent of the heart and not the outward amount so many judge by. James 2:1-4 My brethren, have not the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory, with respect of persons. (2) For if there come unto your assembly a man with a gold ring, in goodly apparel, and there come in also a poor man in vile raiment; (3) And ye have respect to him that weareth the gay clothing, and say unto him, Sit thou here in a good place; and say to the poor, Stand thou there, or sit here under my footstool: (4) Are ye not then partial in yourselves, and are become judges of evil thoughts? (KJV) I have actually seen where so called ministers do their telethons and then offer special privileges, even a gold brick that they will put your name on if you give a certain amount. Again, mind boggling isn’t it; and yet so carnal compared to how our Lord would have us deal with His people is it not? James 2:5-6 Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him? (6) But ye have despised the poor. Do not rich men oppress you, and draw you before the judgment seats? (KJV) Boy O boy, because of the simple little things that they let slip through their Spiritual radars they still judge things by the outward appearance rather than the inward one that our Lord looks at. 1 Corinthians 12:23-25 And those members of the body, which we think to be less honourable, upon these we bestow more abundant honour; and our uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness. (24) For our comely parts have no need: but God hath tempered the body together, having given more abundant honour to that part which lacked: (25) That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another. (KJV) Houston we have a problem; this rocket just won’t get off the ground because mankind is still stuck in their lower fallen limited natures and have overlooked those people that God requires us to give the more abundant honor to. Simple, and yet just enough to keep the mission grounded. God bless dearly loved and have a prosperous day in Christ Jesus our Lord. Deuteronomy 7:6-8 For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God: the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth. (7) The LORD did not set his love upon you, nor choose you, because ye were more in number than any people; for ye were the fewest of all people: (8) But because the LORD loved you, and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn unto your fathers, hath the LORD brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of bondmen, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt. (KJV)
I hope and pray that you don’t base salvation on big numbers and head counts as many false prophets and teachers do. Actually the only thing that does count is your love and commitment to our Lord in return for all that He has done for His people. Oh, and don’t take it personal as you grow and mature in your walk with the Lord that the numbers on the path of life seem to be dwindling. Luke 12:31-34 But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you. (32) Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom. (33) Sell that ye have, and give alms; provide yourselves bags which wax not old, a treasure in the heavens that faileth not, where no thief approacheth, neither moth corrupteth. (34) For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. (KJV) As you can see, the flock gets narrowed down when it comes to personal responsibility with the Lord. In the end the reality is only a few are willing to lay down their lives and sell out the world and its fallen ways. Many today still treasure carnal riches more than the heavenly ones that God had His Son die for and they are exposed for their folly. You will find out that as you set your affection on things above the enemy is no longer getting a clear shot at the heart because of the shield of faith that you are holding up. Matthew 9:36-38 But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd. (37) Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; (38) Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest. (KJV) Oh the Church is growing in leaps and bounds and the numbers are staggering. Well, when one takes off their rose colored carnal glasses they see that it is not so. In fact when you look up the word ‘few’ you see the term, little, puny, and small being mentioned. Matthew 22:12-14 And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless. (13) Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. (14) For many are called, but few are chosen. (KJV) The many decided to exchange the truth for a lie and did not show up with the right garment. Many today are still operating according to their own righteousness and not the Lord’s, and they will not have much of a response some day when the Lord exposes them for who they really are. Matthew 18:18-20 Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. (19) Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. (20) For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. (KJV) Huh? Two or three, that doesn’t seem like much does it? Well, according to God you have a majority no matter how small you think it is. God bless dearly loved and have a prosperous day in Christ Jesus our Lord. 2 Corinthians 11:1-3 Would to God ye could bear with me a little in my folly: and indeed bear with me. (2) For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ. (3) But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. (KJV)
It has been said that it is not the mountains that we trip over, rather it is the small stumbling blocks that trip us up at times. Things were pretty simple before the fall of mankind; after all it was not until after the fall that the law was introduced and then it became quite a complicated situation to deal with. Today we are in an age of grace where things should be simple because that is the way that our Lord made His plan of salvation to work. However, unless we keep the eyes of our understanding open and alert, we will find ourselves falling for little things that we should have seen right in front of us. Psalms 119:104-105 Through thy precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way. (105) Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. (KJV) We live in a world of darkness because there is really not that many left who are truly shining the light of the Lord out there. Satan has many who appear as an angel of light, however, just like with the number 666 it is not complete and just enough of the truth is left out of the doctrine that they bring. You will find in your walk that if you just concentrate on your next step today, what is right in front of you, you won’t fall for some cheap trick or illusion of the enemy. Simply put, take no thought for tomorrow. James 3:1-2 My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation. (2) For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body. (KJV) Williams New Testament translation for James 3:1-2 1. Many of you, my brothers, should avoid becoming teachers, because you know that we teachers are going to be judged with stricter judgment than other people. 2. For we all make many a slip. If anyone never slips in speech, he is a man of maturity; he can control his whole body too. Many desire to teach and preach the word of God, however, the truth is that few are willing to walk the walk first. With many they are like the national debt where their talk is way ahead of their walk and it will take some simple hearing on their part to bridge the gap. Many overlook and downplay the importance of the tongue and don’t realize that our words will make or break our entrance into the kingdom of God and His eternal inheritance. 2 John 1:7-11 For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist. (8) Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward. (9) Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. (10) If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: (11) For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds. (KJV) Don’t be like the many who are off and running at the mouth, when the truth is that their heart is far from the Lord. If you don’t know the doctrine of Christ then you are not with Him, which puts you in the category of antichrist. So simple and yet so little seen. God bless dearly loved and have a prosperous day in Christ Jesus our Lord. |
