1Thesselonians 2:12-13 That ye would walk worthy of God, who hath called you unto his kingdom and glory. 13 For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually works also in you that believe. (KJV)
Those that are truly walking with the Lord and living a life that resembles that of Christ are the ones that are receiving this message of faith first hand from above. Before my own conversion in Christ I heard many different doctrines by those that claimed they were of God, but were not. It wasn’t until I heard this word firsthand for myself and it actually penetrated my heart did it make a change and become effectual in my life. This is a continual process that needs to take place even after your conversion if you are truly going to grow up and mature in Christ. Galatians 1:1-3 Paul, an apostle, (not of men, neither by man, but by Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead ;) 2 And all the brethren which are with me, unto the churches of Galatia: 3 Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ, (KJV) Paul in his younger years spent some time studying under the tutelage of Gamaliel, a prominent teacher in his day. You will notice though that in his writings Paul gives credit where credit is truly due. I say this because I have heard carnal Christians talk about how some certain person or pastor is feeding them with their teachings. Nothing though could be further from the truth; you will never learn anything from any man period, end of story. However, if certain individuals choose to allow the Holy Spirit to speak through them, and the Spirit reveals something to you personally, that is when there will be a change in your walk with the Lord. Romans 8:14-17 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. 15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. 16 The Spirit itself bears witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: 17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. (KJV) If the Spirit is not bearing witness to your spirit personally, then you will not be hearing God properly and are basically getting ripped off. I personally have never taught anyone anything about the Bible, however, when I allow the Holy Spirit to speak through me then the Spirit is the one that will do the teaching properly. Matthew 11:25-27 At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes. 26 Even so, Father: for so it seemed good in thy sight. 27 All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knows the Son, but the Father; neither knows any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him. (KJV) This week Church the message is quite simple; don’t ever rely on any carnal man to teach you spiritual things. If you truly desire to know what God’s plan of salvation is and how to walk in it, then let God reveal it to you personally through His Son. God bless dearly loved and have a prosperous day in Christ Jesus our Lord. John 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. (KJV)
Jesus Christ expected and spoke words of faith; He knew without doubt that He had overcome the world. All this even before He had yet gone to the cross. He left us an example to follow, and we see it in all those before us who overcame the world by remaining in Him, walking by faith and not by sight. 1John 5:4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. (KJV) Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. (KJV) Right now, at this moment, each of us should be walking in now faith; not looking at the past which we cannot change, and not looking to the future which is not for us to fret about, but to look for the moment, the opportunity to be strengthened so that we can take that next step in faith in the direction that the Lord would have us to go, right now, expecting the best in Him. 2 Timothy 4:7-8 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: (8) Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing. (KJV) Here we see Paul’s confidence, in the Lord and in doing all that Father had asked of him. He knew without doubt that he had fought the good fight of faith, and that there was a crown of righteousness awaiting him. So fight, not as one who beats at the air, but make your blows count; fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life and let it not go. Many are called but few are willing to put up a fight and lay hold of what is rightfully theirs in Christ. Few take the time to find out what is rightfully theirs in the first place, and then take what they have been given in Christ and exercise their Spiritual senses so that they can discern between good and evil, and fight for that which is upright and well pleasing in our Father’s sight. Few fight to keep their flesh in subjection so that they can do those things that are pleasing to God; and without faith it is impossible to please Him. Doubt is the greatest thief. Are you going to let it steal from you, or are you going to put up a fight, knowing who within you has already overcome the world and has given you the victory already to lay hold of? Do you desire the crown of righteousness that is laid up for you in heaven? Then without doubt, continue to fight the good fight of faith. God bless and have a prosperous day in Christ Jesus our Lord. James 1:12 Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him. (KJV) Strong’s definition for ‘will’:
NT:2307 thelema (thel'-ay-mah); from the prolonged form of NT:2309; a determination (properly, the thing), i.e. (actively) choice (specially, purpose, decree; abstractly, volition) or (passively) inclination: KJV - desire, pleasure, will. Thayer’s definition for ‘will’: 1) What one wishes or has determined shall be done
As you can see, it can be your will or God’s will but it can’t be both. You are either with Him and in His will, or you are against Him and not in His will. You cannot server God and mammon. You cannot serve your own will as well as His, they are contrary to one another. One will get you into His kingdom and righteousness and the other (your will) will leave you on the outside looking in. It is your choice. John 6:38-40 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me. (39) And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. (40) And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day. (KJV) John 5:30-32 I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me. (31) If I bear witness of myself, my witness is not true. (32) There is another that beareth witness of me; and I know that the witness which he witnesseth of me is true. (KJV) Jesus Christ was sent here to do our heavenly Father’s will…His will be done in earth as it is in heaven. It is His will that we would do the same. That of all that our Father has given us, that we should lose nothing but the son of perdition (our old nature), and be raised up a Spiritual being that can be raised up the last day and presented unto our Father without spot or blemish, wearing our robe of righteousness, our wedding garment adorned in Christ. Deuteronomy 30:19-20 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live: (20) That thou mayest love the LORD thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them. (KJV) Those shall have life that choose it: those that choose the favour of God and communion with him for their felicity, and prosecute their choice as they ought, shall have what they choose. (Matthew Henry’s Commentary) Shall have what they choose (1Corinthians 3:21-22, Matthew 16:19, 16:24-28). Life or death, the choice is yours. What’s on your shopping list? Those that come short of life and happiness must thank themselves; they would have had it if they had chosen it when it was put to their choice: but they die because they will die; that is they do not like the life promised upon the terms proposed. (Matthew Henry Commentary) So what will your choice be? Whose will, will you seek and fulfill? Something to ponder dearly loved. God bless and have a prosperous day in Christ Jesus our Lord. We all have a shopping list of some sort, whether we write it down or not it is still on our minds, although there are times that we forget because we have not written it down. Our mind can only hold so much information, but the heart is the storage place. When the mind is looking to recall something it seeks the heart to see if it is there and can be retrieved.
Now our Father said that He would supply all of our need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. And we have been given the mind of Christ, a mind that is in union with the heart of God where all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are located. God has a shopping list already written down in the heart, those things that He would have His people go seeking after in His realm which is Spiritual, where all our answers to the issues of this life and answers to those things which are to come are located. Although we have a shopping list with many things that are on it, it can’t be fulfilled unless we do something. To have our shopping list fulfilled we need to ask, but it needs to be according to our Father’s will. We need to line up our list with His Word since there may be things on it that can be crossed off for they are not needed, or may be found to be harmful to us, or are found that we already have it. Now, how often do we sit down with our shopping list (supplication) and seek Father (prayer) for that which we have need of (to bring forth life) and then give thanks for the provisions that we know will come whether they are physical or Spiritual? Philippians 4:6-7 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. (7) And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. (KJV) Remember, you have not because you ask not. Make sure that what you are seeking lines up with our Father’s will, because if it is not His will you will be asking amiss and you know that He will not fulfill that which is harmful to you. So what is it that you are shopping for today? God’s will, or your will; His ways, or your ways; His thoughts, or your thoughts? Are you seeking those things above where Christ sitteth on the right hand side of the Father? When it is His will that you are seeking to have supplied, His peace will keep your heart and mind through Christ Jesus. God bless and have a prosperous day in Christ Jesus our Lord. Exodus 25:8 And let them make me a sanctuary; that I may dwell among them. (9) According to all that I shew thee, after the pattern of the tabernacle, and the pattern of all the instruments thereof, even so shall ye make it. (KJV)
[Let them make me a sanctuary] miqdaash (OT:4720), "a holy place," such as God might dwell in; this was that part of the tabernacle that was called the most holy place, into which the high priest entered only once a year, on the great day of atonement. [That I may dwell among them.] "This," says Mr. Ainsworth, "was the main end of all; and to this all the particulars are to be referred, and by this they are to be opened. For this sanctuary, as Solomon's temple afterward, was the place of prayer, and of the public service of God, Lev 17:4-6; Matt 21:13, and it signified the church which is the habitation of God through the Spirit, 2 Cor 6:16; Eph 2:19-22; Rev 21:2-3; and was a visible sign of God's presence and protection, Lev 26:11-12; Ezek 37:27-28; 1 Kings 6:12-13, and of his leading them to His heavenly glory. For as the high priest entered into the tabernacle, and through the veil into the most holy place where God dwelt; so Christ entered into the holy of holies, and we also enter through the veil, that is to say his flesh. See the use made of this by the apostle, Heb 9 and 10. Thus, the sanctuary is to be applied as a type: 1. To Christ's person, Heb 8:2; 9:11-12; John 2:19-21. 2. To every Christian, 1 Cor 6:19. 3. To the church, both particular, Heb 3:6; 1 Tim 3:15; and universal, Heb 10:21: and it was because of the very extensive signification of this building, that the different things concerning this sanctuary are particularly set down by Moses, and so variously applied by the prophets and by the apostles."-See Ainsworth. As the dwelling in this tabernacle was the highest proof of God's grace and mercy toward the Israelites, so it typified Christ's dwelling by faith in the hearts of believers, and thus giving them the highest and surest proof of their reconciliation to God, and of his love and favour to them; see Eph 1:22; 3:17. (from Adam Clarke's Commentary) What do you see; what do you hear in these verses? Ponder this; in the beginning, God laid out the pattern of the tabernacle and all the instruments thereof. God created us in their image and after their likeness, His pattern, His tabernacle, His instruments. Now with the fall of mankind, God covered up this pattern to protect it from the muck and mire of our fallen nature, but in His loving kindness He also made a way for us to clean up the muck and mire in our lives and have the pattern uncovered so that we could follow it according to His specifications and not man’s. Jesus Christ is the only way to see the true pattern that God intended for us to follow that would reveal a life eternal in the heavens and create a sanctuary well pleasing in His sight and fit for Him to continually dwell in. 2 Corinthians 5:1 For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. (KJV) So I encourage you, today, continue to be God’s instrument of righteousness, His pattern of the tabernacle which He created in the beginning; shewing forth in your own life His grace and mercy for all mankind, that possibly, one more might seek and desire a new life in Christ, a new pattern to follow. God bless and have a prosperous day in Christ Jesus our Lord. Ephesians 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. (KJV) Colossians 3:14 And above all things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness. (KJV)
[Which is the bond of perfectness] Love to God and man is not only to cover all (1Peter 4:8, James 5:20), but also to unite and consolidate the whole (Eph 4:1-6), It is therefore represented here under the notion of a girdle (of truth Eph 6:14, 3John 1:4), by which all the rest of the clothing (Eph 6:14-17) is bound close about the body. (from Adam Clarke Commentary) If you have ever seen a pattern to make clothing there are many pieces that have to be sewn together to make the whole. Each piece is unique and needs to jointly fit together. It is like the body of Christ. Each of us is unique and only God knows which part of the body He created us to be. That is why it says that He sets us within the body as He see fit, not as we think. He created the pattern and only He knows how it needs to be put together. Out of love God created the pattern for us to follow after, that being Jesus Christ. And if we follow after the example that He left us then we are able to take His pattern of love and piece it together within us. Truth is the thread and love is the needle and when used together the pattern of a godly life in right standing with our Father in Heaven is put together one piece at a time to make us whole and complete in Christ, nothing lacking. At the same time that we are being pieced together, God is sewing us into the body of Christ where He would have us to be. The more we allow the Lord to work within us and our life (sewing us together), the more we will be able to see the pattern of love and how the body of Christ is being put together and where our Father in Heaven has placed us as well. Love is the bond of perfectness (completeness). So let this pattern of love be sewn together in you as it is in Christ Jesus and in all things shewing a pattern of good works: in doctrine shewing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity. Titus 2:7 And above all make your own life a pattern of right conduct, having in your teaching no taint of insincerity, but a serious tone, (Weymouth translation) Titus 2:7 [In doctrine showing uncorruptness] Mixing nothing with the truth; taking nothing from it; adding nothing to it; and exhibiting it in all its connection, energy, and fullness. (Adam Clarke Commentary) In doctrine; what doctrine? The doctrine of Christ, the pure word of God manifest within each of us as we allow it to be. This is what we should be walking and abiding in at all times. Being an example of the believers in all manner of life; not only in word, but in deed and in truth. The pattern of good works is within each of us, and if we follow it we will be pure and uncorrupt in doctrine before God and man. So today, let your manner of life be in sincerity and in truth; a pattern of love and good works bound together in the doctrine of Christ which is known and read of all men. God bless and have a prosperous day in Christ Jesus our Lord. John 1:31-34 And I knew him not: but that he should be made manifest to Israel, therefore am I come baptizing with water. 32 And John bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him. 33 And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, upon whom thou shall see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizes with the Holy Ghost. 34 And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God. (KJV)
The Spirit that John saw as a confirmation that he was dealing with the Son of God was the Spirit of Christ which was abiding in Jesus of Nazareth. Without having the Spirit of Christ within this man Jesus, just like us he could not be a partaker of God’s divine nature. This same Spirit would like to baptize you into the truth so that you can know who the Son of God is and what name He goes by. In fact the enemy has a new name also, because he is doing all he can to steer God’s people from this revelation. I John 2:18-20 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time. 19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us. 20 But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things. (KJV) Ever wonder why it is antichrist and not antiJesus? Well the enemy found those who believe in this name, the name which is above all names, are a real threat to his kingdom because they know who the Son of God is. It’s no accident or coincidence that he will do all he can to keep the Church from accessing all the wisdom and power that is available in Christ. I John 4:1-3 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. 2 Hereby know you the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: 3 And every spirit that confesses not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. (KJV) A simple test will reveal who is a false prophet, because you will be able to see beyond the flesh and into the Spirit. What you will find is that if they don’t have a working knowledge of Christ, then they have no business claiming to be a part of His kingdom, let alone one of His prophets. The enemy will do all he can to keep the Church from accessing this name and all that accompanies it. 1 Corinthians 1:23-24 But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumbling block, and unto the Greeks foolishness; 24 But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God. (KJV) By not knowing Christ you are taking a lot off the table, that being the power and wisdom of God that we have access to through His name. No wonder the enemy is putting up such a fuss and has been tagged as antichrist. Matthew 7:21-23 Not everyone that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? And in thy name have cast out devils? And in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. (KJV) Obviously there are many others who don’t know who the Son of God is because as we see above they didn’t know His name; thus why we see the question marks in verse 22. It’s time to eliminate those question marks, because if you don’t know who He is, He won’t know who you are. You wouldn’t allow a stranger into your house would you? Well, neither does He. God bless dearly loved and have a prosperous day in Christ Jesus our Lord. Matthew 16:13-15 When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, who do men say that I the Son of man am? 14 And they said, some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremiah, or one of the prophets. 15 He saith unto them, But who say ye that I am? (KJV)
The theme of this week has been I knew him not, which even John the Baptist admitted to. As we see above there were others who didn’t know who the Son is either, until they had a personal revelation. Matthew 16:16-18 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. 17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. 18 And I say also unto thee, that thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. (KJV) Today we have as many names given to the Son as we have denominations. However, our Lord pinpointed the correct response; and given the fact that He is the same yesterday, today, and forever I would say this is important to know. The Lord asked this question for a reason, so that those that knew this name would have a rock solid spiritual foundation to build upon. 2 Corinthians 3:14-15 But their minds were blinded: for until this day remains the same veil untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which veil is done away in Christ. 15 But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the veil is upon their heart. (KJV) Today that same veil is upon the heart of many who are standing in pulpits claiming to know God. Without a personal knowledge of who they are in Christ, they will continue to remain in the dark and separated from the truth that would set them free. 2 Corinthians 3:16-18 Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the veil shall be taken away. 17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. 18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord. (KJV) When you turn to the Lord and away from what man claims is truth, that is where you will find liberty, and who you are in Christ. Without this knowledge you will be just like John the Baptist who knew Jesus the Son of man after the outward, but was not able to correctly identify who Christ the Son of God is. Ephesians 3:3-5 How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words, 4 Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ) 5 Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit; (KJV) You know there was not much of a mystery to Jesus of Nazareth, many could easily identify with him according to the flesh. The mystery involves the realm of the Spirit and as you see it is only revealed to God’s people by His Spirit. 1 Corinthians 2:9-12 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. 10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searches all things, yea, the deep things of God. 11 For what man knows the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? Even so the things of God knows no man, but the Spirit of God. 12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. (KJV) Church quit settling for what the majority settles for and search the scriptures for yourself. What you will find is that when you see the term reveal, or revelation you will see it involves Christ, the Son of God. God bless dearly loved and have a prosperous day in Christ Jesus our Lord. (KJV)
Today the Son of God is baptizing His people with the Holy Ghost. Those that don’t know who the Son of God truly is are still playing childish religious games claiming you still need to be water baptized. If you truly desire to move forward in your walk then you need to see in the Spirit and let the Lord reveal to you who the Son is and what name He goes by. (KJV) The reality is that no man can know who God is or His Son unless they are willing to receive this revelation first hand from above. Many today only give credence to Jesus the man, but are unable to identify with Christ who is the Son of God that was dwelling within. Until you receive this revelation personally you won’t know who God is and you will never know what your place is in the body of Christ. Colossians 2:2-3 That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ; 3 In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. (KJV) You will find consistently throughout the New Testament that when you see terms like hid and reveal it always involves Christ. Christ is the Son who is revealing all the treasures of spiritual wisdom and knowledge that we have access to because of His sacrifice. Colossians 1:9-10 For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; 10 That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; (KJV) My prayer for the Church is that they go beyond the realm of the flesh and into the Spirit so that they can get to know who the Son of God really is. I pray that you don’t just settle for someone else’s interpretation of the gospel, but instead that you would see and understand spiritually all that is available to you in Christ. Don’t rely on mans’ knowledge when God has made His available to you personally. Ephesians 1:17-20 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: 18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what the hope of his calling is, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, 19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, 20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, (KJV) When you see and allow the Lord to reveal who the Son of God is you find it is an eye opening experience that allows you to see beyond the realm of the flesh and into the Spirit. This is when you will truly experience the greatness of His power instead of relying on your own. God bless dearly loved and have a prosperous day in Christ Jesus our Lord. John 1:30-34 This is he of whom I said, after me cometh a man which is preferred before me: for he was before me. 31 And I knew him not: but that he should be made manifest to Israel, therefore am I come baptizing with water. (KJV)
Today the Son of God is no longer manifesting Himself in just the outward; you will need to look beyond the realm of the flesh to get the inside scoop on who the Son of God is. At least John had an excuse for not knowing for sure who the Son of God was because he was not born again. For the Church today there is no excuse for not knowing who the Son of God really is and what name He goes by. This week we will look beyond the flesh and into the Spirit to find the answer to this mystery. 2 Corinthians 5:16-17 Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more. 17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold all things are become new. (KJV) The reality is that you really can’t get to know someone for who they really are until you can see beyond who they are on the outside. We have been warned about many false prophets who have risen up and are deceiving not just a few, but many of God’s people. You will never know who you really are either until you get to know the Lord for who He really is, then He in turn will show you who you are in Him. 2 Corinthians 11:13-15 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. 14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. 15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works. (KJV) It’s amazing when you see and get to know the Lord personally how many wannabe’s and pretenders there are out and about pulling the wool over the eyes of gullible sheep. Many profess to know God; but for those that have had the Lord reveal himself to them personally, they see right through the phony facades of the enemy and his so called prophets and apostles. Mark 7:5-7 Then the Pharisees and scribes asked him, why walk not thy disciples according to the tradition of the elders, but eat bread with unwashed hands? 6 He answered and said unto them, well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, this people honors me with their lips, but their heart is far from me. 7 Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. (KJV) Once you have come to a working knowledge of who you are in Christ and the only doctrine He acknowledges as truth, you can easily discern those that are not of God. Many who are still in the flesh claim to honor God with their religious doctrines, however, their heart is far from the truth. II John 1:9-10 Whosoever transgresses, and abides not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abides in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. 10 If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: (KJV) The doctrine of Christ goes beyond the veil of the flesh and reveals who the Son of God is. The doctrine of Christ is the only one our Lord gives credence to. If you are bidding god speed to anything other than what is coming straight from the throne of God through His Son, you will find it has eternal consequences if you continue down this dead end path. God bless dearly loved and have a prosperous day in Christ Jesus our Lord. |
