Good day. Today's video Who Knows? is on the topic of: Who knows? In the previous study (They Knew) we saw who opposed the Lord Jesus Christ when he walked this earth, the chief priests, scribes, the religious leaders, they denied that Jesus was the Christ and delivered him to be crucified because of envy; and as we also saw the devils knew he was the Christ, so why didn’t they? Today, we see the same thing spiritually, those who oppose the Lord, those who deny Christ the Son of the living God; they know Jesus, but they don’t know the truth that is in him; they have a form of godliness but deny the power (1 Corinthians 1:24) thereof: from such turn away (2 Timothy 3:5). Jesus asked the disciples in Matthew 16:13-20 "Who do men say that I the Son of man am?" and they gave several answers; then he asked them "But who say you that I am?" and Peter answered "Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God"; and Jesus responded "Blessed art thou, Simon Bar-jona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven and upon this rock (Christ; 1Corinthians 10:4) I will build my church and the gates of hell will not prevail against it." Without the revelation of the Son, you will not know the Father. Matthew 11:27 All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him. (KJV) It is the truth that will make you free and keep you free indeed (reality). Many know Jesus the man after the flesh, few know Jesus the Christ after the Spirit of Christ within them; those who are led by the Spirit of God they are the sons of God. Who knows Christ and who they are in him? It is given unto you to know the mystery of the kingdom of God. It is given, a free gift wrapped up in grace and in truth and revealed to those who seek to know the only true God and Jesus Christ whom he sent. Paul wrote, in Acts 2:36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ. (KJV) There are many false prophets, workers of iniquity, antichrists, who deny Christ, the Son of the living God, who is the power of God and the wisdom of God; and with damnable heresies and doctrines they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame and teach others likewise; they are blind leaders, blindly leading the blind (those who have NOT sought to know Christ and who they are in Him), down the same path of destruction by denying the Son whom God sent. 1 John 4:1-3 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. (KJV) 1 John 2:18-23 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time. They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us. But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things. I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth. Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: but he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also. (KJV) This does not have to be so for you. When you were born again you were baptized with the Holy Spirit and with fire. Just as Jesus of Nazareth, you were given the measure (fullness) of faith; you were given the Spirit without measure; your cup runs over with the fullness of the gift of Christ in you the hope of glory; you have the mind of Christ; so now this is the time to seek to know the Son and the Father allowing the Spirit to lead and guide you into all truth so that you can stand before the judgement seat of Christ knowing them, and as well they knowing you. And who does the spirit of antichrist come against? Those who know Christ (the Son of the living God) and who they are in him. Who knows? Hopefully you will be able to answer this question for yourself and be able to say, "I do". For it is given unto you to know the mystery of the kingdom of God, as the truth is in Jesus. Today's video Clean Escape is on the topic of: Clean escape from the corruption that is in this world through lust and from them who live in error. When we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, we are baptized with the Holy Ghost and with fire. We are now the temple of the living God, and we are clean and swept, purged from our sins and transgressions, and the worldly residue is burned up with unquenchable fire; for our God is a consuming fire. Old things are passed away, behold all things are become new. God delivered us from this present evil world and translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son, Christ Jesus our Lord. God sent his word (Christ) into our hearts and healed us and delivered us from our destructions. We have been given a new heart and a new mind to operate in the realm of the Spirit. And if we continue in his word, the word of God, we shall know the truth and the truth shall make us free. John 17:17 Sanctify (purify) them through thy truth: thy word is truth. (KJV) 1 Peter 1:17-23 (KJV) And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man's work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear: Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you, Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God. Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently: Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever. Galatians 3:16 ...And to thy seed, which is Christ. (KJV) There are many false prophets in the world, antichrists (those who deny Christ), wolves in sheep's clothing, professing to know God but in works deny him; and they are the many who corrupt the word of God for money (the love of money is the root of all evil) or advantage. They are more focused on tithes and offerings that will sustain them, than they are for the upkeep of your spiritual temple, the temple of the living God, whom you are. And sad to say, but many are following their corrupt ways because their heart has become blinded by the god of this world, and they are no longer able to discern between good and evil because they have not taken the time to know the truth that set them free, and have become dependent on someone else to teach them instead of allowing the Holy Spirit of God to lead and guide them into all truth. And when you, yourself, become more focused on the cares of this life, the deceitfulness of riches, and lusts of other things you rob God in tithes and offerings, not the physical matters, but the spiritual upkeep of his temple which is his residence within you. You rob God the opportunity to help you and give you the strength to overcome whatever it may be that is hindering you, or harassing you, and distracting you from continuing in the faith and enduring unto the end and receive eternal life. Yes, we are in this world, and have to deal with everyday life, but we have the grace of God our Father and our Lord Jesus Christ to help in time of need. He doesn't desire your money, he desires your whole heart, soul, and mind, and your time; so, take no thought for your life, and cast all of your care unto God and let him do the caring for you, and seek to please and serve him and worship him in spirit and in truth. Today's video Can You Relate? is on the topic of: Can you relate to the image (Christ) and likeness (resemblance, a representation) of God? Are you dead to sin, buried with Christ in baptism where your life is hid in God, or still in bondage (a prisoner) to sin? As Christ was preaching through Noah (a preacher of righteousness) to those who in the days of Noah were in bondage to sin to turn from their wicked ways and enter into the physical ark of salvation, so is Christ preaching through the life of Jesus Christ of Nazareth and through his holy apostles and prophets, to those who are now in bondage to sin to turn from their wicked ways and enter into the spiritual ark of salvation and be saved. 1 Peter 3:18-22 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit: By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison; Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water. (KJV) You have to die to your old nature to live in the realm of the Spirit; so, when you are dead to sin, then you will be able to hear the voice of the Son of God and live. Today's video Word Association is on the topic of: Communion, circumcision, and baptism; when you hear these words what first comes to mind, what do you associate them with? Many today still associate these words with the law of Moses, and the baptism of John the Baptist, in which these carnal ordinances were imposed upon the children of Israel until the day of reformation and baptism of repentance for the remission of sins, but now have been fulfilled by God through the sending of his Son, Jesus Christ, who through his life, death, and resurrection (his baptism) having put to death in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances. Our communion (fellowship, association, joint participation, to communicate) is not with wafers, or grape juice, or with men and their doctrines, but it is in joint participation in the Spirit of Christ and with God our Father worshipping him in spirit and in truth. Our circumcision is not of an outward ritual imposed by men who hold to the law of commandments, but it is of the heart (Deuteronomy 10:16 & 30:6; Colossians 2:8-23), Romans 2:28-29 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.(KJV); Galatians 6:12-15 As many as desire to make a fair shew in the flesh, they constrain you to be circumcised; only lest they should suffer persecution for the cross of Christ. For neither they themselves who are circumcised keep the law; but desire to have you circumcised, that they may glory in your flesh. But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world. For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature.(KJV). Our baptism is not of men, being dunked in water so that they may glory in our flesh, but it is after Christ, for we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life (Read Romans 6:3-11). In conclusion, when we were born again, baptized with the Holy Ghost and with fire, our communion with the Father through his Son, Jesus Christ, is to be in spirit and in truth, in a new and living intimate way, through the circumcision of our heart unto Christ, buried with Christ by baptism, that is our old nature, for we are dead and our life is hid with Christ in God. Today's video Liquid Assets is on the topic of: We have a wellspring of life available unto us that is gushing forth from the throne of God our Father and of the Lamb, his Son Jesus Christ our Lord; a well of water springing up into everlasting life, spiritual liquid assets so to speak. To be able to draw from these waters you need to draw near unto God through his Son Jesus Christ and He will draw near unto you; you need to dig into the word of God, like digging a well, to get to these living waters that are life sustaining to our walk in the Spirit. He will enlighten the eyes of your understanding to continually drink of the well of water of life, which is in Christ. For by one Spirit we are baptized into one body, the body of Christ, and we have been made to drink into one Spirit, one well of life-giving water, Christ in you the hope of glory. There are many tainted wells out there (teaching the traditions and doctrines of men), and there are many which are drinking of those wells unaware of where the water is coming from, which is why we are encouraged to dig our own well (work out our own salvation with fear and trembling; for it is God who works in you both to will and to do of His good pleasure), and drink from the pure river of life that is crystal clear, full of spirit and truth, coming directly out of the throne of God and of the Lamb (Jesus Christ) and where you don't need man's interpretation of God's Word as God our Father by his Son Jesus Christ, has given unto his Holy Spirit, who will teach you, and lead and guide you into all truth, the crystal clear waters of life flowing through you into eternal life. Being born again is being baptized into Christ, which is spiritual. John 3:3-7 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. (KJV) Luke 3:16 John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire: (KJV) Acts 2:1-4 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. (KJV) Being born again and baptism are one in the same. When you accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior you were buried with Him in baptism and raised, born again, a spiritual being (new creation) in Christ. So there is one baptism (Ephesians 4:5) that God accepts, and that is being baptized into his Son, born again not of the corruptible seed, but of the incorruptible seed, which is Christ; your new birth into the realm of the Spirit. Old things are now passed away, behold all things are become new. Romans 6:4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. (KJV) Now if you have been planted together in the likeness of His death, I pray that you will be also in the likeness of His resurrection. Taking up your cross daily, dying to self (i.e. the old nature and its wants and desires), being raised up, and following Him in newness of life today. 2 Corinthians 4:7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us. (KJV) The only way to know the buried treasure is to lose your life for His sake, and then you shall find it. You die daily and you are raised daily. Each day or moment is new, yesterday is gone, tomorrow is not yet come, so you have today to take up your cross and let the world be crucified unto you, and you unto the world and its ways as in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ who is our example. You have today to choose to continue in the faith and become grounded and settled, and not be moved away from the hope of the gospel of your salvation, which is Christ. You have this treasure within you; and the treasure which you have been blessed with is Christ in you the hope of glory, the wisdom and power of God, the salvation of your soul, and He has the keys which give you access to the kingdom of God within you so that you are able to overcome and remain seated with Him at the right hand of God forever. John 17:24-26 Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world. 25 O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me. 26 And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them. (KJV) Dearly loved, your baptism into Christ, being born again, is spiritual and it is personal. Let no man glory in your flesh, but let them glory in the Lord that you have been raised from a dead end life into a new life in Christ where you have access to all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. Today's video Great Cloud is on the topic of the fact that we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. (KJV) All scripture is given by God and is profitable unto us in every aspect of our walk through this wilderness (the world) on our way to the promised land (eternal life). We have been given a great cloud of witnesses; all those who went before us; the greatest of these being our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, the author and finisher of faith. Hebrews 12:1-2 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. (KJV) The scriptures testify of Christ from the beginning: the mystery hidden from the beginning of the world by the cloud that led Israel through the wilderness by day (given living water by the rock that followed them, which rock was Christ) and a pillar of fire by night, which lightened their way; but now it has been revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit, the cloud raining down on us the living waters through many witnesses that we might know the only true God and Jesus Christ whom he sent to be the way, the truth and the life that we are to follow after having the eyes of our understanding enlightened by the light of the glorious gospel of Christ shining in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ by us, so that those also who follow after may come to the knowledge of the truth, and remain baptized into Christ by the cloud and by fire through the wilderness of this world so that they too may inherit the promised land, eternal life in Christ our Lord.
