Today's video Say What? is on the topic of every idle (useless or unemployed word that we speak we will give account unto God for. It's not just what we say, it's what we do. "So speak ye and so do", being a doer of the word of God and not just a hearer only. Let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth. Today's video Should Receive is on the topic of what we should be receiving, doing, and confessing; the kingdom of God and his righteousness. Matthew 7:21-23 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. (22) Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? (23) And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. (KJV) John 5:43 I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive. (KJV) John 4:10 Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water. (KJV) Do you truly know who and what you received when you were born again? You should know, for it is given unto you to know the mystery of the kingdom of God (Mark 4:11). Read Luke 24:13-53. Have you asked? We should be going unto God our Father through His Son Jesus Christ and asking Him to guide us by His Holy Spirit into all truth; and then be open to receive what He enlightens the eyes of our understanding unto. Coming to Him as a child with our hearts open, ready to receive what He has prepared for us to know. 1 John 3:22-23 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight. (23) And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment. (KJV) John 1:11-14 He came unto his own, and his own received him not. (12) But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: (13) Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. (14) And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. (15) John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me. (16) And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace. (17) For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. (KJV) Read Acts 1:8, Romans 1:16, 1Corinthians 1:24 & 30. Do you truly know what name you should be professing? You should know, for there is no other name given under heaven whereby we must be saved, and that name is Jesus Christ (Acts 4:10-12). This is the name that will make you whole spirit, soul, and body. It is the name that gets you access to the throne of God to receive mercy and grace in time of need; and to receive the mystery of His kingdom. No other name will get you access to the kingdom of God that is within you. Why do you receive the witness of men, but not the witness of God which is greater (1 John 5:9-15)? Matthew 11:27 (KJV) All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him. (KJV) Do you truly know who you should be confessing (acknowledging)? You should know. For He is the power and wisdom of God; and He is the power of God unto salvation to those who believe; and He is the only one who can reveal the Father unto you. You should be open to the revelation of the mystery of the gospel. Are you? Or will you hold more to the traditions and doctrines that men have taught you? Are you willing to let go of what men have taught you concerning God and His Son? You should be receiving the witness of God which is greater! Luke 12:8-12 Also I say unto you, Whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God: (9) But he that denieth me before men shall be denied before the angels of God. (10) And whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but unto him that blasphemeth against the Holy Ghost it shall not be forgiven. (11) And when they bring you unto the synagogues, and unto magistrates, and powers, take ye no thought how or what thing ye shall answer, or what ye shall say: For the Holy Ghost shall teach you in the same hour what ye ought to say. (KJV) 1 John 2:22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. (KJV) Philippians 2:8-12 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. (9) Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: (10) That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; (11) And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. (KJV) John 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. (KJV) John 4:22-26 Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews. (23) But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. (24) God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. (25) The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things. (26) Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am he. (KJV) John 20:30-31 And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book: (31) But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name. (KJV) You should not receive the witness of men, but the witness of God which is greater concerning His Son. And when you receive the revelation concerning His Son, and the name He acknowledges as His, then walk in that truth and liberty; And you will remain free to receive all that God has prepared for those who love Him. God bless and keep that name within you. Good morning. Today's video The Son - Part13 is on the topic of who the Son of God is; the body is of Christ. Dearly loved of God our Father and our Lord Jesus Christ, and of us; we have been baptized into Christ by the Holy Spirit. We were grafted into the true vine, which is Christ, by our Father in Heaven who is the husbandman who sets every branch in the vine. You can be grafted in when you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior; and you can be cutoff due to unbelief just as the natural branches were. So don’t take for granted your place in the vine and boast against the other branches. Now as Christ is that true vine, He is the head of the body; the body of Christ of which we are all members one of another, and should have the same care one of another. God has placed each member in the body where He sees fit and it is up to each of us to find out what our place is and how to operate where He has placed us to the edification of the rest of the body. Ephesians 4:11-16 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love. (KJV) Now that doesn’t mean that when God placed us in the body in the beginning that, that is where He would have us to remain. As we grow up into Christ, and remain faithful in all our house (spirit, soul, and body) He may move us to another part of the body to fill up that which may be lacking so that the body can remain fitly joined together, compacted by that which every joint supplies, as working effectually in the measure of faith, that the body may increase (that He may increase, and we, our old nature may decrease) unto the edifying of itself in love. The more we allow Christ to remain our Head, the more the body becomes likeminded; serving one another in love; and to love is to lay down our lives for the body (dying to self). 1 John 3:16-18 Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him? My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth. (KJV) The rest of our time on this earth, abiding in Christ in the Spirit, is no longer about us, but about the Head, Christ, and His body of believers. Do you want to be an effective member of the body? Then begin with getting to know who your Head is; take up your cross, crucifying your old nature, and follow Him growing in grace and in the knowledge of who He is and where He would have you to operate each day in the body to the edification of the body. That when He presents His Church, His body, unto God you will be a part of it, Holy and un-blamable in God’s sight. Our ministry is of Christ, as the body is of Christ. Remember, a body without a head is dead; and so will we be if we do not keep Christ as the Head of our body remaining grafted in the true vine; we will be as the branches cut off and cast forth unto men and burned. God bless and remain in the body which is of Christ. You can view all previous videos by going to our YouTube channel Doctrine of Christ Ministry. Have a blessed and prosperous day in Christ Jesus our Lord. Good morning. Today's video The Son - Part12 is on the topic of who the Son of God is; the cross of Christ. Dear Church, loved of God our Father, and our Lord Jesus Christ, are you dying to get to Heaven? Paul the apostle said he died daily. 1 Corinthians 15:31 I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily. (KJV) We were given an example by our Lord Jesus Christ of dying daily as He did to the fleshly lusts and desires so that He could be resurrected a new man upright and well pleasing in God’s sight. The Lord Jesus took up His spiritual cross daily, not just the physical cross that happened once that everyone knows about, but daily He died that we might live, thus why the scriptures refer to the cross of Christ. He humbled himself and laid aside the lusts of the flesh, but not without suffering, and followed the Spirit of Christ within Him. Learned He obedience by the things which He suffered; having been tempted in every manner as we are and yet sinned not (Hebrews 2:18; 4:14-16). Philippians 2:5-8 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. (KJV) Hebrews 5:7-10 Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared; Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered; And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him; (KJV) Have you taken up your spiritual cross, nailing the lusts of the flesh to it through obedience on a daily basis, and suffering for Christ’s sake? Taking up our cross involves dying to self, daily crucifying the old man which was born into sin (of the flesh) so that we are able to resurrect into the new man which was born into the righteousness of God (of the Spirit), Christ in us the hope of glory. Salvation is not a one and done; each day we make the choice to take up our cross and follow the leading of the Holy Spirit in obedience. We have a choice to suffer and follow Christ or to take the path of least resistance and follow the lusts of the flesh and the world thereof. Romans 6:4-14 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. For he that is dead is freed from sin. Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him: Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him. For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God. Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord. Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof. Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God. For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace. (KJV) Sin is destroyed when we choose to be obedient to the leading and guiding of the Holy Spirit. But remember sin can revive through temptation when we are drawn away of our own lusts, and enticed; then when lust has conceived it brings forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, brings forth death (James 1:14-15), which is separation from God our Father. Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (KJV) But thanks be to God for His grace who has given us a great high priest, an advocate, on our behalf, Jesus Christ our Lord who is the only way to restore peace with the Father. There is no peace with God our Father without abiding (remaining) in Christ, and Christ abiding in us; the cross of Christ. So dearly loved, take up the cross of Christ and live. James 1:2-4 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; (3) Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. (4) But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. (KJV)
Have you ever seen a parent chasing a child, especially a toddler that is just learning to walk and wants to explore a bit? Oh, that child just seems to take off in the most dangerous direction, many times thinking something looks more interesting there. We as Christians get like that also, especially in our youth, something looks interesting and we are off and running exploring areas the Lord is not leading us in. Just like with the parent chasing down the child, it is not that they were trying to hold back something from them, no matter how interesting it looked, but rather were asking for them to wait before proceeding in an area they were not familiar with and could end up hurt in. Those that have matured in Christ, which is what letting patience have its perfect work is, have learned it is much easier staying yoked with Him and not getting ahead of Him. A good time to be patient, not that there is a bad time, is during a trial of our faith so that we can hear the Lord’s instruction and continue in His perfect will, lacking nothing, which includes confidence. Hebrews 10:35-37 Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward. (36) For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise. (37) For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry. (KJV) Whoa! Stop! You made your request to the Lord now wait for it to manifest. The Lord heard you the first time you made it, now it is a matter of waiting, that patience stuff again. Yet a little while, the answer is coming and it will not be too late or delayed (which is what the word tarry means) as your mind keeps telling you, but rather in due season on time, the Lord’s perfect timing. Oh but what about the deadline, well that’s just what it is, a deadline, one you need to let go of and grab the lifeline instead. Hebrews 10:38-39 Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. (39) But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul. (KJV) What are you hearing right now, what is the message of faith the Lord asked you to grab hold of and not let go of? Not what your mind is telling you is going to happen, you know, like the worst case scenario we used to live by; but what is that Word that built you up and gave you the confidence in the first place telling you; is it still the one you will be holding to in the end? Again the Lord is saying, wait for me, don’t take off, quit drawing back to your own understanding but continue in the faith, believing that what the Lord promised He would deliver as well. It is our Father’s good pleasure to give you His kingdom, but how can you receive it if you are not there when it is given, but are off and running looking for an alternate answer? Romans 5:3-5 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; (4) And patience, experience; and experience, hope: (5) And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. (KJV) Williams New Testament translation of Romans 5:3-5 3. And not only that, but this too: let us continue exulting in our sufferings, for we know that suffering produces endurance, 4. and endurance, tested character, and tested character, hope, 5. and hope never disappoints us; for through the Holy Spirit that has been given us, God's love has flooded our hearts. When trials or tribulations arise for the Word’s sake it is not something we enjoy, but our first response is to look for a quick escape. We need to look before we leap though so that we don’t jump into something worse than what we are dealing with already. The more one can learn patience and let it have its perfect work the more they will be able to identify their way of escape when the answer manifests; as well as knowing it is the Lord’s answer and not some quick short term fix. Rather than looking for someone to blame and putting a physical face to a spiritual issue, the truth will set you free and allow the love of God to continue flowing through your heart like a river of living waters. Romans 15:4-6 For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope. (5) Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus: (6) That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. (KJV) The patience and comfort of God is in His word, thus the reason why we need to spend quality time in it on a daily basis in order to be a partaker of it. It’s when we get ahead of the Lord or lose sight of His promises that we get in a hurry and start getting uncomfortable with the outcome He promised us. As long as you stay in agreement with the Lord, being likeminded and of one accord, then you will be speaking with one mouth and not double tongued or talking out of both sides of it. Romans 8:24-25 For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for? (25) But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it. (KJV) If you rely on things you can see, things that are temporal, then you will not have the patience to wait on the Lord. Our Lord operates in a realm that is not seen. Faith is the substance of our belief which is located in the realm of the Spirit, hidden to the carnal mind but readily revealed to spiritual people. The more you look into the unseen realm, the more you will see your answer and patiently, confidently endure to the end. So today, are you holding more to the word of God and less to the fallen realm, or have you fallen back into the realm of the flesh because you didn’t wait for God’s answer to manifest? Here is something to look into, could you imagine your walk with the Lord if you learned His patience and only spoke His word no matter what the outward circumstances try to dictate? Now that would be worth looking into wouldn’t it? I hope you do. God bless and have a prosperous day in Christ Jesus our Lord. |
