Good day. Today's video Clean Escape is on the topic of: Clean escape from the corruption that is in this world through lust and from them who live in error. When we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, we are baptized with the Holy Ghost and with fire. We are now the temple of the living God, and we are clean and swept, purged from our sins and transgressions, and the worldly residue is burned up with unquenchable fire; for our God is a consuming fire. Old things are passed away, behold all things are become new. God delivered us from this present evil world and translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son, Christ Jesus our Lord. God sent his word (Christ) into our hearts and healed us and delivered us from our destructions. We have been given a new heart and a new mind to operate in the realm of the Spirit. And if we continue in his word, the word of God, we shall know the truth and the truth shall make us free. John 17:17 Sanctify (purify) them through thy truth: thy word is truth. (KJV) 1 Peter 1:17-23 (KJV) And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man's work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear: Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you, Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God. Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently: Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever. Galatians 3:16 ...And to thy seed, which is Christ. (KJV) There are many false prophets in the world, antichrists (those who deny Christ), wolves in sheep's clothing, professing to know God but in works deny him; and they are the many who corrupt the word of God for money (the love of money is the root of all evil) or advantage. They are more focused on tithes and offerings that will sustain them, than they are for the upkeep of your spiritual temple, the temple of the living God, whom you are. And sad to say, but many are following their corrupt ways because their heart has become blinded by the god of this world, and they are no longer able to discern between good and evil because they have not taken the time to know the truth that set them free, and have become dependent on someone else to teach them instead of allowing the Holy Spirit of God to lead and guide them into all truth. And when you, yourself, become more focused on the cares of this life, the deceitfulness of riches, and lusts of other things you rob God in tithes and offerings, not the physical matters, but the spiritual upkeep of his temple which is his residence within you. You rob God the opportunity to help you and give you the strength to overcome whatever it may be that is hindering you, or harassing you, and distracting you from continuing in the faith and enduring unto the end and receive eternal life. Yes, we are in this world, and have to deal with everyday life, but we have the grace of God our Father and our Lord Jesus Christ to help in time of need. He doesn't desire your money, he desires your whole heart, soul, and mind, and your time; so, take no thought for your life, and cast all of your care unto God and let him do the caring for you, and seek to please and serve him and worship him in spirit and in truth. You are clean escaped from this world through Jesus Christ, so brethren, stay clean, stay free, and don't omit spirit and truth. God bless and keep the faith. The Lord’s Table 08/16/2024 Church, many are not discerning the Lord’s body, and who is allowed to drink of the cup of the Lord and partake of his table. There are many false prophets and teachers as well as their damnable heresies out there corrupting the truth of the word of God and gospel of Christ. They have become like the world, therefore speak they of the world and the world hears them. You cannot serve God and mammon (money); and the love of money is the root of all evil. 1 Corinthians 10:21 Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of devils. (KJV) Romans 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; (KJV) Romans 1:19-32 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. (20) For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: (21) Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. (22) Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, (23) And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. (24) Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: (25) Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. (26) For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: (27) And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. (28) And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; (29) Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, (30) Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, (31) Without understanding, covenant breakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: (32) Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them. (KJV) Many religious organizations and leaders have corrupted the word of God for advantage sake. Whether it be for money, fear of men or governments, or seeking the praise of men more than the praise of God. They have errored from the truth and from the faith that was delivered unto us by Jesus Christ. They seek to please men more than God, and they have compromised with the world in fear of speaking the truth of God’s word. Church, we are in perilous times. There are false prophets and those of this world who say there is no hell and that everyone goes to heaven; and that is a hell of a doctrine! They say that it doesn’t matter what life you live, God loves and accepts everyone; anything goes, you can be who or want you want to be, you can do whatever you want to do, have whatever you want to have at any expense, love who you want to love, marry anyone you want to marry, you can murder the unborn child, you can mutilate your body (which by the way is not your own), you can change your God given body to another sex because you believe he made a mistake when he created you, or any other ungodliness or unrighteousness as written in Romans 1:18-32. These are smooth words that they speak to please the people so that they continue to support their ministry, their business, their beliefs. What they don’t tell you is that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God and are worthy of death; and so are those who have pleasure in them that do them. They are deceiving and being deceived; they are the servants of corruption. They are without excuse before God. It is a wide gate and broad path that leads to destruction (hell) and there are many on that path. Isaiah 30:8-11 Now go, write it before them in a table, and note it in a book, that it may be for the time to come for ever and ever: (9) That this is a rebellious people, lying children, children that will not hear the law of the LORD: (10) Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits: (11) Get you out of the way, turn aside out of the path, cause the Holy One of Israel to cease from before us. (KJV) 2 Peter 2:18-19 For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error. (19) While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage. (KJV) (Note: read all of 2Peter chapter 2) And the people that accept (compromise) and follow their pernicious ways are also without excuse before God. The truth is that God does love all his creation, but he does not love nor accept the sinful impulses or nature of mankind. It is a strait gate and narrow path that leads to eternal salvation with God our Father and our Lord Jesus Christ, and sad to say, there are few who find that path and stay on it. The truth hurts and many today don’t want the truth of God’s word because it convicts them of their sins, but rather they are choosing to believe a lie from the father of lies, the devil himself. They are overthrown in the wilderness of this world with worldly doctrines of demons. 1 Timothy 4:1-2 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; (2) Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; (KJV) Church, read your Bibles (preferably the King James Version, which is the original translation of the scriptures, as many of the other versions leave out Christ, and other words that change the meaning of the scriptures); make sure that what you hear from men agrees with God’s word, His truth. Ask God our Father in heaven to reveal the truth of His word unto you through the Holy Spirit. Let the eyes of your understanding be enlightened to His truth. The Holy Spirit will lead and guide you into all truth and show you things to come. And don’t compromise with the world and its ways; instead, continue to hold fast the profession of faith and to the truth of God’s word. Let God be true, but man the liar. 1 Peter 4:1-5 Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin; (2) That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God. (3) For the time past of our life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries: (4) Wherein they think it strange that ye run not with them to the same excess of riot, speaking evil of you: (5) Who shall give account to him that is ready to judge the quick and the dead. (KJV) You cannot serve sin and drink the cup of the Lord nor partake of his table. We are in this world, but we are not to be of this world. We are to come out from among them and be separate and touch not the unclean thing and God will receive us and be a Father unto us and we will be his sons and daughters (2 Corinthians 6:14-18). Yes, God has sent out the invitation to everyone to come and drink of the Lord’s cup and partake of the Lord’s table, but they have to accept the invitation which he has sent, Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and repent of their sins. This is what will allow them to partake of the kingdom and righteousness of God. John 3:16-21 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (17) For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. (18) He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. (19) And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. (20) For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. (21) But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God. (KJV) Revelation 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. (KJV) The Lord’s cup and the Lord’s table are for those who have accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and savior; and who have chosen to walk in the Spirit and not fulfill the lusts of their flesh, nor continue to walk in the way of the world; and have disowned the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling of the word of God deceitfully; those who have chosen to walk the straight and narrow path of life in Christ Jesus. You cannot serve the God of all creation and the god of this world; it puts you in a place of lukewarm which will also end in eternal damnation if you do. You are either for God or against him, there is no middle ground. The warnings are written and known, and yet, many choose to follow the world, and this includes the many religions, faiths, denominations, and their organizations. There are few who choose to hold fast to God’s truth; His word is truth. To be a Christian, is to be Christ like in spirit, soul, and body, in all manner of your life, seeking to please our Father in heaven instead of the world. For if we seek to please men we cannot be a servant of Christ. Ephesians 5:11-13 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. (12) For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret. (13) But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light. (KJV) 1 Corinthians 15:50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. (KJV) Ephesians 2:2-3 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: (3) Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others. (KJV) (Note: read all of Ephesians 2) Ephesians 4:17-19 This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind, (18) Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart: (19) Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness. (KJV) Ephesians 5:3-6 But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints; (4) Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks. (5) For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. (6) Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. (KJV) 1 John 2:15-17 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. (16) For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. (KJV) Jude 17-19 But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ; (18) How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts. (19) These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit. (KJV) (Note: read all of Jude) Revelation 21:7-8 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. (8) But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. (KJV) Revelation 22:14-15 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie. (KJV) Remember, there is one body (the body of Christ), and one Spirit, even as you are called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism (it is spiritual), one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. And those who are on the outside of the One, do not have a right to partake of the Lord’s cup nor his table, nor the tree of life, nor are they able to enter into the gates of the new Jerusalem. The world may say there is no hell, and there are no consequences for living a life of sin, or a life apart from God, but they will find themselves in a hellfire of a predicament come the day of judgment. And those religious organizations that say they are following God but compromise with the world and teach others to do the same will have the greater condemnation, and they too will find themselves in a hellfire of a predicament come the day of judgement. All “their” righteousness will end in the lake of fire. So Church, let God and his word be true, and man the liar. You have to overcome the world and its ways that you used to walk in, and it is a daily renewing of the mind in the word of God, and daily choosing to be a doer of that which our Father asks of you in obedience. And always seek the Lord for his answer to the issues of this life that come along. And for Christ’s sake, and God our Father’s don’t be like the rest of the world which lives in ungodliness and unrighteousness nor make compromise with them, or you may find out that you too have no right to partake of the Lord’s cup or table any longer. Today's video Forgive and Forget is on the topic of: Forgiveness and forgetfulness. When we sincerely seek forgiveness for sin through our Lord Jesus Christ, our heavenly Father is faithful and just to forgive us our sin and cleanse us from unrighteousness, as well as forget the sin ever happened (Isaiah 43:25). We have a forgetful Father; it is Satan who reminds us of our sin, which we too have to learn to forgive and forget as well. This is the blessing of the forgiveness of God. However, without the shedding of blood (cutting off of the flesh, the old nature, dieing to sin), there is no remission (forgiveness). You cannot be saved and continue in sin, you have to overcome sin by the leading and guiding of the Spirit of Christ within you, otherwise the consequence will be the Lord saying, "I never knew you, depart from me you worker of iniquity." When you accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior your name was written in the book of life, and if you keep his sayings and overcome the world within you, you will never see death (be subject to the second death Revelation 20:12-15). You have to begin in the Spirit and endure unto the end in the Spirit. However, if you do not keep his sayings and do not continue to live a godly life apart from the world and its ways, you may find out that you have been forgotten, your name blotted out of the book of life, because of the sin of unbelief in keeping, guarding, partaking, of his words of spirit and life unto the end. You cannot be blotted out of something if you were not already written there in the first place. Church, you may have walked into the kingdom of God, and no man can pluck you out of God's hand, but guess what, you can certainly walk out on your own as well; God does not violate our free will. It is your choice to continue in the forgiveness and forgetfulness of God, but you also have a choice to be forgotten if you continue in sin. Choose you this day whom you will serve; the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, or the god of your fathers. God bless and keep the faith. Romans 6:1-2 What shall we say then? As Christ was preaching through Noah (a preacher of righteousness) to those who in the days of Noah were in bondage to sin to turn from their wicked ways and enter into the physical ark of salvation, so is Christ preaching through the life of Jesus Christ of Nazareth and through his holy apostles and prophets, to those who are now in bondage to sin to turn from their wicked ways and enter into the spiritual ark of salvation and be saved. 1 Peter 3:18-22 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit: By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison; Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water. (KJV) You have to die to your old nature to live in the realm of the Spirit; so, when you are dead to sin, then you will be able to hear the voice of the Son of God and live. Today's video Personal Effects is on the topic of when you sin against the brethren, you sin against Christ; the effects are personal. Matthew 7:21-23 (KJV) Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. (22) Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? (23) And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. (KJV) Everything which is done to a follower of Christ, whether it be good or evil, the Lord considers as done to himself. We are to nourish and cherish the members of the body of Christ even as the Lord does the church, which we are if we abide in his love; for we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. Remember his prayer in John 17, specifically verses 20-23. (KJV) Romans 14:21 It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor any thing whereby thy brother stumbleth, or is offended, or is made weak. (KJV) James 3:1-2 My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation. (2) For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body. (KJV) Watch and pray always and consider what you say and what you do. Look not on your own things, but on the things of others; follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith you may edify another. Sanctify the Lord God in your hearts and be ready to give an answer to anyone who asks the reason of the hope that is within you, which hope is Christ (1 Timothy 1:1; Colossians 1:27). Ephesians 4:15-16 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: (16) From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love. (KJV) Ephesians 6:18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; (KJV) All members are needful, and God sets them in the body as he sees fit (read 1 Corinthians 12). If you or anyone else comes against any part of the body, you come against God and his Christ. The effects to the body are personal to our Father and our Lord Jesus Christ. So be aware that what we say or do can have a personal effect on the body of Christ; we are members one of another; and we are not our own. 1 Corinthians 12:18 But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him. (KJV) Romans 12:5 So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another. (KJV) 1 Corinthians 12:12 For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ. But there is still a remnant (few) who continue to hold forth the word of God in sincerity and in truth to the edification of the body of Christ and his glory. The personal effects are eternal; whether it be the sheep on the right hand of the Lord who have done the will of God, blessed of the Father, who will inherit the kingdom prepared for them from the foundation of the world, or whether it be the goats on the left who the Lord considers workers of iniquity and told them to depart from him into everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels. With what measure you mete; it shall be measured unto you again. As for us personally, we will continue to serve the Lord Jesus Christ, effectually ministering and holding forth the gospel of Christ in sincerity and in truth for his body’s sake and all those who shall believe on him through our word. Good morning. Today's video Captivity is on the topic of bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. Each day we have the choice to remain captive of the Lord at His will or allow ourselves to become captive of the devil at his will. Our thoughts brought us to where we are today; and they will bring us to where we are tomorrow. What are you thinking on? We are encouraged to bring into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ (we have the mind of Christ) and to cast down imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God. All things are lawful for us, but all things are not profitable to our salvation and growth in the wisdom and knowledge of God; all things are lawful for us, but all things do not build us up in faith and confidence in our Lord Jesus Christ. This includes our thoughts; although we have liberty in Christ, we are not to use our liberty as an occasion to fulfil the lusts of the flesh. Why do we say this? Because the carnal mind is enmity with God. And if you don’t bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ and cast down those things that are contrary to God, then how will you know whether it is of God or not; how will you be able to remain in the liberty which is in Christ and not be brought into bondage again to the traditions of men after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ? When a thought that is not of God is left to itself, not checked out or brought into captivity, it can lead to imaginations or temptation in other words, and draw you away of your own lust and entice you (remember we still have a carnal nature to overcome). Now you are left with a choice, cast down the imagination or act on the imagination; if you act on it, lust has conceived, it brings forth sin, and when sin is finished, it brings forth death; or enmity with God, and you are now captive at the devil’s will. This is why it is so important to renew our minds daily on the things of God so that we are able to rightly divide the word of truth having our spiritual senses exercised to discern between that which is of God, and that which is of the world and the prince of the power of the air, which is Satan who walks about continually seeking whom he may devour. When the Lord ascended to the right hand of God he led captivity captive, and gave us the gift of life and life more abundantly, the Spirit of truth to guide us into all truth so that we are enabled to not be brought into bondage again (being captive of the devil at his will). In Christ is all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge; and we have been given this treasure within us to lead us in a better way of life based on truth and not imaginations. Salvation is a daily choice; today is the day of salvation, now is the accepted time (2 Corinthians 6:2); choose you this day whom you will serve; choose you this day to whom you will be captive. Today's video Defile Not is on the topic of not defiling the temple of the living God, which temple you are. 1 Corinthians 3:16-17 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are. (KJV) Defile means to corrupt or destroy. You are the temple of the living God; you have the Spirit of God dwelling within you. You are not your own, and this includes all mankind, for all souls are God’s (Ezekiel 18:4); and whether we live or die we are His. Corruption cannot inherit incorruption, so do not think you can live whatever life or lifestyle you want without consequences. You cannot partake of the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons. Friendship with the world is enmity with God; because evil communications corrupt good morals; a little leaven allowed in will leaven the whole lump. You cannot defile yourself with mankind, whether it be physically or spiritually, and expect God to be pleased with you. So if you are not being led by the Spirit of God, then you will be cast out and will not have access to the tree of life any longer and will not inherit eternal life. If you destroy the temple of God, this includes suicide and murder, God will destroy you; not because I say so, but because God has said so. If you abort God, he will abort you. There are no gray areas with God; His word is simple, but man (the carnal mind) corrupts the simplicity of it. Genesis 3:22-24 And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live forever: Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from where he was taken. So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden cherubim, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life. (KJV) Drove out means to cast out, divorce, drive away, expel, surely put away, or thrust out. In the beginning sin separated mankind from God. And God drove out Adam and Eve from the garden of Eden and shut up the way to the tree of life, guarding it so that corruption could not inherit eternal life. But God so loved us that he made a way of escape from this corruptible life through the sacrifice and resurrection of his son Jesus Christ. In this selfless act of love on a daily basis, even unto death on the cross, you were bought with a price. Now through Jesus Christ we have the forgiveness of sins. That doesn’t mean that once you accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior that you can do what you want without consequences; to him that knows to do good and does it not, to him it is sin; and sin brings forth death, separation from God. James 1:14-15 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death. (KJV) But thanks be to God, who always causes us to triumph in Christ, his unspeakable gift of grace. We have been given this treasure, Christ in us the hope of glory, in whom we have access to all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. Unlimited power and wisdom of God which is able to keep our hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Now we have the power and wisdom of God to keep our hearts and minds; the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; and the helmet of salvation, the mind of Christ to keep the way of salvation, to keep the tree of life within us protected from any ungodly thing which tries to enter in and corrupt the good word and work of God which he has begun within us. We have the mind of Christ, the sword of the Spirit to keep the way of life and we have a responsibility to use them to cast down imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bring into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ so that when our obedience is fulfilled, disobedience is punished. We are to take heed (give attention) to what we hear, see, and do; rightly dividing the word of truth so that doubt is unable to enter in and lead us to sin, which is unbelief (letting man, the corrupt nature, be true and God the liar). Don’t let doubt enter into your temple, not even for a moment (a thought), but cast is out and place it into captivity so that it does not lead you down the path of imaginations which could lead to sin if acted upon and then death, spiritual separation (divorce) from God our Father. Proverbs 4:23 Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. (KJV) Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. Whatever you allow into your heart will eventually come out. Whether it is unto life or unto death. Matthew 15:18-20 But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man. For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies: These are the things which defile a man: but to eat with unwashed hands defileth not a man. (KJV) So dearly loved of God, and our Lord Jesus Christ, and us; be not as the many which corrupt the word of God in which they began, having allowed the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things to enter into their hearts and choke the word, and it has become unfruitful (you will know them by their fruit); but be as the few who continue to hear the word of God and keep (guard, obey) it in sincerity and in truth within their hearts, for you will also know them by their fruit, that it is good fruit and of the tree of life, for they walk in the righteousness of God and give God through his Son Christ Jesus the praise, honor and the glory forever and ever, Amen. 13. No one must say, when he is tempted to do evil, "I have a temptation from God to do evil," for God cannot be tempted to do evil, and He never tempts anyone to do so. 14. But anyone is tempted to do evil when he is allured by his own evil desire and enticed by a bait. 15. Then evil desire conceives and gives birth to sin, and when sin is completed, it brings forth death. 16. You must avoid being misled, my dearly loved brothers. James 1:13-16 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: (14) But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. (15) Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death. (16) Do not err, my beloved brethren. (KJV) While mankind over the centuries has tried to blame God for their own shortcomings and faults, even some to the point of claiming God tests His people, the truth be known it is the people that do the testing and put themselves in a bad place. When one goes back to their own spiritual drawing board they will find out that the reason they were drawn away in the first place had nothing to do with God despite many teaching to that effect, thus why we are warned not to err. God does not tempt or test His people with evil, never has and never will because that would make Him a liar. That is why when we read accounts throughout the Word we need to rightly divide the truth and learn from people’s mistakes; not like many who make it look like God made a mistake by tempting people, like Job. Nothing and I mean nothing happens in the realm of God by chance or luck, but it is a sure thing to those that are willing and obedient to His word and what He promised for His people to inherit. Isaiah 59:1-2 Behold, the LORD's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: (2) But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear. (KJV) Do you wonder why people lose confidence in their prayer life, and rather than put their hand to their mouth and listen to the answer some have the nerve to actually blame God for their own shortcomings, or lean to their own understanding like with the book of Job where many claim God randomly picked him out as an example? If there is a fracture in the relationship between man and God, be assured it was not on His end, but rather it happened here first. The Bible is consistent throughout to point out that we serve an infallible God; so if there has been a breach in the Spirit it was because you were inconsistent in your walk and hearing of His word of truth and rightly dividing it. You know it’s not like God has a history of hit or miss, good or bad days; it’s not like He got up this morning on the wrong side of the throne and was moody like we are sometimes. The point is, don’t always try to compare God to man, because man is limited; and so are you if you choose to limit yourself to just the understanding of man and not operating with the mind of Christ that we have access to. 2 Timothy 3:15-17 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. (16) All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: (17) That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. (KJV) You know, if you spent the time in the Word like you should then you wouldn’t be caught up in these false doctrines and limited understanding of childish people who claim to know God. All scripture, all of the Word of God, is for our benefit so that we can mature or grow up and not be tossed to and fro like we were when we were younger. If this scripture is what you are putting into your heart then that is what will be flowing from it; while anything else you allow into the heart is what will be spewing out of it, and so will God spew those that don’t speak His language. So while mankind has come up with many doctrines, many so called faiths, it is up to you personally to know for yourself the doctrine of Christ, which by the way is singular; one Lord, one faith, and only one doctrine our Lord accepts as His. This doctrine will only be found in the Word, your time spent studying for yourself so that you can stand approved before God and able to rightly divide the word of truth. Proverbs 15:28-29 The heart of the righteous studieth to answer: but the mouth of the wicked poureth out evil things. (29) The LORD is far from the wicked: but he heareth the prayer of the righteous. (KJV) If you didn’t take the time to study the Word today, what did you find that was more important? You know, you can go from righteous back to wicked; just a few nasty words you let pour out of your mouth can put you back into a realm separated from God. Thus the reason why we are encouraged to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness so that we can remain in good standing with Him and know that He hears our prayers. Some people think God plays favorites, or only approves of their denomination; but to those who are in Christ, they do not fall for man’s titles and approval, rather they are only concerned with that which is from above, His truth that sets us free. James 4:7-8 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. (8) Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. (KJV) Instead of entertaining the devil we should be resisting Him; which can only be done by remaining steadfast in the faith. If you notice it’s when we draw nigh or close to God that He does the same in return; but it is up to us to be clean before Him, which can only happen by the washing of the living waters of His word. When you decide to purify your heart, being single minded and not double minded, then the two are able to walk together again being in agreement. Isaiah 5:18-21 Woe unto them that draw iniquity with cords of vanity, and sin as it were with a cart rope: (19) That say, Let him make speed, and hasten his work, that we may see it: and let the counsel of the Holy One of Israel draw nigh and come, that we may know it! (20) Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! (21) Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight! (KJV) Where do you stand today, or should I say are you taking a stand today? There are many that call evil good and good evil because they haven’t taken the time to rightly divide the word of truth, which has drawn them away from God instead of closer. Do you know the difference for yourself of what is the doctrine of God, and what is of mankind; have you made it a priority? Are you drawing closer to God, or are you withdrawing from His realm?
