Good day. Today's video King of kings is on the topic of: Jesus Christ, the King of kings and Lord of lords. His kingdom is not of this world. When we accepted Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, God translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son, and our citizenship is now in heaven, where God raised us up and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus, who is seated at His right hand. In the Old Testament Israel rejected God's anointed judge and prophet Samuel, thus rejecting God, and they demanded a king be set over them that they may be like all the other nations, and that their king would judge them, and go out before them, and fight their battles. Today, many Christians are doing the same; they have rejected God's anointed judge and prophet, King of kings and Lord of lords, His Son Jesus Christ, and have set over themselves unknowingly due to their own ignorance concerning God and his plan of salvation through his Son, their own appointed false judges and prophets, kings and lords in the form of ministers, pastors, teachers, priests, etc. to reign over them and fight their battles for them, and to lay blame on, who in turn bring them into bondage laying heavy burdens that they are not able to bear, and they love to have it so (Read what Paul wrote in 2 Corinthians 11:13-15 and 19-20). Many rely more on what men say about the scriptures instead of going to the source of all truth, wisdom and knowledge, the King of kings and Lord of lords who has overcome the world. The Lord Jesus Christ said "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light" (Matthew 11:28-30); thus, the simplicity of salvation is in him. Do you know the King of kings, the Lord of lords? Is He truly your King and Lord? Who do you want to reign over you, to judge you, to teach you, to go before you, to fight your battles for you? Men or God our Father and our Lord Jesus Christ? Choose you this day who you will serve! God bless and keep the faith. Stay Tuned V17n29 How often have you talked to yourself, and made statements that you hear, but did not pay much attention to? For myself, I can recall asking God to be a little clearer, on what He would have me do. Looking for God to take me by the hand, and lead me down this path, so I will not make any mistakes. Yet, we know that the scriptures tell us, "Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed." It also tells us, to "be a doer of the Word, and not a hearer only." I have to walk the walk, as well as talk the talk. I have to set an example that people will know is achievable. They have to see that they too, are capable of hearing God, and doing as He asks of us, as individuals. For those of you who are around my age or older, you will remember the radios that we had a few years ago. They had tubes instead of transistors. You had to be real exact in setting the tuning, if you wanted to get real clear reception of any station. If you set it in a hurry, you ran the risk of having the station fade in and out. The end result is, that you could miss the most important part of the program that you are listening to. Christianity - our walk with God, is much the same way. Our relationship with God is like that tune radio. It takes a real fine-tuning, to hear and maintain our fellowship with the Father. What we have to take the time to hear and understand is, what does it take, to keep ourselves fine tuned, just as that old radio? First off, we have to remember that the radio needed a power source, 120 volts. So, you have to be at a place where a power source is available. We as Christians, have to recognize our source. Faith only comes by developing a relationship with Jesus Christ. The moment we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour, we are given the measure of faith (Romans 12:3). We have received the gift of Christ (Eph. 4:7). We become a new creation, old things pass away, and I have a new lease on life (II Cor. 5:17). Now that I have a power source for my radio, I can turn the set on. Since this is a tube radio, it will take a little time for the tubes to warm up, and become operational, for the purpose that it was intended. Now that I am born-again, I too have a power source for my life. I have the ability to stay plugged into it at all times. Yet, I also have a free will, so that if I choose to stray from it, I will come unplugged. The glow of the tubes goes out, and until I get plugged back into the proper power source, I will no longer be capable of hearing the instructions that Father has for me. Once I get plugged back in again, it takes awhile for the tubes to again get warm, to where the radio will be operational. It will be a short time until I can again have clear reception. All because I choose to stray from the power source. God's Word, (the Bible) is my power source. I have the choice to stay plugged into it each and everyday of my life. If I choose to walk away from it, whether for several days, several weeks or several years, the result is always the same. I have broken the communications link with the Father. It is not always easy re-establishing that link. Too often, we have gotten ourselves in spiritual hot water, and we want an answer right away. We want immediate results. Yet, we can no longer hear Father's voice as clear, since we had been disconnected from "the" power source. Faith, my ability to believe Father, is maintained by hearing Father's Word. "Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God." I have to maintain clear reception on my radio, so I can always hear Father's instructions and guidance clearly. Staying in His Word, maintains the power source. In our society, we have so many distractions that try to disconnect us from our power source. We have television, which tells us everything, but what we need to know. It gives us all kinds of visions of things that satisfy the flesh, but little of what nourishes the spirit man. The radio has many stations that will tell us many things that sound good to us. It will give us entertainment. But, it will take real fine-tuning to find the station that will give us what we need to hear. It too, senses mostly signals that satisfy the flesh. So, how do we stayed tuned, in a world that is programmed to lead us astray? How do we stay focused? How do we stay tuned? Just as with the radio, where we have the tuner positioned, will determine what kind of message we will receive. Likewise, in our spiritual walk, where we have ourselves hanging out will be indicative of our spiritual health. If we have ourselves around loose lips, the evil communications will have an effect on us. (I Cor 15:33, Matt 12:36). This is why we have to keep ourselves fine tuned. Eliminating the interference gives us clearer reception of the signal. This makes the message more understandable. As radio's developed, they learned to design filters for the radios that would filter out a good portion of the background noise, thus giving us a much better signal, with less static at the speaker. As Christian's, as we learn and become effective at hearing and applying God's Word, it in effect is similar to a filter. As our knowledge of the "Word" grows, it sheds light on the darkness. It is love, overcoming fear. God has not given us the spirit of fear (II Tim. 1:7). Perfect love casts out fear. (I John 4:18). We have the ability as Christians, to set up filter systems for our reception. We are able to filter out everything that is not from above (James 1:17). But, the choice is ours. No one can force anything on you. Also, with our old tube type radios, reception at times was a little bit perturbing. You would have to turn the radio a little one way or the other, to get better reception. Or, even where it was located in the room would raise havoc with the incoming signal. Sound real similar to our Christian walk? Where are we facing? Which direction are we headed? If you are seeking the wealth of the world, which direction are you headed? How clear will the message of salvation be received? If all we are seeking, are signs and wonders, and not a working knowledge of the Word, which direction are we headed? It says (the Bible), that the Lord confirmed the Word, with signs following (Mark 16:20). We need to seek the Lord while He may be found. Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness. Faith comes from the message heard. Which station you are tuned to, will determine what kind of a message you will hear. As for me and my house, we will stay tuned to the Lord! That you may know Him, In the service of Jesus Christ Larry Gazelka Next issue: Heed the call! Numbers 23:19-20 KJV "But my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus." Phil 4:19. KJV Good day. Today's video On Purpose is on the topic of: Does your life have meaning, purpose? Ecclesiastes 3:1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under heaven: (KJV) Your life was planned out by God before the foundation of the world with the eternal purpose which he proposed in his Son Christ Jesus our Lord in whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him, that your joy might be full, and you might have life and life more abundantly in his Son. When you came to the Lord you came into agreement with his plan of salvation which gives your life meaning, which has purpose. Jesus Christ gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father; he came down from heaven not to do his own will but the will of our Father who is in heaven, and to be a witness unto the truth; and everyone that is of the truth hears his voice, and testifies of his eternal purpose which he in turn has purposed within you. Our life has purpose, and that purpose is found in Christ, so let his will be done and not our own will (don't be self-willed, arrogant), but allow the Lord to lead and guide you into all truth in knowing what your purpose, your place in the body of Christ is, for there you will have the peace of God ruling in your heart, where fear has no place, and where he always causes us to triumph in Christ and overcome this present evil world as he did. So Church, God our Father and our Lord Jesus Christ have a blueprint, a GPS guidance system, planned out in advance for each of us in the body of Christ each day, and it's a lot better than what we can come up with, so seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness to find out his purpose for your life today, because we only have now faith to walk in; yesterday is gone and tomorrow is not here yet, and there is enough evil to have to deal with today; so put on and keep on the whole armor of God, and go live a life which has purpose and do things on purpose with thanksgiving giving praise, honor, and glory to God our Father for the abundant eternal life which he has purposed for us in his Son, Christ Jesus our Lord. God bless and keep the faith. When Is an Answer, Not an Answer? v21n6 So many times in life we ask a question with preconceived thoughts and ideas of what we think the answer should be. When the answer does not fall within the parameters of what our predisposition was, we then disregard the response. We not only do this in every day life, but we many times do this also with God. In all reality, we could phrase the title of this week's newsletter in several different ways. We could also title it; "When is a question, not a question?" Many times, we will ask a question with the only real purpose of being able to promote and address our own agenda. By doing this, we are trying to bait people into a confrontation, by asking questions that will bring about answers in which we will be able to support our views. Luke 10:29 But he, willing to justify himself, said unto Jesus, And who is my neighbour? (KJV) In this case of the lawyer, he was not really seeking answers, but was rather promoting self-justification. He (the lawyer) was going about to establish his own righteousness. This lawyer did not really want to change, as he was quite satisfied with the life that he had. The answer that Jesus Christ gave the lawyer, was not the answer that this lawyer wanted to hear. For the lawyer was in the same category as the priest and the Levite that had passed by the person wounded and dying in the ditch. Many times in this life we will make attempts to justify ourselves before Father. Instead of heeding Father's counsel through, we will become like the lawyer, and try to justify our decision as well as our walk. Often times, when Father asks a question of us, we do not respond fully or truthfully. Rather, we become as the lawyer did in his conversation with the Lord. We will always be able to find excuses when we do not want to hear that which Father is asking of us. We will always think within ourselves that we have found a legitimate reason for our decision. Why do we call Him Lord, Lord, and do not the things that He is asking of us? Luke 9:57-58 And it came to pass, that, as they went in the way, a certain man said unto him, Lord, I will follow thee whithersoever thou goest. And Jesus said unto him, Foxes have holes, and birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head. (KJV) The people that watched the life of Jesus Christ of Nazareth observed a man that was able to perform miracle after miracle and feat after feat. Whether it was bringing about the healing of someone with the issue of blood, raising someone from the dead, to feeding thousands with a few loaves and fishes, they marveled at what He was able to do. So what we have to understand here, is that this certain man, when saying that he would follow Jesus Christ was not as difficult as it first appeared, since one would think to himself that anyone that followed Him would be given this power. Yet the response of Jesus Christ in verse fifty-eight is not the answer this man expected to hear, nor wanted to hear. The answer that Jesus Christ gives here, is not the same as the answer that we hear from many preachers in the world today. Jesus Christ plainly tells this man that the birds and foxes have places to make their homes and rest, yet the son of man has no place to lay His head. Is this the answer this man expected to have? Is this the answer we expect to hear? Do you think this man followed Jesus Christ after hearing this response? Will you follow Jesus Christ after this response? Matthew 6:33-34 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. (KJV) We are to seek first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness, Christ. Yet many of the messages that are being taught within the Church today, have us seeking the wealth of the world, rather than the riches of God. If you had to live as Jesus Christ did, would you still follow Him? If you had to depend on your every need to come from Father, would you still follow Him? Not always the easiest thing, to walk by faith, and not by sight. Luke 9:59-60 And he said unto another, Follow me. But he said, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father. Jesus said unto him, Let the dead bury their dead: but go thou and preach the kingdom of God. (KJV) And yet another was spoken to and asked if he would follow Jesus Christ. However, his reply was that he had personal matters, family matters to attend to first. Things more important to tend to, than what God was asking of him. How often are we too still responding in this manner. Many times we put life on this earth ahead of living forever with God. We tend to things that are dead, or will lead to death, before the very bread of life. Many a time we will boastfully tell the Lord that we do want to serve Him, and that we will do all that He asks of us. Then, when we hear the Lord's response, it is not the answer that we wanted to hear. That is when an answer is not the answer, that answer we wanted to hear. Why is this? Could it be that we had already formulated in our mind the answer that we not only expected to hear, but wanted to hear? And when it is not the answer that we wanted to hear, will we still do that which we were asked? Do you think that this man followed the Lord, or went back and tended to the dead things that hindered his path? Luke 9:61-62 And another also said, Lord, I will follow thee; but let me first go bid them farewell, which are at home at my house. And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God. (KJV) And yet still another said, I will follow you Lord, but! How often is it that we do the same thing with Father? We set conditions that we have to have met first, before we will do that which He asks of us. We tell God what we think is necessary before we will do that which is being asked of us. The majority of the time, we want to run back to the world and get their approval before we will do that which has been asked of us by God. This man wanted to run back to his family and friends and get their approval before following the Lord. How often does the world approve of anyone following Jesus Christ? What would be their response if this man was the one that provided for the household? What we also have to see and hear here, is that this man was allowing the tempter another opportunity to talk him out of that which had been asked of him by God. Many are called, but few are chosen. And this is not because God loves certain people more than others, for we know that He is no respecter of persons. We have to keep fresh in our mind, that God so loved the world that He gave His only Son. The reason few are chosen is that few will respond to Father's call. Most respond with "yes Lord, I will follow you, BUT!" If we do not know who Jesus Christ is, why would we ever want to follow? What has been your reply to God? That you may know Him, In the service of Jesus Christ Larry Gazelka Good day. Today's video A Lasting Impression is on the topic of: Humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God that He may exalt you in due time. The first (the old man, old nature) shall be last and the last (the new man, new creation) shall be first in the kingdom of God. The Lord left us an example of putting ourselves (our wants and desires) last and putting the kingdom of God and His righteousness and others first. We are to wash another's feet and not our own; in other words ministering unto others the glorious gospel of Christ, and not seeking to be ministered unto, but to lay down our lives for our brethren in the body of Christ; it is better to give than to receive; and when you give and it shall be given unto you more abundantly in the Spirit. When you put others first do it whole heartedly as unto the Lord, and not to be seen or be highly esteemed among men, for that which is highly esteemed among men is an abomination in the sight of God. Have you found your place in the body of Christ, where God has placed you, and not men? God looks on the heart of men and not by the works that they do or the position they hold in a congregation. Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God (Matthew 5:8). The last place, or thing on our list may be the first that our Father has chosen for us, so remain humble and let Him exalt you in the place within the body of Christ as He sees fit. Wherever we are in the body of Christ, we are to live a life of humility as a servant of Christ, for the benefit of the kingdom of God, our brethren in Christ, and others who may believe through the word of God spoken unto them through us, whether in word or in deed, and always in truth, as our Lord Jesus Christ left us as an example. Owe no man anything but to love; and greater love is to lay down your life for the brethren. It is not about "I" anymore. Brethren, a lasting impression means to put others first; for this will be well pleasing in the sight of God our Father and our Lord Jesus Christ. Blessed are the meek (humble) for they shall inherit the earth (Matthew 5:5). God bless and stay humble. Friday, February 28, 2014 Another Spirit Numbers 14:22-24 Because all those men which have seen my glory, and my miracles, which I did in Egypt and in the wilderness, and have tempted me now these ten times, and have not hearkened to my voice; 23 Surely they shall not see the land which I swore unto their fathers, neither shall any of them that provoked me see it: 24 But my servant Caleb, because he had another spirit with him, and hath followed me fully, him will I bring into the land where into he went; and his seed shall possess it. (KJV) Church, in conclusion for this week, don’t be like many who settle for inferior doctrines and things of this world that will not get you home. It is going to take another Spirit for you to get to the promised land and only those that are led by the Spirit of Christ are going to make it there. John 14:16-18 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever; 17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it sees him not, neither knows him: but ye know him; for he dwells with you, and shall be in you. 18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. (KJV) If you spend much of your time looking to others for comfort, why not start looking within to find the real comfort that will last forever? The whole reason why God sent His Son for us is so that His Spirit could be poured out on all mankind; so they would have Him to rely on, instead of the spirit filled with fear that you settled for in the past. John 15:26-27 But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceeds from the Father, he shall testify of me: 27 And ye also shall bear witness, because ye have been with me from the beginning. (KJV) The question I have for the Church today is simple, are you going to allow someone other than the God Himself through the Holy Spirit dictate His plan of salvation to you? I have tried everything else under the sun and had not found any real comfort until I allowed the Holy Spirit to lead and guide me into all truth. Romans 8:9-10 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man has not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. 10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. (KJV) If it is not the doctrine of Christ then it will not get you home. That body or old man is now dead to outward things because you are able to see within the kingdom of God and know for yourself who you are in Christ, and this eliminates all fear and doubt. I John 4:3-5 And every spirit that confesses not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. 4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. 5 They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world hears them. (KJV) I hear so many who only see the outward man, Jesus of Nazareth after the flesh, without realizing who Christ was within this man which was able to have a greater influence in His walk. If you desire to enter into the promised land of the Spirit then you will have to allow Christ to have a greater influence on you as well. Quit settling for less than greatness Church. God bless and have a prosperous day in Christ Jesus our Lord dearly loved. Good day. Today's video Full Term is on the topic of: There is a new life planted within you, the seed which is the word of God, the seed which is Christ, whom you have been impregnated with when you accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, and should be brought to maturity, to full term (he who endures unto the end shall be saved); like a women with a child in the womb. We are to be fruitful and multiply spiritually; what fruit? the fruit of the Spirit, and we are required to bear this fruit unto maturity within us, as we will be held accountable before God for the health and well-being of our spirit man and the example that we live walking in the Spirit; just as a woman will be held accountable for the life of a child (in the womb or otherwise), for all souls are God's. And without Christ we cannot bring forth fruit to perfection. Our spirit man will either be healthy, whole, and complete or it will be weak, sickly, and ready to sleep (die spiritually). He came that we might have life and have it more abundantly. The thief comes to steal, kill, and destroy that new life that you have been impregnated with. Watch and pray always, casting all you care unto God, who (like a doctor cares for a pregnant woman through prenatal exams) does the caring for you, because the enemy like a roaring lion is always walking about seeking whom he may devour; and he looks for the weak and sickly. The strong continue to bring forth fruit unto perfection, having their senses exercised to discern both good and evil. The weak and sickly are unable to fully protect the word of God that was sown in their hearts, the impregnated seed, because they have allowed the cares of this life, the deceitfulness of riches, and lusts of other things to enter in and choke the word (abort the new life within them). Remember God looks within the heart of man, like a sonogram (ultrasound) done on a woman with a child in the womb to see the health and growth of the child, to see if the seed is good, acceptable, perfectly healthy, with fruit being brought to maturity, or if it is unhealthy, being choked, dead or aborted. You have been given a new life by Jesus Christ; you need to show up for your prenatal exams with God on a daily basis and nurture this new life within you growing up into Christ in all things; so continue walking in the newness of this life and bring forth fruit to perfection; otherwise you may end up weak, sickly, and be as the many who sleep, who will stand before God and have to give account of that new life that they neglected unto death, and will forever be separated from a life with God and our Lord Jesus Christ for eternity. Thursday, February 27, 2014 Another Spirit Numbers 14:22-24 Because all those men which have seen my glory, and my miracles, which I did in Egypt and in the wilderness, and have tempted me now these ten times, and have not hearkened to my voice; 23 Surely they shall not see the land which I swore unto their fathers, neither shall any of them that provoked me see it: 24 But my servant Caleb, because he had another spirit with him, and hath followed me fully, him will I bring into the land where into he went; and his seed shall possess it. (KJV) So while God has given us access to His Spirit today, the enemy would like to get you to sign on for another one. The question now becomes have you exercised your spiritual senses to know the difference between what is of God and what is a cheap imitation of the enemy? 2 Timothy 1:7-9 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. 8 Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God; 9 Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began, (KJV) Fear is another four letter word that should not be a part of a believer’s vocabulary. The enemy will drop his F bombs on you to see if you will bite; remember Church anything less than operating with the power of God by understanding His love is a rip off and will not have you operating with a sound mind. The Lord has mapped a path for you personally before the foundation of this world. So today if you are not experiencing the peace of God and assurance of who you are in Christ then you need to go back to your prayer closet and find out where you veered off the path. I John 4:17-18 Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world. 18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear: because fear hath torment. He that fears is not made perfect in love. (KJV) A perfect love is referring to maturity, spiritual maturity, where you no longer spend so much time analyzing things; instead you are quick to cast down imaginations and any other nonsense that would come against the knowledge of God. You are the one that doesn’t allow these seeds of doubt and fear to take root, but keep them out of your garden by letting the peace of God do the guarding instead of the outward man. Romans 8:14-17 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. 15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. 16 The Spirit itself bears witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: 17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. (KJV) The whole reason you accepted salvation is so that you could make it to the end and be glorified with Christ. Jesus Christ was the first born into the kingdom so that He could show you how to make it there. If you are not receiving your instructions first hand from our Lord then you are settling for second hand junk that will not get you home and is likely the reason you are so tormented with fear. Dearly loved, let the peace of God rule and reign in your heart today; God bless and have a prosperous day in Christ Jesus our Lord. |
