Good day. Today's video On Purpose is on the topic of: Does your life have meaning, purpose? Ecclesiastes 3:1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under heaven: (KJV) Your life was planned out by God before the foundation of the world with the eternal purpose which he proposed in his Son Christ Jesus our Lord in whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him, that your joy might be full, and you might have life and life more abundantly in his Son. When you came to the Lord you came into agreement with his plan of salvation which gives your life meaning, which has purpose. Jesus Christ gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father; he came down from heaven not to do his own will but the will of our Father who is in heaven, and to be a witness unto the truth; and everyone that is of the truth hears his voice, and testifies of his eternal purpose which he in turn has purposed within you. Our life has purpose, and that purpose is found in Christ, so let his will be done and not our own will (don't be self-willed, arrogant), but allow the Lord to lead and guide you into all truth in knowing what your purpose, your place in the body of Christ is, for there you will have the peace of God ruling in your heart, where fear has no place, and where he always causes us to triumph in Christ and overcome this present evil world as he did. So Church, God our Father and our Lord Jesus Christ have a blueprint, a GPS guidance system, planned out in advance for each of us in the body of Christ each day, and it's a lot better than what we can come up with, so seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness to find out his purpose for your life today, because we only have now faith to walk in; yesterday is gone and tomorrow is not here yet, and there is enough evil to have to deal with today; so put on and keep on the whole armor of God, and go live a life which has purpose and do things on purpose with thanksgiving giving praise, honor, and glory to God our Father for the abundant eternal life which he has purposed for us in his Son, Christ Jesus our Lord. God bless and keep the faith. There are many obstacles in life, it's an obstacle course. For those that are walking with the Lord, they learn to overcome their lower nature and the obstacles of the carnal mind, the carnal limited thinking of that fallen nature, and overcome the wicked one, the god of this world. Whereas those that are walking against the Lord, they stumble and fall, they get entrapped, unable to overcome the impediments placed in their path by the god of this world. Others begin in the Spirit, they endure for a time, but when affliction and persecution arise for the Word's sake, immediately they are offended and having no root in themselves they fall away; and others start to stumble at the cares of this life, the deceitfulness of riches, and lusts of other things that choke the Word in their life and it becomes unfruitful, they then can become a stumbling block to other believers. Those that come against the doctrine of Christ or don't understand it, they themselves become a stumbling block, a rock of offence or an impediment because they don't understand the true plan of salvation and the way the Lord intended it to be, and they teach contrary to it and cause others to stumble as well. Jesus Christ is the Chief corner stone of the foundation of God that stands sure, and every one the names the name of Christ departs from iniquity. Are you stumbling or standing firm? Is your foundation upon the Rock or upon the sand which cannot withstand? Today's video Up and Adam is on parallels drawn between the first Adam (made a living soul), and the last Adam, Jesus Christ (made a life-giving spirit). Mark 4:11-13 And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables: (12) That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them. (13) And he said unto them, Know ye not this parable? and how then will ye know all parables? The sower soweth the word. (KJV) A parable is a comparison, an example by which a doctrine is illustrated. An earthly account with a spiritual meaning that can only be revealed by the Spirit of God. The life of Jesus Christ was an earthly account with a spiritual meaning which is given unto us to know. It is given unto each of us, those who have accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, to know the mystery of the kingdom of God. It is life to all those unto whom it is revealed. Will you be one of the few who will ask to know this mystery, who will seek to know it, who will knock and it shall be opened unto them so that when you stand before the Lord and He asks you, who do you say I am, you will respond accordingly in spirit and in truth (for the Lord knows those whom are His); or will you be like the many who will stand before the Lord, only to be told that He never knew them, and to depart from Him, you that work iniquity (Matthew 7:21-23). 2 Timothy 2:19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity. (KJV) Matthew 16:15-17 He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? (16) And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. (17) And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Bar-jona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. (KJV) It is only God our Father in heaven who reveals the mystery of His kingdom by His Holy Spirit to His saints. For all things work together for the good to those who love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose (Rom 8:28-30) which He proposed from the foundation of the world. And it is given unto you to know; a gift freely given; will you accept it, will you open it, will you make use of it in your own life? Will you share it freely with others that they too may accept this gift freely given from God our Father through His Son Jesus Christ, that their hearts too might be comforted, being knit together in love as were you, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ? Colossians 1:26-27 Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: (27) To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory: (KJV) John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. (KJV) Behold! The kingdom of God is now within you. You need to know this mysterious response. God bless and keep the faith. Romans 16:25-27 Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began, (26) But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith: (27) To God only wise, be glory through Jesus Christ for ever. Amen. (KJV) Revelation 1:1-3 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John: (2) Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw. (3) Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand. (KJV) Galatians 1:11-12 But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man. (12) For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ. (KJV) Galatians 1:15-16 But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by his grace, (16) To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood: (KJV) Ephesians 3:1-12 For this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles, (2) If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward: (3) How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words, (4) Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ) (5) Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit; (6) That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel: (7) Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power. (8) Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ; (9) And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ: (10) To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God, (11) According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord: (12) In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him. (KJV) Colossians 2:8-12 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. (9) For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. (10) And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power: (11) In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ: (12) Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead. Good Morning. Today's video Fiery Trial is on the topic of...Our God is a consuming fire. James 1:2-5 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. (KJV) Psalms 66:10 For thou, O God, hast proved us: thou hast tried us, as silver is tried. (KJV) Malachi 3:2-3 But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner's fire, and like fullers' soap: And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the LORD an offering in righteousness. (KJV) Not all fiery trials come from Satan. As we go on please do keep in mind, that God does not tempt or try us with evil; man is drawn away of his own lust and enticed (James 1:13-15). Think about this, our God is a consuming fire; and there are times in our walk with the Lord that God will try or prove us to bring us to a better place, a more perfect or mature place in Christ his Son. Sometimes God will prune (chasten) us like a branch on the vine, but sometimes an area of our life takes fire to cleanse away the weeds so that it will be good ground for Him to regenerate new growth in that area of our spiritual garden. 1 Corinthians 3:11-13 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. (KJV) The materials that we use, in other words what we put into our relationship with the Lord will be tried; and it will manifest if it can withstand the fiery trial, whether it be of God or a temptation from Satan. Will your faith, your trust in God withstand (endure) or will you wither under trial? Will you trust God, even if you don’t fully understand what He is doing in your life? Remember we will get out what we put into it (2 Corinthians 9:6, Galatian 6:6-7). Would you be willing to give up and walk away from what you treasure on this earth; whether it be man’s wisdom and knowledge you acquired over time, or riches, houses, wives, children, brethren, or your church to follow Christ? Or will you be like the rich young ruler, in Matthew 19:16-22, who when he asked the Lord what he must do to inherit eternal life was told to sell what he had and give to the poor, and take up his cross and follow Him, he went away sorrowful because he had great riches? Paul suffered the loss of all things and chose to count them as dung or refuse that he may win Christ. Philippians 3:7-11 But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ. Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ, And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith: That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead. (KJV) We (Greg and I) have been through our own wilderness experience these last five years; and suffered the loss of all things which were gain to us, but we also chose to count them as dung that we may win Christ, and be ambassadors for Christ holding forth the word of life in sincerity and in truth. Was our journey always easy? No, we went through the Lord’s furnace of affliction to burn off our old thoughts and ways. It has only been in the last year that the vision the Lord began us on this journey with has been speaking, and our desire is to be able to share it with others so that if the Lord calls them to a better place in their walk, they can run knowing that all things work together for the good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to his purpose. And we can truly say that we are in a better place spiritually, and moving forward to the promised land; eternal life with God our Father and with our Lord Jesus Christ. What are you willing to walk away from or let go of to inherit eternal life? God bless, and may you always being growing and maturing in our Lord Christ Jesus. Amen. Today's video Gospel of Your Salvation is on the topic of the gospel of your salvation is personal between you and God in his Son, Christ Jesus. Ephesians 1:3-14 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved. In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace; Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence; Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself: That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him: In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will: 12 That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ. 13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise, Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory. (KJV) The word gospel means good news. The good news is not limited to Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John which are referred to as the gospels by many. The entire written word of God is the gospel of your salvation, as well as anything you hear personally from God for your walk in the Spirit while here on earth; because it is written, that man does not live by bread alone (the written word), but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. The word of God is not bound in a book; it is living and powerful and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart; yesterday, today, and forever. The plan of salvation has a Chief corner stone, Jesus Christ our Lord, which sad to say many builders have rejected, but who is blessed forevermore and seated at the right hand of God. For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. If we are not allowing God to build our spiritual house by and through His Son Christ Jesus, the leading of the Holy Spirit within us, then who is building it; what will the outcome of it be? Will it be fit for the Master’s use? Ephesians 2:19-22 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God; And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: In whom ye also are built together for an habitation of God through the Spirit. (KJV) God has the only copy of the blueprint of your life (the gospel of your salvation; personal) which he determined for you before the foundation of the world, which he will share with you personally as you continue to abide in his Son, Christ Jesus, and seek him on a daily basis to know what he desires for you. Even if his good news for you today comes in the form of correction because he desires the best for you and your life. He wants you to remain in the plan of salvation, enduring correction and instruction in righteousness, that you may receive the end of your faith, even the salvation of your soul. And if you lack wisdom in anything that comes along in your life, go to God first through his Son Jesus Christ in faith nothing wavering, and ask him who will give you liberally that which you need, so that your faith does not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the wisdom and power of God; Christ in you the hope of glory. Our Father has a plan for you; so with the leading and guiding of the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of truth who will lead and guide you into all truth, his spirit bearing witness with your spirit, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling knowing that it is God which works in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure. He has a purpose and plan personally for you and your life; so do know dearly loved, all things work together for the good to them that love God, to those who are the called according to his purpose. God bless and continue in the doctrine of Christ, the gospel of your salvation. 2 Timothy 2:19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity. (KJV) You can view all previous videos by going to our YouTube channel Doctrine of Christ Ministry. Have a blessed and prosperous day in Christ Jesus our Lord. Good morning. Today's video The Knowledge... is on the topic of the knowledge, the truth, the faith..., singular, according to the word of God. 1 Timothy 2:4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. (KJV) Unto us it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God (Mark 4:11). How will you come to the knowledge of the mystery and of the truth that is in Jesus; and which is in you? John 16:13-15 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you. All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you. (KJV) We have an unction from the Holy One and we know all things; the kingdom of God is within us (Luke 17:20-21). Now it is a matter of allowing the Spirit of truth to guide us into the knowledge and the truth which has been given unto us to know; Christ in you the hope of glory. Ephesians 4:20-21 But ye have not so learned Christ; If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus: (KJV) When you have lifted up the son of man (removed the veil of the flesh; looking beyond the man Jesus), then you shall come to the knowledge of the truth (John 8:28); and the truth shall make you free to walk in the liberty of the knowledge of the truth; Christ in you the hope of glory. There are many who are ever learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth because they are following the traditions and doctrines of man and have errored from the way of truth, from allowing the Spirit of truth to guide them into all truth, and have settled for religion; and have now been brought into bondage again by those who have promised them liberty, but they themselves are the servants of corruption because they themselves never came to the knowledge of the truth and have corrupted the word of God; worshiping the creation (Jesus) more than the Creator (God). If we lack this wisdom and knowledge, it is up to each of us to ask God in faith (believing him to be faithful) for it to be revealed unto you; then diligently seek to know, and you shall find the truth, for God is a rewarder of them who diligently seek him. He will reveal it unto you. Draw nigh unto God and he will draw nigh unto you. Matthew 7:7-11 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone? Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent? If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him? (KJV) The knowledge and the truth is spiritually discerned which is why God sent his Son (Christ) into the world by Jesus to make the way, the truth, and the life known unto you; and has now sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts so that you might know the things that are freely given unto you of God. To know the Father is to know his Son; to know the Son is to know the Father and to be known of them is to know the knowledge and the truth which is in you. God bless. 1 Corinthians 2:12-14 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. (KJV) You can view all previous videos by going to our YouTube channel Doctrine of Christ Ministry. Have a blessed and prosperous day in Christ Jesus our Lord. Good morning. Today's video Whole is on the topic of being whole; complete spirit, soul, and body. 1 Thessalonians 5:23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. (KJV) Wholly means to accomplish, to perfect, to complete. Whole means completeness, maturity, health. We have been given the whole armour of God (Ephesians 6:10-17) that we may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil; this armour keeps our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus allowing us to continue to walk by faith, casting down imaginations and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ, so that in our obedience disobedience is punished. All this was given that we may be whole and complete in all manner of life; able to attend upon the Lord without distraction. John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. (KJV). Will you put on and keep on the whole armour of God? Prove it by reason of use; come to know, to understand, and operate in the power and wisdom of God? It has been given unto you to know. Our Father has given us all that we need to come to the knowledge of the truth, which is Christ in us the hope of glory, who is our life, the armour of God, and we are complete in Him (whole). God’s armour begins with truth and ends with the sword of the Spirit in which we are able to rightly divide the word of truth. It is the truth that will set you free and keep you free; and we have been given the Spirit of truth, the Holy Spirit which leads us and guides us into all truth. Truth holds all the armour together and by reason of use it frees us up to allow the manifestation of the Spirit to profit in our life (1 Corinthians 12:7-11) that our whole spirit, soul, and body may be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ said, I am the way, the truth, and the life; no man comes unto the Father but by me. There is no other way to be whole, but by truth, which leads to eternal life. It is a narrow path that is paved with the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth; and few be there that find it. Few get to the point of letting go of all their life and allow God to manifest unto them wholly all things that pertain unto life and godliness that they may be whole, spirit, soul, and body. Will you be one of the few? God bless dear brethren, and may you be whole; spirit, soul, and body in Christ Jesus our Lord.
