Good day. Today's video A Lasting Impression is on the topic of: Humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God that He may exalt you in due time. The first (the old man, old nature) shall be last and the last (the new man, new creation) shall be first in the kingdom of God. The Lord left us an example of putting ourselves (our wants and desires) last and putting the kingdom of God and His righteousness and others first. We are to wash another's feet and not our own; in other words ministering unto others the glorious gospel of Christ, and not seeking to be ministered unto, but to lay down our lives for our brethren in the body of Christ; it is better to give than to receive; and when you give and it shall be given unto you more abundantly in the Spirit. When you put others first do it whole heartedly as unto the Lord, and not to be seen or be highly esteemed among men, for that which is highly esteemed among men is an abomination in the sight of God. Have you found your place in the body of Christ, where God has placed you, and not men? God looks on the heart of men and not by the works that they do or the position they hold in a congregation. Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God (Matthew 5:8). The last place, or thing on our list may be the first that our Father has chosen for us, so remain humble and let Him exalt you in the place within the body of Christ as He sees fit. Wherever we are in the body of Christ, we are to live a life of humility as a servant of Christ, for the benefit of the kingdom of God, our brethren in Christ, and others who may believe through the word of God spoken unto them through us, whether in word or in deed, and always in truth, as our Lord Jesus Christ left us as an example. Owe no man anything but to love; and greater love is to lay down your life for the brethren. It is not about "I" anymore. Brethren, a lasting impression means to put others first; for this will be well pleasing in the sight of God our Father and our Lord Jesus Christ. Blessed are the meek (humble) for they shall inherit the earth (Matthew 5:5). God bless and stay humble. The Lord’s Table 08/16/2024 Church, many are not discerning the Lord’s body, and who is allowed to drink of the cup of the Lord and partake of his table. There are many false prophets and teachers as well as their damnable heresies out there corrupting the truth of the word of God and gospel of Christ. They have become like the world, therefore speak they of the world and the world hears them. You cannot serve God and mammon (money); and the love of money is the root of all evil. 1 Corinthians 10:21 Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of devils. (KJV) Romans 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; (KJV) Romans 1:19-32 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. (20) For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: (21) Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. (22) Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, (23) And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. (24) Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: (25) Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. (26) For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: (27) And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. (28) And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; (29) Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, (30) Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, (31) Without understanding, covenant breakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: (32) Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them. (KJV) Many religious organizations and leaders have corrupted the word of God for advantage sake. Whether it be for money, fear of men or governments, or seeking the praise of men more than the praise of God. They have errored from the truth and from the faith that was delivered unto us by Jesus Christ. They seek to please men more than God, and they have compromised with the world in fear of speaking the truth of God’s word. Church, we are in perilous times. There are false prophets and those of this world who say there is no hell and that everyone goes to heaven; and that is a hell of a doctrine! They say that it doesn’t matter what life you live, God loves and accepts everyone; anything goes, you can be who or want you want to be, you can do whatever you want to do, have whatever you want to have at any expense, love who you want to love, marry anyone you want to marry, you can murder the unborn child, you can mutilate your body (which by the way is not your own), you can change your God given body to another sex because you believe he made a mistake when he created you, or any other ungodliness or unrighteousness as written in Romans 1:18-32. These are smooth words that they speak to please the people so that they continue to support their ministry, their business, their beliefs. What they don’t tell you is that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God and are worthy of death; and so are those who have pleasure in them that do them. They are deceiving and being deceived; they are the servants of corruption. They are without excuse before God. It is a wide gate and broad path that leads to destruction (hell) and there are many on that path. Isaiah 30:8-11 Now go, write it before them in a table, and note it in a book, that it may be for the time to come for ever and ever: (9) That this is a rebellious people, lying children, children that will not hear the law of the LORD: (10) Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits: (11) Get you out of the way, turn aside out of the path, cause the Holy One of Israel to cease from before us. (KJV) 2 Peter 2:18-19 For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error. (19) While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage. (KJV) (Note: read all of 2Peter chapter 2) And the people that accept (compromise) and follow their pernicious ways are also without excuse before God. The truth is that God does love all his creation, but he does not love nor accept the sinful impulses or nature of mankind. It is a strait gate and narrow path that leads to eternal salvation with God our Father and our Lord Jesus Christ, and sad to say, there are few who find that path and stay on it. The truth hurts and many today don’t want the truth of God’s word because it convicts them of their sins, but rather they are choosing to believe a lie from the father of lies, the devil himself. They are overthrown in the wilderness of this world with worldly doctrines of demons. 1 Timothy 4:1-2 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; (2) Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; (KJV) Church, read your Bibles (preferably the King James Version, which is the original translation of the scriptures, as many of the other versions leave out Christ, and other words that change the meaning of the scriptures); make sure that what you hear from men agrees with God’s word, His truth. Ask God our Father in heaven to reveal the truth of His word unto you through the Holy Spirit. Let the eyes of your understanding be enlightened to His truth. The Holy Spirit will lead and guide you into all truth and show you things to come. And don’t compromise with the world and its ways; instead, continue to hold fast the profession of faith and to the truth of God’s word. Let God be true, but man the liar. 1 Peter 4:1-5 Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin; (2) That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God. (3) For the time past of our life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries: (4) Wherein they think it strange that ye run not with them to the same excess of riot, speaking evil of you: (5) Who shall give account to him that is ready to judge the quick and the dead. (KJV) You cannot serve sin and drink the cup of the Lord nor partake of his table. We are in this world, but we are not to be of this world. We are to come out from among them and be separate and touch not the unclean thing and God will receive us and be a Father unto us and we will be his sons and daughters (2 Corinthians 6:14-18). Yes, God has sent out the invitation to everyone to come and drink of the Lord’s cup and partake of the Lord’s table, but they have to accept the invitation which he has sent, Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and repent of their sins. This is what will allow them to partake of the kingdom and righteousness of God. John 3:16-21 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (17) For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. (18) He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. (19) And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. (20) For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. (21) But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God. (KJV) Revelation 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. (KJV) The Lord’s cup and the Lord’s table are for those who have accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and savior; and who have chosen to walk in the Spirit and not fulfill the lusts of their flesh, nor continue to walk in the way of the world; and have disowned the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling of the word of God deceitfully; those who have chosen to walk the straight and narrow path of life in Christ Jesus. You cannot serve the God of all creation and the god of this world; it puts you in a place of lukewarm which will also end in eternal damnation if you do. You are either for God or against him, there is no middle ground. The warnings are written and known, and yet, many choose to follow the world, and this includes the many religions, faiths, denominations, and their organizations. There are few who choose to hold fast to God’s truth; His word is truth. To be a Christian, is to be Christ like in spirit, soul, and body, in all manner of your life, seeking to please our Father in heaven instead of the world. For if we seek to please men we cannot be a servant of Christ. Ephesians 5:11-13 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. (12) For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret. (13) But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light. (KJV) 1 Corinthians 15:50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. (KJV) Ephesians 2:2-3 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: (3) Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others. (KJV) (Note: read all of Ephesians 2) Ephesians 4:17-19 This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind, (18) Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart: (19) Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness. (KJV) Ephesians 5:3-6 But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints; (4) Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks. (5) For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. (6) Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. (KJV) 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, (10) Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. (KJV) Galatians 5:19-21 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, (20) Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, (21) Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. (KJV) Galatians 6:7-8 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. (8) For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. (KJV) Colossians 3:5-7 Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry: (6) For which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience: (7) In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them. (KJV) 1 John 2:15-17 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. (16) For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. (17) And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever. (KJV) Jude 17-19 But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ; (18) How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts. (19) These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit. (KJV) (Note: read all of Jude) Revelation 21:7-8 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. (8) But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. (KJV) Revelation 22:14-15 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie. (KJV) Remember, there is one body (the body of Christ), and one Spirit, even as you are called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism (it is spiritual), one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. And those who are on the outside of the One, do not have a right to partake of the Lord’s cup nor his table, nor the tree of life, nor are they able to enter into the gates of the new Jerusalem. The world may say there is no hell, and there are no consequences for living a life of sin, or a life apart from God, but they will find themselves in a hellfire of a predicament come the day of judgment. And those religious organizations that say they are following God but compromise with the world and teach others to do the same will have the greater condemnation, and they too will find themselves in a hellfire of a predicament come the day of judgement. All “their” righteousness will end in the lake of fire. So Church, let God and his word be true, and man the liar. You have to overcome the world and its ways that you used to walk in, and it is a daily renewing of the mind in the word of God, and daily choosing to be a doer of that which our Father asks of you in obedience. And always seek the Lord for his answer to the issues of this life that come along. And for Christ’s sake, and God our Father’s don’t be like the rest of the world which lives in ungodliness and unrighteousness nor make compromise with them, or you may find out that you too have no right to partake of the Lord’s cup or table any longer. Tuesday, January 1, 2008 Bad Medicine John 5:1-4 After this there was a feast of the Jews; and Jesus went up to Jerusalem. Now there is at Jerusalem by the sheep market a pool, which is called in the Hebrew tongue Bethesda, having five porches. In these lay a great multitude of impotent folk, of blind, halt, withered, waiting for the moving of the water. For an angel went down at a certain season into the pool, and troubled the water: whosoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease he had. (KJV) When reading these verses one needs to understand that the writer John was giving an account of what was taking place at this pool and what the belief was among the people that were gathered around it. John was not giving credence to the fact that an angel was actually coming down from heaven and troubling the water, but his own eyewitness account of what the people were believing. To this day we have many who hold to this same belief. Having watched a documentary concerning this, there are many springs around the world that are considered to have waters that produce special powers, holy water if you would, which many swear by. For every different denomination they have their own watering hole, which shows you where they are at in their walk. Like so many, they look to the outward realm for something to cure their inward sickness, which in the end results with many being left out. These verses in John are an example of many of today’s so called churches and religious organizations who have a bunch of weak spiritually diseased followers waiting for someone or something to come along and get things stirred up. Rather than go to the source, accessing the Father through His Son Jesus Christ, many jump at the opportunity when some so called prophet or evangelist comes to town; someone they think is sent of God who is coming to get things stirred up. John 4:12-14 Art thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle? Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again: But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life. (KJV) What well are you drinking from today? Are you looking to the spiritual well of life to find the eternal healing waters, or are you sitting around some stagnant polluted pool of man’s doctrine waiting for something or someone to stir you up? Are you looking to quench your spiritual thirst, or are you still seeking some outside source that many think will provide them some quick fix? The devil would like nothing better than to see God’s people sitting around being idle rather than taking hold of the blessings afforded His people; many are like passengers at an airport, always on standby and never taking off. Psalms 84:11-12 For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly. O LORD of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee. (KJV) God is no respecter of persons. He doesn’t play favorites and all of His promises are there for the taking to any and all that are willing to walk in the Spirit. Rather than sit around all week waiting for Sunday to come so that you can go to some building and wait for someone to get you stirred up again why not spend your time in the word of God seeking the Lord for yourself; building up your own confidence and assurance so that you can get out of your stagnant lifestyle and walk in the newness of life that is rightfully yours. Instead of lying around hoping something will happen, get up and walk uprightly in the Spirit and get back on the path of life. John 5:5-9 And a certain man was there, which had an infirmity thirty and eight years. When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole? The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me. Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk. And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked: and on the same day was the sabbath. (KJV) If you notice, the Lord himself didn’t give credence to their belief about an angel showing up and stirring the waters. Neither did the Lord wait around for this so called angel to show up so that he could push this man into the water first. Rather He was able to give the truth to a man that had been afflicted for so many years. The Lord set a perfect example for us of how we should be ready always to give an answer of the truth to those that we encounter who have been caught up with a false belief that something in the outward would bring a healing and restoration to the inward. Only the truth can set one free. And only the word of God is able to provide the healing and make one whole; spirit, soul, and body. Our purpose in life is to point those that we come in contact with on a daily basis to the Father through His Son Jesus Christ so that they can access the One true healer and not be afflicted with the bondage of sin and sickness again. Many of us have spent time in the past afflicted and spiritually impotent; not able to walk a consistent path in the Spirit, but falling short because of sin. But now, having been set free, it is time to get up; arise from your spiritual slumber and sickness, and walk the path of life Father has for you. Walk in the blessing of healing and restoration. John 5:10-11 The Jews therefore said unto him that was cured, It is the sabbath day: it is not lawful for thee to carry thy bed. He answered them, He that made me whole, the same said unto me, Take up thy bed, and walk. (KJV) Watch out and beware, because just as quick as the Lord gets you back on your feet, the devil and his workers will be right there again to get you to fall back to your old ways. Many today are still so caught up in the letter of the law that they miss the blessing of the Spirit. And rather than continue in the restoration they end up weak and on their backside again; the latter worse than the beginning. So beware of man-made stagnant doctrines that keep many in bondage to physical laws and religious regulations rather than accessing the One spiritual healer that actually makes house calls free of charge, and is available 24/7, 365 days a year. 1 Corinthians 11:27-30 Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup. For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body. For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep. (KJV) We still see, to this day, many who are weak and sickly because they don’t know the difference and do not take the time to discern what is of God and what is not; and so they end up drinking from polluted wells instead the pure living waters. Many do not take the time to dig deep enough into the well of life to find pure living waters. Instead they settle for easier to reach stagnant pools that are toxic and unhealthy. 2 Corinthians 3:6 Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life. (KJV) The sad thing about reading the account in John 5 is that many of those around the pool (as many are still today) were actually believers, those that were seeking the answer. But as so many believers today, many are still being knocked down, ending up on their backside again, because they look and hold to the letter of the law rather than the Spirit to find true life and peace. So be ready Church, that when you get a spiritual 911 call from one of God’s people in distress you can follow the example the Lord gave to the man at the pool and give the right spiritual medicine; to all those that have been miss diagnosed and have had a bad reaction to mans’ doctrinal medicine. Fresh Bread from Above Every day is a new day for the fresh bread and pure living water that comes down from heaven from God our Father, which is more precious than silver and gold that perishes; it is a gift of life continually if we choose to partake of it. Taste and see that the Lord is good, for blessed is the man that trusts in him. Revelation 22:1 And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. (KJV) Proverbs 30:5 Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. (KJV) Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is quick (living), and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. (KJV) Today is the day of salvation, now faith, and we are to seek first each day the kingdom of God and his righteousness, so that we can receive the daily fresh bread that our Father has prepared for us that will sustain us spiritually. It is our Father’s good pleasure to give us the kingdom (behold, the kingdom of God is within you). So, ask and it shall be given, seek and you shall find, knock and it shall be opened unto you. The Lord Jesus Christ said, “I am the bread of life: he that comes to me shall never hunger and he that believes on me shall never thirst” (John 6:35, Ref. John 4:6-24 and John 7:38); and “I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread (his example, and continue in his word), he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh (a living sacrifice), which I will give for the life of the world” (John 6:51). 1 Peter 2:21-24 For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps: (22) Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth: (23) Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously: (24) Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. (KJV) John 8:31-32 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. (KJV) Matthew 16:24-26 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. (25) For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it. (26) For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? (KJV) Romans 12:1-2 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. (2) And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. (KJV) Partaking of the bread of life daily will renew your mind on things above where Christ sits at the right hand of God, and not on the things of this life. Remember, it is the Spirit that gives life, the flesh profits nothing; the words that he speaks to us they are spirit, and they are life (John 6:63), living water, and in them death is swallowed up in victory. Christ is the power and wisdom of God (1 Corinthians 1:24) and without Christ we can do nothing, he is our living bread, for God made this same Jesus who was crucified on our behalf that we might have life and have it more abundantly, both Lord and Christ (Acts 2:36). James 3:17-18 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. (18) And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace. (KJV) Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption, is our living bread. This wisdom from above produces the fruit of righteousness (right standing with God), that is sown in peace by them that make peace with God, coming into agreement with his Word (Christ). Matthew 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. (KJV) Are you listening? Faith by hearing, and hearing by the word of God; faith comes from a Message heard, and that Message comes through its having been spoken directly to our heart, by Christ. The words that he speaks unto us, they are spirit, and they are life. Our living bread, Christ in us the hope of glory. The witness of God is greater than the witness of men. The ingredients in our fresh bread that bear record from above are the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit and these three are one (God). And there are three that bear witness in earth (in us, an earthen vessel), the Spirit, and the water, and the blood, and these three agree in one, Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. From this comes our daily bread and in no other way can it come. And in no way can you partake of it but by and through Jesus Christ. And in no other way can you worship the Father but in Spirit and in truth. Mans’ traditions and doctrines, as well as interpretations of the scriptures are additives in which they deceive the people in believing they are receiving fresh bread with pure simple healthy ingredients; when in reality they are receiving day or days old store bought bread full of unhealthy ingredients which do nothing to edify the body, spiritually or physically; they corrupt the word of God and the simplicity that is in Christ. They promise liberty but they themselves are the servants of corruption because they don’t know the true bread and living water sent down from heaven. You, and you alone are responsible for seeking out your daily fresh bread from above. We are to work out our own salvation with fear and trembling, knowing that it is God who works in us both to will and to do of his good pleasure. Your fresh bread with simple pure ingredients from our Father above is waiting for you. Will you partake of it, and learn to overcome the world within you through his instruction today? 1 Corinthians 10:17 For we being many are one bread, and one body: for we are all partakers of that one bread. To be able to draw from these waters you need to draw near unto God through his Son Jesus Christ and He will draw near unto you; you need to dig into the word of God, like digging a well, to get to these living waters that are life sustaining to our walk in the Spirit. He will enlighten the eyes of your understanding to continually drink of the well of water of life, which is in Christ. For by one Spirit we are baptized into one body, the body of Christ, and we have been made to drink into one Spirit, one well of life-giving water, Christ in you the hope of glory. There are many tainted wells out there (teaching the traditions and doctrines of men), and there are many which are drinking of those wells unaware of where the water is coming from, which is why we are encouraged to dig our own well (work out our own salvation with fear and trembling; for it is God who works in you both to will and to do of His good pleasure), and drink from the pure river of life that is crystal clear, full of spirit and truth, coming directly out of the throne of God and of the Lamb (Jesus Christ) and where you don't need man's interpretation of God's Word as God our Father by his Son Jesus Christ, has given unto his Holy Spirit, who will teach you, and lead and guide you into all truth, the crystal clear waters of life flowing through you into eternal life. Monday, October 25, 2010 Looking Within Luke 17:19-21 And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole. (20) And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: (21) Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you. (KJV) A leper who was healed and made whole again returned to give thanks to our Lord, who at that time was manifest in the flesh. Now that our Lord has moved on, and is seated at the right hand of the Father, our search for truth needs to take place within, so that we can see the answer that our Lord has for us to be whole. A life in the past dictated by outward things is now done away in Christ, so that all things can become new. When you need an answer, when something is lacking and you need to be made whole, learning to look within is the only place that you will find the Lord’s response, an answer with some real substance. John 14:26-27 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. (27) Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. (KJV) The reason that our Lord was manifest in the flesh was so that He could pay the price for our sin. Our Lord delivered a perfect sacrifice to our Father that He accepted once and for all, and then sent us a Comforter so that we could be comforted from within, and no longer have to live a life based on outward circumstances. The world and the so called peace it brings, is based on outward things that can never bring comfort because they change and fluctuate with the times. The peace of God is like God, it never changes nor is altered by any outward events. Are you experiencing this peace today, or are you troubled with cares and concerns of this world, things that our Lord said He would handle for us? Colossians 3:14-15 And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness. (15) And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful. (KJV) Many people claim that they are serving our Lord, yet their decisions are based on the outward and not an inward vision. Without a vision God’s own people perish, because they limit God by their own limited carnal minds. Are you letting the peace of God rule today, or are you settling for the path of least resistance? Philippians 4:6-7 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. (7) And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. (KJV) Again, we are encouraged not to be careful, troubled, or anxious about outward things, but rather our attention is now focused on a new inward man that is coming to life and having a greater influence on us than anyone or anything in this fallen world. The peace of God passes our limited carnal understanding, and goes straight to the Head of the class. Today's video Personal Effects is on the topic of when you sin against the brethren, you sin against Christ; the effects are personal. Matthew 7:21-23 (KJV) Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. (22) Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? (23) And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. (KJV) Everything which is done to a follower of Christ, whether it be good or evil, the Lord considers as done to himself. We are to nourish and cherish the members of the body of Christ even as the Lord does the church, which we are if we abide in his love; for we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. Remember his prayer in John 17, specifically verses 20-23. Matthew 25:31-41 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: (32) And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: (33) And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. (34) Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: (35) For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: (36) Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body. (KJV) Watch and pray always and consider what you say and what you do. Look not on your own things, but on the things of others; follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith you may edify another. Sanctify the Lord God in your hearts and be ready to give an answer to anyone who asks the reason of the hope that is within you, which hope is Christ (1 Timothy 1:1; Colossians 1:27). Ephesians 4:15-16 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: (16) From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love. (KJV) Ephesians 6:18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; (KJV) All members are needful, and God sets them in the body as he sees fit (read 1 Corinthians 12). If you or anyone else comes against any part of the body, you come against God and his Christ. The effects to the body are personal to our Father and our Lord Jesus Christ. So be aware that what we say or do can have a personal effect on the body of Christ; we are members one of another; and we are not our own. 1 Corinthians 12:18 But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him. (KJV) Romans 12:5 So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another. (KJV) 1 Corinthians 12:12 For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ. (KJV) Colossians 1:24 Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body's sake, which is the church: (KJV) Further references: James 2:15-16, 1 John 3:16-18, Deuteronomy 15:7-8, Luke 6:20-38, Proverbs 3:27-28, James 5:13-20, 1 Timothy 4:1-16, 2 Timothy 2:24-26, Proverbs 19:17, Colossians 3:23-24 There are many who corrupt the word of God and crucify the Son of God afresh. But there is still a remnant (few) who continue to hold forth the word of God in sincerity and in truth to the edification of the body of Christ and his glory. The personal effects are eternal; whether it be the sheep on the right hand of the Lord who have done the will of God, blessed of the Father, who will inherit the kingdom prepared for them from the foundation of the world, or whether it be the goats on the left who the Lord considers workers of iniquity and told them to depart from him into everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels. With what measure you mete; it shall be measured unto you again. As for us personally, we will continue to serve the Lord Jesus Christ, effectually ministering and holding forth the gospel of Christ in sincerity and in truth for his body’s sake and all those who shall believe on him through our word. There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ. (KJV) Galatians 3:16 Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ. (KJV) There is one body, one Spirit, one Lord, one faith, one baptism, and one God and Father of all; and we have been born again of His incorruptible seed, which is Christ. John 12:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit. (KJV) Think of yourself as the corn of wheat, you were born into this corruptible world, and have grown in the ground of life on earth, the cares of this life and the deceitfulness of riches entered in and the seed of life within you abided alone; hidden behind the veil of the heart which was serving the corruptible seed of Satan. But when you choose to die to this world, something miraculous happened; the seed of life, which is Christ, began to grow within you. You were born again, of the Spirit of God, and the seed of life no longer abides alone, but has the God of all creation, the husbandman, the tiller of the heart to nourish His seed in the good ground (the mind of Christ) so that it may bring forth much fruit; that being the fruit of the Spirit. Galatians 5:22-24 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. (KJV) The more we die to self, crucifying the flesh with the affections and lusts, the more we will bring forth fruit unto perfection. If we sow to the flesh of the flesh shall we reap corruption; if we sow to the Spirit of the Spirit shall we reap everlasting life. Many of this life are abiding alone, without hope, the seed of life hidden; the eyes of their understanding of it blinded by the god of this world. We were once in this state of life, but now having been born again in the Spirit of the incorruptible seed of God, which is Christ, the eyes of our understanding have been enlightened so… Ephesians 1:18-23 that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all. (KJV) No longer born of the corruptible seed, but of the incorruptible seed which is Christ, the pure word of God. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God has before ordained that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:11-13 Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands; That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. (KJV) Watch and pray always dear brethren in Christ, that the ground (mind) of your heart remains nourished up in the Word of God, the living waters that bring forth fruit, some thirty (good), and some sixty (acceptable), and some hundredfold (perfect) in all goodness, and righteousness, and truth which is the will of God. This week's video The Son - Part13 is on the topic of who the Son of God is; the body is of Christ. Dearly loved of God our Father and our Lord Jesus Christ, and of us; we have been baptized into Christ by the Holy Spirit. We were grafted into the true vine, which is Christ, by our Father in Heaven who is the husbandman who sets every branch in the vine. You can be grafted in when you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior; and you can be cutoff due to unbelief just as the natural branches were. So don’t take for granted your place in the vine and boast against the other branches. Now as Christ is that true vine, He is the head of the body; the body of Christ of which we are all members one of another, and should have the same care one of another. God has placed each member in the body where He sees fit and it is up to each of us to find out what our place is and how to operate where He has placed us to the edification of the rest of the body. Ephesians 4:11-16 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love. (KJV) Now that doesn’t mean that when God placed us in the body in the beginning that, that is where He would have us to remain. As we grow up into Christ, and remain faithful in all our house (spirit, soul, and body) He may move us to another part of the body to fill up that which may be lacking so that the body can remain fitly joined together, compacted by that which every joint supplies, as working effectually in the measure of faith, that the body may increase (that He may increase, and we, our old nature may decrease) unto the edifying of itself in love. The more we allow Christ to remain our Head, the more the body becomes likeminded; serving one another in love; and to love is to lay down our lives for the body (dying to self). 1 John 3:16-18 Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him? My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth. (KJV) The rest of our time on this earth, abiding in Christ in the Spirit, is no longer about us, but about the Head, Christ, and His body of believers. Do you want to be an effective member of the body? Then begin with getting to know who your Head is; take up your cross, crucifying your old nature, and follow Him growing in grace and in the knowledge of who He is and where He would have you to operate each day in the body to the edification of the body. That when He presents His Church, His body, unto God you will be a part of it, Holy and un-blamable in God’s sight. Our ministry is of Christ, as the body is of Christ. Remember, a body without a head is dead; and so will we be if we do not keep Christ as the Head of our body remaining grafted in the true vine; we will be as the branches cut off and cast forth unto men and burned.
