In each and every situation, in each and every instance we have the choice and also the ability to yield ourselves to God and comply with that which we have heard.
James 4:17 Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin. (KJV) Don’t yield your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin, but yield yourselves unto God and purge out the old leaven that keeps you separated from a deeper and more intimate relationship with Him. My dear brethren I pray that in all things you would continue to hold forth the word of life in sincerity and in truth, yielding this day and every day unto the will of God and not that of yourself. God bless and have a prosperous day in Christ Jesus our Lord. Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance (firm trust) of things hoped (expected) for, the evidence (conviction) of things not seen. (KJV)
Romans 8:24 For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for? (25) But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it. (26) Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. (27) And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God. (28) And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. (KJV) Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. (KJV) Romans 8:15 This resurrection life you received from God is not a timid, grave-tending life. It’s adventurously expectant, greeting God with a childlike “What’s next, Papa?” (from The Message translation) My beloved brethren, be adventurously expectant when you wake up each morning, and greet God with a childlike “What’s next, Papa?”, and continue forward, walking in now faith knowing that you have sought first His kingdom and righteousness and all that you have need of Spiritually and physically shall be added unto you. As well, hold fast the profession of faith without wavering; keep your focus on and press toward, the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus; and walk in an attitude of heart and mind that in all things you will expect nothing less than the best from our Father in heaven, because your heart’s desire is to give Him your best in return. Psalm 37:4 Delight thyself also in the LORD: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. (KJV) 2 Corinthians 6:18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty. (KJV) God bless and have a prosperous day in Christ Jesus our Lord. Even through our example we can corrupt the word of God by not walking honestly among those who are outside the body of Christ, the Gentiles. Read Romans 2:17-24, and then read it in this way…
Behold, thou art called a Christian, and restest in the law of faith, and makest they boast of God, And knewest his will, and approves the things that are more excellent, being instructed out of the law of faith; And art confident that thou thyself art a guide of the blind, a light of them which are in darkness, An instructor of the foolish, a teacher of babes, which hast the form of knowledge and of the truth in the law of faith. Thou therefore which teachest another, teachest not thyself? thou that preaches a man should not steal, dost thou steal from God? Thou that sayest a man should not commit adultery, dost thou commit adultery against God? Thou that abhorrest idols, dost thou commit sacrilege against the knowledge of God by worshiping the creature more than the Creator? Thou that makest thy boast of the law of faith, through breaking the law of faith dishonourest thou God? For the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you, as it is written. 1Corinthians 6:13 But he that is joined unto the Lord is one Spirit. (KJV) Ephesians 5:30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. (KJV) We are a representative of Him, a royal priesthood, and in nothing should the ministry be blamed; in other words, that there be no appearance of evil, but that which ministers grace and presents the love of God to all. Titus 3:1-8 Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work, (2) To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men. (3) For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another. (4) But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, (5) Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; (6) Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; (7) That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life. (8) This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men. (KJV) My beloved brethren, be not as the many which corrupt the word of God, but as of the few who continue to hold forth the Word of life in sincerity and in truth. God bless and have a prosperous day in Christ Jesus our Lord. Matthew 5:8 Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God. (KJV) Be not weary in well doing, for in due season you shall reap, if you faint not.
Romans 2:7 To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life: (KJV) 1 Peter 2:15 For so is the will of God, that with well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men: (KJV) 1 Peter 3:17 For it is better, if the will of God be so, that ye suffer for well doing, than for evil doing. (KJV) 1 Peter 4:19 Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator. (KJV) Acts 20:16-24 For Paul had determined to sail by Ephesus, because he would not spend the time in Asia: for he hasted, if it were possible for him, to be at Jerusalem the day of Pentecost. (17) And from Miletus he sent to Ephesus, and called the elders of the church. (18) And when they were come to him, he said unto them, Ye know, from the first day that I came into Asia, after what manner I have been with you at all seasons, (19) Serving the LORD with all humility of mind, and with many tears, and temptations, which befell me by the lying in wait of the Jews: (20) And how I kept back nothing that was profitable unto you, but have shewed you, and have taught you publicly, and from house to house, (21) Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ. (22) And now, behold, I go bound in the spirit unto Jerusalem, not knowing the things that shall befall me there: (23) Save that the Holy Ghost witnesseth in every city, saying that bonds and afflictions abide me. (24) But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God. (KJV) 2 Corinthians 12:9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. (KJV) My beloved brethren, His grace is sufficient; be not wearied, but strong in the Lord and in the power of His might, and continue in well doing for great is your reward in Heaven. Matthew 5:11-12 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. (12) Rejoice, and be exceedingly glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you. (KJV) 2 Timothy 4:7-8 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: (8) Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing. (KJV) God bless and have a prosperous day in Christ Jesus our Lord. Be wise in your thoughts, and useful in your actions. Your thoughts will bring you to where you are today and take you to where you will be tomorrow.
What are you thinking on, pondering? Is it uplifting or is it pulling you down into a pit of despair. Are your thoughts leading to peace? Being renewed in the spirit of your mind with the Word of God will lead you in peace and strength to walk in obedience and allow you to overcome the cares and concerns of everyday life; casting all your care upon God so that He can do the caring for you and lead you in peace. Your mind renewed on a daily basis will keep you operating with the mind of Christ and walking in the Spirit so as to not fulfill the lusts of the flesh by the leading of the carnal mind; which as you know can easily bring about thoughts that can lead to sin, despair, and spiritual death if not dealt with immediately. 2 Corinthians 10:3-6 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (4) (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) (5) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; (6) And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled. (KJV) Dearly loved, a mind renewed is a beautiful thing; so think on things which are true, honest, just, pure, lovely, and of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things so that you can be led by the Spirit today in doing the will of God and being prepared for whatever tomorrow brings. Ephesians 5:15-17 See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, (16) Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. (17) Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is. (KJV) Let your steps be ordered by the Lord and then you shall delight in His way. God bless and have a prosperous day in Christ Jesus our Lord. Proverbs 16:3 Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established. |
