Good morning. This week's video The Son - Part4 on the topic of who the Son of God is; the complete name of the Son. Jesus Christ is the complete name which God acknowledges and allows you access to His throne. Acts 4:10-12 Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. (KJV) Many today use only the name of Jesus when they pray, which leaves the door open to the devil to hinder the prayer because they did not close the door with Christ, the power and wisdom of God which cannot be refuted of the devil. In the account of the seven sons of Sceva they tried to cast out evil spirits only in the name of Jesus and as you read the account they were overcome and fled naked out of the house. Acts 19:13-17 Then certain of the vagabond Jews, exorcists, took upon them to call over them which had evil spirits the name of the Lord Jesus, saying, We adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preacheth. And there were seven sons of one Sceva, a Jew, and chief of the priests, which did so. And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye? And the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, and overcame them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded. (KJV) Remember that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Jesus Christ tells you who he is, and what his name is. He never said he was God, but always acknowledged God as his Father in heaven. He even said “I am in the Father, and the Father in me”; just as we are in Christ, and Christ is in us (John 15). Matthew 16:15-17 He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. (KJV) John 4:22-26 Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews. But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things. Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am he. (KJV) Matthew 24:5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. (KJV) John 17:3-5 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do. And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was. (KJV) John 20:31 But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name. (KJV) There is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; the name above every name. And in this name, Jesus Christ, we have life and life more abundantly. Without Christ, Jesus could not have overcome the world; and neither can we do anything without Christ. If we abide in Him, He will abide in us; if we deny Him, He will deny us before God; in other words, if we don’t know His Son, then He will not know us. 1 John 3:21-23 Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God. And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight. And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment. (KJV) 1 John 5:13-15 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him. You can’t have the Son without the Father also. You have to know the Son, to know the Father. So allow the eyes of your understanding to be enlightened to who the Son is, and you shall know the Father also. John 14:1-11 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know. Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way? Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him. Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us. Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father? Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake. (KJV) Now why would Jesus say to Philip, “he that hath seen me hath seen the Father”, when Jesus was standing right in front of him? The scriptures are clear… 2 Corinthians 5:16 Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more. (KJV) We are not to know Christ (the son given) after the flesh (Jesus, the child born), but after the Spirit. It was Christ within Jesus of Nazareth (Acts 10:38; 1Cor 1:24), which allowed him to lead a life without sin. Christ is the word of God, Christ is who God is, His character. And so many are stuck on Jesus, the veil still over their eyes (2 Cor 4:4), as was the time of Moses in the reading of the law; they have become no different than the Pharisees’ and Sadducees’ in the time of Jesus, and have not allowed the veil, as it was for Saul (Paul), to be taken away as the scales that fell from his eyes to see the Lord’s Christ; as also for Simeon and Anna (Luke 2:25-32 & 36-38). As well as the following… Matthew 16:13-17 When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am? And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets. He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. (KJV) John 6:65-69 And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father. From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him. Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away? Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life. And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God. (KJV) In this we do honour the Father; if we chose to acknowledge His Son Christ whom He sent. When we choose to lay down our lives to get to know His Son, then the eyes of our understanding will be enlightened to who God is, our Father in heaven. And we will daily be transformed into their image, and after their likeness just as Jesus of Nazareth was when he walked this earth. John 5:23-24 That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him. 24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. (KJV) Is this the end that you want for your life? To stand before God and not know His Son because you chose to listen to men who deny Christ the Son of the living God, and had not chosen to allow the Holy Spirit to lead and guide you into all truth concerning His Son so that you may know Him the only true God and Jesus Christ whom He sent. 1 John 2:23 Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also. This week's video The Son - Part2 is on the topic of who the Son of God is; the power and wisdom of God is Christ, the Son of the living God. Jesus of Nazareth was born a natural man first, just as we were; he was also the first born (born again) among many brethren, having accepted God’s plan of salvation for mankind through the leading of the spirit of Christ within him and overcame the lusts and desires of the flesh, the natural man, and was made perfect through sufferings. Jesus of Nazareth died daily to the wants and desires of the flesh, allowing the power of God, Christ in him the hope of glory, to provide the strength and wisdom to overcome the flesh or natural man (the nature of sin due to the fall of the first man Adam), and resurrect him into a new creation, taking on the divine nature, the second Adam, Christ, the Lord of glory. God made this same Jesus both Lord and Christ. Lord because he overcame the natural man sold under sin; Christ because he allowed the divine nature of God to increase within him being led by the Spirit and overcame the wicked one. In Christ we have the power and wisdom of God to overcome the natural man (the nature of sin due to the fall of the first man Adam), so that we can allow the divine nature of the second man Adam (Christ in us the hope of glory), to increase and take over in our lives. Acts 10:36-38 The word which God sent unto the children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ: (he is Lord of all:) 37 That word, I say, ye know, which was published throughout all Judaea, and began from Galilee, after the baptism which John preached; 38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him. Tuesday Jesus ate an early-evening Passover meal with His disciples (at the beginning of Nisan 14, Jewish reckoning) and instituted the New Covenant symbols (Matthew 26:26-28). Jesus was then betrayed by Judas, arrested and during the night brought before the high priest. Wednesday Jesus was crucified and died around 3 p.m. (Matthew 27:46-50). This was the preparation day for the annual, not weekly, Sabbath, which began that evening (Mark 15:42; Luke 23:54; John 19:31). Jesus' body was placed in the tomb at twilight (Matthew 27:57-60). Thursday This was the high-day Sabbath, the first day of Unleavened Bread (John 19:31; Leviticus 23:4-7). It is described as the day after the Day of Preparation (Matthew 27:62). Friday The high-day Sabbath now past, women bought and prepared spices for anointing Jesus' body (Mark 16:1; Luke 23:56). Saturday The women rested on the weekly Sabbath, according to the Fourth Commandment (Luke 23:56; Exodus 20:8-11). Jesus rose around sunset, exactly three days and three nights (72 hours) after burial, to fulfill the sign of Jonah. Sunday The women brought the prepared spices early in the morning while it was still dark (Luke 24:1; John 20:1). Jesus had already risen (Matthew 28:1-6; Mark 16:2-6; Luke 24:2-3; John 20:1). Today's video Gospel of Your Salvation is on the topic of the gospel of your salvation is personal between you and God in his Son, Christ Jesus. Ephesians 1:3-14 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved. In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace; Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence; Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself: That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him: In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will: 12 That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ. 13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise, Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory. (KJV) The word gospel means good news. The good news is not limited to Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John which are referred to as the gospels by many. The entire written word of God is the gospel of your salvation, as well as anything you hear personally from God for your walk in the Spirit while here on earth; because it is written, that man does not live by bread alone (the written word), but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. The word of God is not bound in a book; it is living and powerful and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart; yesterday, today, and forever. The plan of salvation has a Chief corner stone, Jesus Christ our Lord, which sad to say many builders have rejected, but who is blessed forevermore and seated at the right hand of God. For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. If we are not allowing God to build our spiritual house by and through His Son Christ Jesus, the leading of the Holy Spirit within us, then who is building it; what will the outcome of it be? Will it be fit for the Master’s use? Ephesians 2:19-22 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God; And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: In whom ye also are built together for an habitation of God through the Spirit. (KJV) God has the only copy of the blueprint of your life (the gospel of your salvation; personal) which he determined for you before the foundation of the world, which he will share with you personally as you continue to abide in his Son, Christ Jesus, and seek him on a daily basis to know what he desires for you. Even if his good news for you today comes in the form of correction because he desires the best for you and your life. He wants you to remain in the plan of salvation, enduring correction and instruction in righteousness, that you may receive the end of your faith, even the salvation of your soul. And if you lack wisdom in anything that comes along in your life, go to God first through his Son Jesus Christ in faith nothing wavering, and ask him who will give you liberally that which you need, so that your faith does not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the wisdom and power of God; Christ in you the hope of glory. Our Father has a plan for you; so with the leading and guiding of the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of truth who will lead and guide you into all truth, his spirit bearing witness with your spirit, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling knowing that it is God which works in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure. He has a purpose and plan personally for you and your life; so do know dearly loved, all things work together for the good to them that love God, to those who are the called according to his purpose. The origin of the doctrine of Christmas comes from a pagan celebration known as Saturnalia which was instituted by the Roman government in which they commemorated the dedication of the temple of the god of Saturn, which to them was the god of agriculture and harvest; the celebration concluded on December 25th. In the 4th century the Roman Catholic religious organization adopted the Saturnalia celebration hoping to convert the pagan masses to Christianity by promising them that they could continue to celebrate their Saturnalia as Christmas; then later the so called Christian leaders assigned the date of December 25th to be Jesus birthday. For a more in-depth explanation as to the origin of Christmas look up “Saturnalia” on the internet. So as you can see Christmas, or December 25th has nothing to do with Christ or the day of the birth of Jesus. It did not come from God, but came from so called Christian leaders who choose to compromise so that they could try to fit the world into the Church; and now we have a lie being taught throughout the Church even unto this day. As a reminder the body of Christ or body of believers (Christians), are the Church. Now most people would say what is the big deal? Well for one, if so called Christian leaders compromised on this, what else have they compromised on to fit the world into the Church? Look around you? What do you see happening in the Church concerning other doctrines of man? By these false doctrines many in the Church have become weak, sickly and are fallen asleep spiritually; they hold to the traditions and doctrines of man, and if anyone comes to them with the truth of the gospel and doctrine of Christ they are offended. Luke 16:13-15 No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. And the Pharisees also, who were covetous, heard all these things: and they derided him. And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God. (KJV) Doesn’t this sound just like in the time of our Lord Jesus Christ when he walked this earth and came against the traditions and doctrines of man? And what happened to him in the end? Are you as willing to die striving against sin and for the preaching and teaching of the truth of God’s word? You cannot serve God and mammon, or man’s traditions and doctrines. You are either with God or against him. James 4:4-5 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God. Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy? (KJV) If you want to get together with your family on this day, keep it in the proper perspective and balance; knowing that it has nothing to do with truth, but that its origins are deeply rooted in a pagan celebration unto another god; and do not attach the lie that it is Jesus’s birthday or that we have to keep Christ in Christmas in compromise. Which by the way, if Jesus Christ were here, he would have nothing to do with it in the first place but would be speaking out against it. He is our example and we have been encouraged to speak truth to every man. Jeremiah 10:2-5 Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them. For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe. They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not. (KJV) Psalms 135:15-18 The idols of the heathen are silver and gold, the work of men's hands. They have mouths, but they speak not; eyes have they, but they see not; They have ears, but they hear not; neither is there any breath in their mouths. They that make them are like unto them: so is every one that trusteth in them. (KJV) We as Christians are supposed to be the rule, and not the exception. We are in this world, but we are not to be of this world. We are to come out from among them and be separate so that we may escape that which will come upon the sons of disobedience and be accepted of God our Father in his Son Christ Jesus. Are you worshiping God in spirit and in truth; or are you worshiping the idols of men through their traditions and doctrines? 1 Kings 18:21 And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? if the LORD be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word. (KJV) Will you be silent? Will you compromise to fit into the world or try to fit the world in you? Joshua 24:14-15 Now therefore fear the LORD, and serve him in sincerity and in truth: and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt; and serve ye the LORD. And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD. (KJV) Balance comes from God and his word. Dearly loved seek truth and peace and pursue it, and you will find the just weight and balance of how to live a godly life here on earth without compromising to fit into it or its ways no matter the day. Today's video Flood of Ungodliness is on the topic: the way of man is not in himself, it is not in man that walks to direct his steps. Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. (KJV) No man knows the plan of salvation except it be revealed unto them on a daily basis. Many think salvation is accomplished once; when in fact it is a continual process. Those who endure unto the end will be saved. Each person’s plan of salvation is ordered of the Lord, not based on a plan that man says it should be; for the way of the Lord is not in himself. The way is the same, by and through Jesus Christ; but the plan is different for each person; God had a plan for your salvation from the beginning; which is why you are encouraged to work out your own salvation based on the leading and guiding of the Holy Spirit. 1 Corinthians 2:9-14 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. (KJV) Proverbs 20:24 Man's goings are of the LORD; how can a man then understand his own way? (KJV) The flood of ungodliness involves many ways, many doctrines, many idols, and many gods that mankind has purposed in themselves; none of which have been ordered of the Lord. Many are partaking as in the days of Noah; many have erred from the faith, having forsaken the right way and are following the way of Balaam who loved the wages of unrighteousness (2 Peter 2:15-22) and overthrow the faith of others bringing them into bondage again. Few are following after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, and meekness of the One; the Holy One of Israel who died to save us from destruction, who is risen and seated at the right hand of God that we might have life and have life more abundantly, that being Christ Jesus our Lord. Ephesians 4:4-7 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ. Whether we live we live unto the Lord; whether we die we die unto the Lord; whether we live or we die we are the Lord’s. No man’s life is his own; God said that all souls are his. An account of our soul will be required of us at the day of judgement. Will your account be based on man’s traditions and doctrines or will it be based on the doctrine of Christ, knowing the Father and the Son; having honored them in spirit and in truth by following their way and plan of salvation prescribed for you from the foundation of the world? You are not your own; you were bought with a price. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him. We have an advocate, Jesus Christ our Lord who is able to save us from the flood of ungodliness; not only of this world, but of them who profess to know God but are workers of iniquity. Your salvation is your responsibility, so… Luke 21:36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man. (KJV) God bless Church; follow the leading of the Holy Spirit which will enlighten the eyes of your understanding to God’s plan of salvation for you that he proposed from the beginning and to the way, the truth and the life which he has given you to know in his Son. Today's video The Knowledge... is on the topic of the knowledge, the truth, the faith..., singular, according to the word of God. 1 Timothy 2:4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. (KJV) Unto us it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God (Mark 4:11). How will you come to the knowledge of the mystery and of the truth that is in Jesus; and which is in you? John 16:13-15 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you. All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you. (KJV) We have an unction from the Holy One and we know all things; the kingdom of God is within us (Luke 17:20-21). Now it is a matter of allowing the Spirit of truth to guide us into the knowledge and the truth which has been given unto us to know; Christ in you the hope of glory. Ephesians 4:20-21 But ye have not so learned Christ; If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus: (KJV) When you have lifted up the son of man (removed the veil of the flesh; looking beyond the man Jesus), then you shall come to the knowledge of the truth (John 8:28); and the truth shall make you free to walk in the liberty of the knowledge of the truth; Christ in you the hope of glory. There are many who are ever learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth because they are following the traditions and doctrines of man and have errored from the way of truth, from allowing the Spirit of truth to guide them into all truth, and have settled for religion; and have now been brought into bondage again by those who have promised them liberty, but they themselves are the servants of corruption because they themselves never came to the knowledge of the truth and have corrupted the word of God; worshiping the creation (Jesus) more than the Creator (God). If we lack this wisdom and knowledge, it is up to each of us to ask God in faith (believing him to be faithful) for it to be revealed unto you; then diligently seek to know, and you shall find the truth, for God is a rewarder of them who diligently seek him. He will reveal it unto you. Draw nigh unto God and he will draw nigh unto you. Matthew 7:7-11 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone? Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent? If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him? (KJV) The knowledge and the truth is spiritually discerned which is why God sent his Son (Christ) into the world by Jesus to make the way, the truth, and the life known unto you; and has now sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts so that you might know the things that are freely given unto you of God. To know the Father is to know his Son; to know the Son is to know the Father and to be known of them is to know the knowledge and the truth which is in you. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. Today's video Reconcile is on the topic of being reconciled to God by Jesus Christ that we might be counted worthy to partake of the marriage feast of the Lamb of God. 2 Corinthians 5:18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; (KJV) We are a living example, a ministry, of the reconciliation that happened in our own lives; that now in Christ we have peace and fellowship restored with God through his Son. Now the light of the glorious gospel of Christ shining in our hearts, giving forth the knowledge of God in the face of Jesus Christ, being ready to give an answer to every man who asks a reason of the hope that is within us. Salvation is a plan of eternal reconciliation. We have been cleansed with the washing of the Word being reconciled in preparation for the marriage feast of the Lamb and given a garment of righteousness. Now it is up to each of us to keep our garment unspotted from the world; that includes from our own righteousness, again, which is as a filthy rag. Now Christ is our righteousness and without him we cannot stand clean before God the Father nor partake of the marriage feast of the Lamb. 1 Corinthians 1:30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption: (KJV) Galatians 3:26-27 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. (KJV) If we don’t come before the throne clothed in the righteousness of God, which is Christ, then we will not be considered one of his; and will be cast out into utter darkness where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Which means that we will not be partaking of the marriage feast of the Lamb (read Revelation 19:7-9). 2 Timothy 2:19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity. Will it be in clean white linen, the wedding garment, partaking of the marriage feast of the Lamb of God, or will it be in filthy rags because you allowed your clean garment that you were given at the reconciliation to become spotted by the world? 1 John 2:15-17 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
