Another Spirit
 
Numbers 14:22-24 Because all those men which have seen my glory, and my miracles, which I did in Egypt and in the wilderness, and have tempted me now these ten times, and have not hearkened to my voice; 23 Surely they shall not see the land which I swore unto their fathers, neither shall any of them that provoked me see it: 24 But my servant Caleb, because he had another spirit with him, and hath followed me fully, him will I bring into the land where into he went; and his seed shall possess it. (KJV)
 
Church, in conclusion for this week, don’t be like many who settle for inferior doctrines and things of this world that will not get you home. It is going to take another Spirit for you to get to the promised land and only those that are led by the Spirit of Christ are going to make it there.
 
John 14:16-18 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever; 17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it sees him not, neither knows him: but ye know him; for he dwells with you, and shall be in you. 18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. (KJV)
 
If you spend much of your time looking to others for comfort, why not start looking within to find the real comfort that will last forever? The whole reason why God sent His Son for us is so that His Spirit could be poured out on all mankind; so they would have Him to rely on, instead of the spirit filled with fear that you settled for in the past.
 
John 15:26-27 But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceeds from the Father, he shall testify of me:  27 And ye also shall bear witness, because ye have been with me from the beginning. (KJV)
 
The question I have for the Church today is simple, are you going to allow someone other than the God Himself through the Holy Spirit dictate His plan of salvation to you? I have tried everything else under the sun and had not found any real comfort until I allowed the Holy Spirit to lead and guide me into all truth.
 
Romans 8:9-10 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man has not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. 10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. (KJV)
 
If it is not the doctrine of Christ then it will not get you home. That body or old man is now dead to outward things because you are able to see within the kingdom of God and know for yourself who you are in Christ, and this eliminates all fear and doubt.
 
I John 4:3-5 And every spirit that confesses not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. 4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. 5 They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world hears them. (KJV)
 
I hear so many who only see the outward man, Jesus of Nazareth after the flesh, without realizing who Christ was within this man which was able to have a greater influence in His walk. If you desire to enter into the promised land of the Spirit then you will have to allow Christ to have a greater influence on you as well. Quit settling for less than greatness Church.

Good day. Today's video Full Term is on the topic of: There is a new life planted within you, the seed which is the word of God, the seed which is Christ, whom you have been impregnated with when you accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, and should be brought to maturity, to full term (he who endures unto the end shall be saved); like a women with a child in the womb. We are to be fruitful and multiply spiritually; what fruit? the fruit of the Spirit, and we are required to bear this fruit unto maturity within us, as we will be held accountable before God for the health and well-being of our spirit man and the example that we live walking in the Spirit; just as a woman will be held accountable for the life of a child (in the womb or otherwise), for all souls are God's. And without Christ we cannot bring forth fruit to perfection. Our spirit man will either be healthy, whole, and complete or it will be weak, sickly, and ready to sleep (die spiritually). He came that we might have life and have it more abundantly. The thief comes to steal, kill, and destroy that new life that you have been impregnated with. Watch and pray always, casting all you care unto God, who (like a doctor cares for a pregnant woman through prenatal exams) does the caring for you, because the enemy like a roaring lion is always walking about seeking whom he may devour; and he looks for the weak and sickly. The strong continue to bring forth fruit unto perfection, having their senses exercised to discern both good and evil. The weak and sickly are unable to fully protect the word of God that was sown in their hearts, the impregnated seed, because they have allowed the cares of this life, the deceitfulness of riches, and lusts of other things to enter in and choke the word (abort the new life within them). Remember God looks within the heart of man, like a sonogram (ultrasound) done on a woman with a child in the womb to see the health and growth of the child, to see if the seed is good, acceptable, perfectly healthy, with fruit being brought to maturity, or if it is unhealthy, being choked, dead or aborted. You have been given a new life by Jesus Christ; you need to show up for your prenatal exams with God on a daily basis and nurture this new life within you growing up into Christ in all things; so continue walking in the newness of this life and bring forth fruit to perfection; otherwise you may end up weak, sickly, and be as the many who sleep, who will stand before God and have to give account of that new life that they neglected unto death, and will forever be separated from a life with God and our Lord Jesus Christ for eternity.

Another Spirit

So while God has given us access to His Spirit today, the enemy would like to get you to sign on for another one. The question now becomes have you exercised your spiritual senses to know the difference between what is of God and what is a cheap imitation of the enemy?
 
2 Timothy 1:7-9 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. 8 Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God; 9 Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began, (KJV)
 
Fear is another four letter word that should not be a part of a believer’s vocabulary. The enemy will drop his F bombs on you to see if you will bite; remember Church anything less than operating with the power of God by understanding His love is a rip off and will not have you operating with a sound mind. The Lord has mapped a path for you personally before the foundation of this world. So today if you are not experiencing the peace of God and assurance of who you are in Christ then you need to go back to your prayer closet and find out where you veered off the path.
 
I John 4:17-18 Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world. 18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear: because fear hath torment. He that fears is not made perfect in love. (KJV)
 
A perfect love is referring to maturity, spiritual maturity, where you no longer spend so much time analyzing things; instead you are quick to cast down imaginations and any other nonsense that would come against the knowledge of God. You are the one that doesn’t allow these seeds of doubt and fear to take root, but keep them out of your garden by letting the peace of God do the guarding instead of the outward man.
 
Romans 8:14-17 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. 15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. 16 The Spirit itself bears witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: 17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. (KJV)
 
The whole reason you accepted salvation is so that you could make it to the end and be glorified with Christ. Jesus Christ was the first born into the kingdom so that He could show you how to make it there. If you are not receiving your instructions first hand from our Lord then you are settling for second hand junk that will not get you home and is likely the reason you are so tormented with fear.

Good day. Today's video A Perfect Example is on the topic of: Our Lord Jesus Christ left a perfect example for us to follow. Are you growing up into Christ in all things? Are you perfecting your walk in all the will of God? To be a perfect example as our Lord, we should be studying to show ourselves approved unto God (seeking first his kingdom and righteousness), being a workman that needs not to be ashamed rightly dividing the word of truth; becoming grounded and settled in the word of God, and not moved away from the hope of the gospel; putting away childish things (works of the flesh, the traditions and doctrines of men), not being tossed to and fro by every wind of doctrine and come to the knowledge of the Son of God, Christ in us the hope of glory; being renewed in the spirit of our mind (let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who being in the form of God, thought in not robbery to be in agreement with God, but made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross), we have the mind of Christ; being a living sacrifice, dying daily to our wants and desires looking on the needs of others, being a servant, and not conforming to this world and its ways, but renewing our mind on things above where Christ sits at the right hand of God, that we may prove what is that good, acceptable, and perfect will of God; and always abounding in the work of the Lord, ready to give an answer to anyone who asks of the reason of the hope that is within us. We are to be an example of the believers. What kind of example are you today; are you moving forward unto maturity? We are to be perfect (maturity, complete), even as our Father which is in heaven is perfect. So, brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of his might, for without Christ you can do nothing. Continue in the faith, grounded and settled, and let patience (endurance, constancy) have its perfect (complete) work, that you may be perfect and entire (whole, perfectly sound) lacking nothing. And this also we wish, even your perfection (thoroughly equipped, prepared, restored). Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you. May you be a perfect example of the believers and continue to stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.

Another Spirit

(KJV)
 
Caleb was one of the few that followed our Lord fully, not just once in a while or just during the feast days that were celebrated; he made it a way of life. You will not advance very deep into the kingdom of God unless you make our Lord a full time commitment which has to become a way of life to be effective.
 
Numbers 13:30-33 And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it. 31 But the men that went up with him said, we are not able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we. 32 And they brought up an evil report of the land which they had searched unto the children of Israel, saying, the land, through which we have gone to search it, is a land that eats up the inhabitants thereof; and all the people that we saw in it are men of a great stature. 33 And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight. (KJV)
 
Now you have to ask yourself this question, why would God bring them to a place only to see them end up defeated by the enemy who appeared bigger than they were? The answer is He wouldn’t do that to them anymore than He would do it to you. What you see above is what takes place in each of us daily, the two natures we have within. Back then they would only have the Spirit come upon them for a while and then depart, but today you have that Spirit dwelling within. So when you encounter a situation that you know the Lord has led you into, which nature or spirit will you allow to have the most influence? Keep in mind that if you learn to be faithful in small things, then you will be ready when something that appears to be larger than life comes along.
 
Numbers 14:2-4 And all the children of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron: and the whole congregation said unto them, Would God that we had died in the land of Egypt! Or would God we had died in this wilderness! 3 And wherefore hath the LORD brought us unto this land, to fall by the sword, that our wives and our children should be a prey? Was it not better for us to return into Egypt? 4 And they said one to another, Let us make a captain, and let us return into Egypt. (KJV)
 
Remember what the Lord said about those that put their hand to His plow; looking back is not an option. How much time do you waste looking at things from the past thinking it was better than what you are dealing with today? If your old life was so rosy, why were you looking for something better?
 
Philippians 3:13-14 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, 14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. (KJV)
 
The Bible says that we are the head and not the tail, so quit looking behind and keep focused on the head which is Christ. God bless dearly loved and have a prosperous day in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Good day. Today's video Just the Opposite is on the topic of: The Lord's thoughts and ways are different than ours. Our carnal mind is in opposition to God, and we cannot do those things that please our Father when we operate in our carnal mind. Thus, we are encouraged to renew our minds daily on things above being led by the Spirit. We are to walk by faith and not by sight. We will experience situations in our walk with the Lord that turn out just the opposite of what we thought they would. The flesh (our carnal mind, worldly) and the Spirit are contrary to one another, so that you cannot do those things that you would. Those things that we think will enhance our walk with the Lord, may be just the opposite from that which the Lord really desires for us, which is why we are to seek first the kingdom on God and his righteousness, going to our Father first, seeking his counsel, and not leaning to our own understanding. Our own thoughts and ways will not bring us closer to the Lord; we have to cast down those imaginations of our carnal mind (arrogant reckonings, reasonings) and every lofty thing (stronghold that towers high in defiance of ) that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bring into captivity (subjection) every thought to the obedience of Christ; in obedience to the Word of God we grow closer to the Lord, and come into agreement with His thoughts and ways which will be pleasing in our heavenly Father's sight. Just the opposite of the world; it is not of works; it is by grace through faith that we will stand justified in His sight.

Another Spirit

You know for those that are in the flesh and choose to stay there, history has a way of repeating itself, over and over again. If you desire to break the cycle and enter into the Promised Land then you will need to see with a spiritual set of eyes.
 
Ephesians 1:18-20 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, 19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, 20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, (KJV)
 
We as Christians should know what we are talking about, having experienced salvation first hand. We are the ones that have broken through the carnal barriers that kept us in bondage in the past and have been taken to a new realm of belief. You are considered to be the light of the world because you have plugged into a different source of power, one that is not of this realm. There is so much going on in our Lord’s realm and so much He desires to show His people, if only they would seek Him first and make His kingdom a priority.
 
Matthew 7:26-29 And every one that hears these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: 27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it. 28 And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine: 29 For he taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes. (KJV)
 
The doctrine of Christ is the only one that will get you home because it is the only one that will enlighten your spiritual eyes so that you can understand and see clearly who you are in Christ. Jesus was a man who was tempted in every manner like as we are, yet sinned not because He chose to believe more in the inward man and less in the outward appearance. When you encounter a breakthrough in your life and are standing in front of your destination, will you move forward or allow the enemy to paint you the worst case scenario?
 
Hebrews 4:9-11 There remains therefore a rest to the people of God. 10 For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his. 11 Let us labor therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief. (KJV)
 
Today your spiritual promised land can be summed up in the term “rest”. You enter into this rest when you cease from what you think works and allow Christ to take over instead.  Will you enter into your promised land today or will you keep doing things your own way?

​The Lord’s Table

Church, many are not discerning the Lord’s body, and who is allowed to drink of the cup of the Lord and partake of his table. There are many false prophets and teachers as well as their damnable heresies out there corrupting the truth of the word of God and gospel of Christ. They have become like the world, therefore speak they of the world and the world hears them. You cannot serve God and mammon (money); and the love of money is the root of all evil.
 
1 Corinthians 10:21 Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of devils. (KJV)
 
Romans 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; (KJV)
 
Romans 1:19-32 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. (20) For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
 
(21) Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. (22) Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, (23) And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
 
(24) Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: (25) Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. (26) For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: (27) And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. (28) And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; (29) Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, (30) Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, (31) Without understanding, covenant breakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: (32) Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them. (KJV)
 
Many religious organizations and leaders have corrupted the word of God for advantage sake. Whether it be for money, fear of men or governments, or seeking the praise of men more than the praise of God. They have errored from the truth and from the faith that was delivered unto us by Jesus Christ. They seek to please men more than God, and they have compromised with the world in fear of speaking the truth of God’s word.
 
Church, we are in perilous times. There are false prophets and those of this world who say there is no hell and that everyone goes to heaven; and that is a hell of a doctrine! They say that it doesn’t matter what life you live, God loves and accepts everyone; anything goes, you can be who or want you want to be, you can do whatever you want to do, have whatever you want to have at any expense, love who you want to love, marry anyone you want to marry, you can murder the unborn child, you can mutilate your body (which by the way is not your own), you can change your God given body to another sex because you believe he made a mistake when he created you, or any other ungodliness or unrighteousness as written in Romans 1:18-32. These are smooth words that they speak to please the people so that they continue to support their ministry, their business, their beliefs. What they don’t tell you is that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God and are worthy of death; and so are those who have pleasure in them that do them. They are deceiving and being deceived; they are the servants of corruption. They are without excuse before God. It is a wide gate and broad path that leads to destruction (hell) and there are many on that path.
 
Isaiah 30:8-11 Now go, write it before them in a table, and note it in a book, that it may be for the time to come for ever and ever: (9) That this is a rebellious people, lying children, children that will not hear the law of the LORD: (10) Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits: (11) Get you out of the way, turn aside out of the path, cause the Holy One of Israel to cease from before us. (KJV)
 
2 Peter 2:18-19 For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error. (19) While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage. (KJV) (Note: read all of 2Peter chapter 2)
 
And the people that accept (compromise) and follow their pernicious ways are also without excuse before God.
 
The truth is that God does love all his creation, but he does not love nor accept the sinful impulses or nature of mankind. It is a strait gate and narrow path that leads to eternal salvation with God our Father and our Lord Jesus Christ, and sad to say, there are few who find that path and stay on it.
 
The truth hurts and many today don’t want the truth of God’s word because it convicts them of their sins, but rather they are choosing to believe a lie from the father of lies, the devil himself. They are overthrown in the wilderness of this world with worldly doctrines of demons.
 
1 Timothy 4:1-2 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; (2) Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; (KJV)
 
Church, read your Bibles (preferably the King James Version, which is the original translation of the scriptures, as many of the other versions leave out Christ, and other words that change the meaning of the scriptures); make sure that what you hear from men agrees with God’s word, His truth. Ask God our Father in heaven to reveal the truth of His word unto you through the Holy Spirit. Let the eyes of your understanding be enlightened to His truth. The Holy Spirit will lead and guide you into all truth and show you things to come. And don’t compromise with the world and its ways; instead, continue to hold fast the profession of faith and to the truth of God’s word. Let God be true, but man the liar.
 
1 Peter 4:1-5 Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin; (2) That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God. (3) For the time past of our life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries: (4) Wherein they think it strange that ye run not with them to the same excess of riot, speaking evil of you: (5) Who shall give account to him that is ready to judge the quick and the dead. (KJV)
 
You cannot serve sin and drink the cup of the Lord nor partake of his table. We are in this world, but we are not to be of this world. We are to come out from among them and be separate and touch not the unclean thing and God will receive us and be a Father unto us and we will be his sons and daughters (2 Corinthians 6:14-18).
 
Yes, God has sent out the invitation to everyone to come and drink of the Lord’s cup and partake of the Lord’s table, but they have to accept the invitation which he has sent, Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and repent of their sins. This is what will allow them to partake of the kingdom and righteousness of God.
 
John 3:16-21 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (17) For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. (18) He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. (19) And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. (20) For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. (21) But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God. (KJV)
 
Revelation 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. (KJV)
 
The Lord’s cup and the Lord’s table are for those who have accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and savior; and who have chosen to walk in the Spirit and not fulfill the lusts of their flesh, nor continue to walk in the way of the world; and have disowned the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling of the word of God deceitfully; those who have chosen to walk the straight and narrow path of life in Christ Jesus. You cannot serve the God of all creation and the god of this world; it puts you in a place of lukewarm which will also end in eternal damnation if you do. You are either for God or against him, there is no middle ground.
 
The warnings are written and known, and yet, many choose to follow the world, and this includes the many religions, faiths, denominations, and their organizations. There are few who choose to hold fast to God’s truth; His word is truth. To be a Christian, is to be Christ like in spirit, soul, and body, in all manner of your life, seeking to please our Father in heaven instead of the world. For if we seek to please men we cannot be a servant of Christ.
 
Ephesians 5:11-13 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. (12) For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret. (13) But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light. (KJV)

Remember, there is one body (the body of Christ), and one Spirit, even as you are called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism (it is spiritual), one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. And those who are on the outside of the One, do not have a right to partake of the Lord’s cup nor his table, nor the tree of life, nor are they able to enter into the gates of the new Jerusalem.
 
The world may say there is no hell, and there are no consequences for living a life of sin, or a life apart from God, but they will find themselves in a hellfire of a predicament come the day of judgment. And those religious organizations that say they are following God but compromise with the world and teach others to do the same will have the greater condemnation, and they too will find themselves in a hellfire of a predicament come the day of judgement. All “their” righteousness will end in the lake of fire.
 
So Church, let God and his word be true, and man the liar. You have to overcome the world and its ways that you used to walk in, and it is a daily renewing of the mind in the word of God, and daily choosing to be a doer of that which our Father asks of you in obedience. And always seek the Lord for his answer to the issues of this life that come along. And for Christ’s sake, and God our Father’s don’t be like the rest of the world which lives in ungodliness and unrighteousness nor make compromise with them, or you may find out that you too have no right to partake of the Lord’s cup or table any longer. God bless and keep the faith which has been delivered unto you through our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

Another Spirit
 
Numbers 14:22-24 Because all those men which have seen my glory, and my miracles, which I did in Egypt and in the wilderness, and have tempted me now these ten times, and have not hearkened to my voice; 23 Surely they shall not see the land which I swore unto their fathers, neither shall any of them that provoked me see it: 24 But my servant Caleb, because he had another spirit with him, and hath followed me fully, him will I bring into the land where into he went; and his seed shall possess it. (KJV)
 
Many are called by God, but so few are chosen to be used by Him. Many settle for an inferior gospel or just call it quits when persecution or affliction arises for the Gospel’s sake. Many go back to a feel good doctrine that doesn’t enhance their walk with the Lord, but only gives them a warm fuzzy feeling. In order for you to make it to your destination it will take the influence of “another spirit” to get you home; otherwise you will end up like the many, wandering around aimlessly in the wilderness until they perished.
 
1 Corinthians 15:45-47 And so it is written, the first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. 46 Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual. 47 The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven. (KJV)
 
The first Adam stepped up to the plate and struck out; however, our God sent a pinch hitter for us in the form of His Son Jesus Christ so that we would no longer strike out, but could swing for the fences and make it home. You will find that in order for you to get home you need to learn to rely more on the Spirit to get you there; that being the Spirit of Christ which is within you.
 
Romans 1:18-20 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; 19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath showed it unto them. 20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: (KJV)
 
Mankind and especially His church are without excuse, because the Spirit now dwells within us and we have the promise that He will never leave us nor forsake us.  You have the choice daily to renew your mind so that the Spirit of Christ can have more of an influence in your life than that old fearful fallen one you used to rely on. God sent us His Spirit so that we could operate in the realm of the Spirit where all things are now possible to those that believe. Old things should be passed away and your life in Christ should be one of new life.
 
Romans 1:21-23 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 23 And changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and four footed beasts, and creeping things. (KJV)
 
It seems foolish to see God’s people so close to their destination, only to see them spend another 40 years getting back to where they started. If that sounds like your walk with the Lord lately then why not stop the insanity and let His Spirit have a greater influence on you than the old man that you have been giving heed to.

Bad Medicine
 
John 5:1-4 After this there was a feast of the Jews; and Jesus went up to Jerusalem. Now there is at Jerusalem by the sheep market a pool, which is called in the Hebrew tongue Bethesda, having five porches. In these lay a great multitude of impotent folk, of blind, halt, withered, waiting for the moving of the water. For an angel went down at a certain season into the pool, and troubled the water: whosoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease he had. (KJV)
 
When reading these verses one needs to understand that the writer John was giving an account of what was taking place at this pool and what the belief was among the people that were gathered around it. John was not giving credence to the fact that an angel was actually coming down from heaven and troubling the water, but his own eyewitness account of what the people were believing. To this day we have many who hold to this same belief. Having watched a documentary concerning this, there are many springs around the world that are considered to have waters that produce special powers, holy water if you would, which many swear by. For every different denomination they have their own watering hole, which shows you where they are at in their walk. Like so many, they look to the outward realm for something to cure their inward sickness, which in the end results with many being left out. These verses in John are an example of many of today’s so called churches and religious organizations who have a bunch of weak spiritually diseased followers waiting for someone or something to come along and get things stirred up. Rather than go to the source, accessing the Father through His Son Jesus Christ, many jump at the opportunity when some so called prophet or evangelist comes to town; someone they think is sent of God who is coming to get things stirred up.
 
John 4:12-14 Art thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle? Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again: But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life. (KJV)
 
What well are you drinking from today? Are you looking to the spiritual well of life to find the eternal healing waters, or are you sitting around some stagnant polluted pool of man’s doctrine waiting for something or someone to stir you up? Are you looking to quench your spiritual thirst, or are you still seeking some outside source that many think will provide them some quick fix? The devil would like nothing better than to see God’s people sitting around being idle rather than taking hold of the blessings afforded His people; many are like passengers at an airport, always on standby and never taking off.
 
Psalms 84:11-12 For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly. O LORD of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee. (KJV)
 
God is no respecter of persons. He doesn’t play favorites and all of His promises are there for the taking to any and all that are willing to walk in the Spirit. Rather than sit around all week waiting for Sunday to come so that you can go to some building and wait for someone to get you stirred up again why not spend your time in the word of God seeking the Lord for yourself; building up your own confidence and assurance so that you can get out of your stagnant lifestyle and walk in the newness of life that is rightfully yours. Instead of lying around hoping something will happen, get up and walk uprightly in the Spirit and get back on the path of life.
 
John 5:5-9 And a certain man was there, which had an infirmity thirty and eight years. When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole? The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me. Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk. And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked: and on the same day was the sabbath. (KJV)
 
If you notice, the Lord himself didn’t give credence to their belief about an angel showing up and stirring the waters. Neither did the Lord wait around for this so called angel to show up so that he could push this man into the water first. Rather He was able to give the truth to a man that had been afflicted for so many years. The Lord set a perfect example for us of how we should be ready always to give an answer of the truth to those that we encounter who have been caught up with a false belief that something in the outward would bring a healing and restoration to the inward. Only the truth can set one free. And only the word of God is able to provide the healing and make one whole; spirit, soul, and body. Our purpose in life is to point those that we come in contact with on a daily basis to the Father through His Son Jesus Christ so that they can access the One true healer and not be afflicted with the bondage of sin and sickness again. Many of us have spent time in the past afflicted and spiritually impotent; not able to walk a consistent path in the Spirit, but falling short because of sin. But now, having been set free, it is time to get up; arise from your spiritual slumber and sickness, and walk the path of life Father has for you. Walk in the blessing of healing and restoration.
 
John 5:10-11 The Jews therefore said unto him that was cured, It is the sabbath day: it is not lawful for thee to carry thy bed. He answered them, He that made me whole, the same said unto me, Take up thy bed, and walk. (KJV)
 
Watch out and beware, because just as quick as the Lord gets you back on your feet, the devil and his workers will be right there again to get you to fall back to your old ways. Many today are still so caught up in the letter of the law that they miss the blessing of the Spirit. And rather than continue in the restoration they end up weak and on their backside again; the latter worse than the beginning. So beware of man-made stagnant doctrines that keep many in bondage to physical laws and religious regulations rather than accessing the One spiritual healer that actually makes house calls free of charge, and is available 24/7, 365 days a year.
 
1 Corinthians 11:27-30 Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup. For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body. For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep. (KJV)
 
We still see, to this day, many who are weak and sickly because they don’t know the difference and do not take the time to discern what is of God and what is not; and so they end up drinking from polluted wells instead the pure living waters. Many do not take the time to dig deep enough into the well of life to find pure living waters. Instead they settle for easier to reach stagnant pools that are toxic and unhealthy.
 
2 Corinthians 3:6 Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life. (KJV)
 
The sad thing about reading the account in John 5 is that many of those around the pool (as many are still today) were actually believers, those that were seeking the answer. But as so many believers today, many are still being knocked down, ending up on their backside again, because they look and hold to the letter of the law rather than the Spirit to find true life and peace. So be ready Church, that when you get a spiritual 911 call from one of God’s people in distress you can follow the example the Lord gave to the man at the pool and give the right spiritual medicine; to all those that have been miss diagnosed and have had a bad reaction to mans’ doctrinal medicine.
