Galatians 1:15-16 But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by his grace, 16 To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood: (KJV)
One of the first things that takes place after a birth is the cutting of the umbilical cord. This means that you are no longer being fed through your mother, but are getting your nourishment firsthand. This same premise holds true spiritually; Paul found out he had to cut off his old ways of thinking and be open to a new one. He found out that in order to please our Lord, he could not rely on what man was teaching through the old Jewish laws and traditions; his source would have to be the Holy Spirit. John 16:13-15 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will show you things to come. 14 He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall show it unto you. 15 All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall show it unto you. (KJV) Learn to trust in what the Holy Spirit is speaking to you Church and don’t be swayed by what the majority settles for. Most of what I see concerning believers just scratches the surface of God’s word, and many are reluctant to go deeper in their walk with the Lord. I can assure you God would like to show you all things that His Son died to give us access to. Now it’s time for you to take up your own cross and die to anything or anyone that is telling you something contrary to sound doctrine. I John 2:26-27 These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you. 27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abides in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teaches you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him. (KJV) All through the Bible the Lord is reaching out to His people personally, saying just trust in me and I will get you home. We serve a God who cannot lie, so if He says we need not that any man teach us, then know that by allowing the Holy Spirit to lead and guide you it will get you to your heavenly destination. I John 2:18-21 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time. 19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us. 20 But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things. 21 I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth. (KJV) If any man has not the Spirit of Christ then he is not considered a part of God’s kingdom or a member of His family. The encouragement is there to draw close to God and He will draw closer to you if you let His Spirit be your personal GPS system. Why not follow someone who has been there and done it all on our behalf, and is now seated at the right hand of the Father. Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. (KJV) Do you desire to please our Lord? This will take place when you believe more in what His Spirit is dictating and less in what man tries to pawn off as truth. God bless dearly loved and have a prosperous day in Christ Jesus our Lord. Deuteronomy 8:1-3 All the commandments which I command thee this day shall ye observe to do, that ye may live, and multiply, and go in and possess the land which the LORD swore unto your fathers. 2 And thou shall remember all the way which the LORD thy God led thee these forty years in the wilderness, to humble thee, and to prove thee, to know what was in thine heart, whether thou would keep his commandments, or no. 3 And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knew not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of the LORD doth man live. (KJV)
As a born again believer in Christ you will find that salvation not only begins in the realm of the Spirit, but that it is a continual process that also needs to end in the Spirit. Just as the carnal man needs to be fed on a daily basis, so does the inner man. The inner man needs to be fed and nourished properly if you are going to make it to the finish line. Hebrews 5:11-12 Of whom we have many things to say and hard to be uttered, seeing ye are dull of hearing. 12 For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat. (KJV) The teachers that are being referred to in the verse above are not pointing to any certain denomination or organization; it is pointing the people inward so that they can re-establish the spiritual hearing of the word for themselves. At a time when they should be able to hear the Lord firsthand and allow the Spirit to speak through them, they are still in the infant stage of their walk. Hebrews 5:13-14 For every one that uses milk is unskillful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. 14 But strong meat belongs to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil. (KJV) When you were an infant you had parents who raised you and taught you how to grow up and take care of yourself. Now that you are older you need to learn to hear the Lord for yourself, and then step out in faith in what you are hearing in order to continue to mature. It’s time to get out of the nest and fly upward Church. Job 12:11-13 Doth not the ear try words? And the mouth tastes his meat? 12 With the ancient is wisdom; and in length of days understanding. 13 With him is wisdom and strength, he hath counsel and understanding. (KJV) You have carnal senses so that if something doesn’t taste right you won’t ingest it. Spiritually you have the same senses, if something doesn’t taste or sound right, and it isn’t from the throne of God, you shouldn’t allow it into your heart. Too many of God’s people have allowed the many who are not of God to have more of an influence on them than they should. In the end despite the fact that many have been called, only a few are truly chosen to deliver the truth. Ephesians 4:14-15 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; 15 But speaking the truth in love may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: (KJV) When you are not relying on what is coming straight from God Himself, then you will be like a dried out tumbleweed going from one extreme to the other because you let man dictate salvation. You will speak the truth, growing and maturing in Christ, when you eliminate man from the equation. God bless dearly loved and have a prosperous day in Christ Jesus our Lord. Galatians 1:9-10 As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed. 10 For do I now persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ. (KJV)
Remember, it was man that fell into sin and betrayed the Lord, not the other way around. Just where do you think all these silly denominations came from? Certainly not from a God who told us He is not the author of confusion, but of peace. Your days of trying to appease man and tickle their ears will have to come to an end if you truly plan on continuing with the Lord and enduring to the end. Haven’t you wasted enough time trying to please mankind when the Lord has said that the eyes of man are never satisfied anyways? Galatians 1:11-12 But I certify you, brethren that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man. 12 For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ. (KJV) That term certify in verse 11 means to declare or make known. I can assure you Church that your salvation did not come through man; so why do so many still go to man for the answer? Yes, you can fellowship with other believers and get built up and edified when it is the Holy Spirit speaking through them. It is also the Holy Spirit that is revealing to you what the Lord is speaking personally. That is why when a scripture is shared, not everyone will have heard the same thing. 1Thesselonians 2:3-4 For our exhortation was not of deceit, nor of uncleanness, nor in guile: 4 But as we were allowed of God to be put in trust with the gospel, even so we speak; not as pleasing men, but God, which tries our hearts. (KJV) The Bible warns us about the many false prophets that have risen up, especially as we get closer to the end, and are deceiving many of God’s people. Rather than take a stand many will let it slide because someone has a big following or thinking the ends justify the means. God will not use you or call you into His ministry until He sees your heart has the right motive, and you have renounced some of these things in verse 3 that may be hidden from man, but is quite obvious to our Lord. 1Thesselonians 2:5-6 For neither at any time used we flattering words, as ye know, nor a cloak of covetousness; God is witness: 6 Nor of men sought we glory, neither of you, nor yet of others, when we might have been burdensome, as the apostles of Christ. (KJV) There are many in the pulpits today who are more concerned with building up a following, rather than building up the followers. They are quite easy to spot with all their phony money pitches that they hit the people up with. Then instead of teaching sound doctrine they are more apt to tickle the ears so that they can keep the people coming back. When they get that far gone then they become a burden rather than an asset when it comes to serving our Lord. 2 Corinthians 2:15-17 For we are unto God a sweet savor of Christ, in them that are saved, and in them that perish: 16 To the one we are the savor of death unto death; and to the other the savor of life unto life. And who is sufficient for these things? 17 For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ. (KJV) To those that are people pleasers and think ministry work is an occupation and not a lifestyle, they are the ones whose lives and doctrines stink to high heaven. As we see in Paul’s time there were many who were corrupting the word of God back then, imagine what he would be writing if he heard the watered down doctrines we have going on today. I would hate to see him if he ever sat through one of these phony telethons which these hirelings are shoveling towards the people, yuck. Let God be true and every man a liar. God bless dearly loved and have a prosperous day in Christ Jesus our Lord. |
